Sex is best with a connection. But whether that's romantic love or something else, I'm not sure it matters. I'm still figuring this out.
I do know once you are living with someone in a domestic relationship, all sorts of other emotions and expectations come into play. Sex becomes integrated and sometimes dependent on these things in the relationship. And not always for the better.
That being said, I've heard many times, sex is the lubrication in a romantic relationship. It smooths everything out and helps move it forward, rather than grinding along.
I mean, come on, can you really be pissed about dirty dishes in the sink after you've just had an incredible orgasm?
Well sex is sex love is love, you can have 1 without the other and it can be great it can also suck. Is sex better with emotion involved? Well yes but again it can have a down side. Sex is complicated not the act just in general. The bullshit games the (promise) the lack of or the more than you know what to do with it. Do you stay in a relationship if your not getting it? Well from doing it I say it's possible not fun but possible. Is their a reason why medical maybe mental? Ask yourself what is my responsibility to the other will it get better what can I do to help if anything. Truth is what are you willing to sacrifice for yourself and how long and for who. If the bills don't get paid collection takes it away. With holding sex from your significant other is no different you might be strong for awhile but eventually that itch needs to be scratched.

I don't understand how arranged marriages work. They don't even know if they are sexually compatible. After all, who doesn't test drive their car before signing the contract? I think something that important in a relationship is one of those things that should be discussed and exercised before a lifetime commitment is made.
