If site administration is in place to protect the members, in my opinion, a source should not be forgiven for posting a customer's personal information. No exceptions. Zero second chances. I don't care what the customer did. If that is a tactic that a source is willing to resort to, they don't belong in this business. GTFO and get a real job. Fuckin rookie.
And shame on any member/customer for excusing, or trying to justify such behavior.

In all honesty Pale I bounce around to many SI's that I don't do business with. I was still curious what was happening with that source after all the bullshit. And I was pretty shocked to see the same guy who started this forum, said the mods and administration should be doing more, and tried to rally the community against the source all of a sudden being cool with him. I'll drop the whole subject, you know me well enough to see I don't purposely start drama on this forum. I was just curious about the change of heart. I'll let it be, it's really none of my business anyway......curiosity killed the cat on this one. Sorry

there is no excuse for exposing peoples info period. That doesnt stop some sources from doing it, i know i have personally went after at least ten incidents where this has happened since I been a MOD. Used to really piss me off I just wanted to ban them all, so I know where you guys are coming from. BUT we are a review site, people need to be able to come on here and find out information about a source, good or bad....SO there is a catch 22....However, we got an idea that we are gonna pass onto the boss that would satisfy both parties IMO. Placing a banner across the top of these sources page where it doesnt get buried and everybody has a chance to see it. We cant save many people from themselves but we might be able to save those with a little common sense....

How about a banner on top of every sources si. Stating every fuck up they've had. Knowingly selling shit gear. Selling people's info. Posting mods personal info. Posting shipping info on a pack that happens to be in route. Or simply stating this source hasn't fucked up lately.

The way I see it is like this, whatever the Mods are suggesting to BFG is to be seen, so we should all wait and see what gets OK'd and what doesn't. Whatever BFG decides to do is his right... Don't like a source being shady? Don't buy from them. Anyone who spends 15 minutes outside of the SI pages should know if there is anything going on... And those who only spend their times in the SI pages, fuck them - they're a lost cause. Like you said, it's a review site. We're all big boys and girls here (except Rusty, he's still a wee little girly).
