Meal prep companies! Your thoughts..
ad
Everyday it seems I see a new meal prep company popping up with a pro reppin them. These sound great but for me I wouldn't trust anyone who is trying to make a profit to cook my meals for a prep. Not to mention it seems that this is just another example of people being fuckin lazy.. No one wants to do cardio, Youngins are slamming massive drugs so they don't have to suffer.. I don't know , it just seems like people are getting lazier. Not to
Mention I can't imagine it's cheaper then buying your own shit at Costco and cooking it.. Your thoughts..

If you can addord it then it is a great advantage but what happened to the good ol days were you prepped it your self and put it in ziplock bags? What is this world coming to? If your like me and still do it the old school way then RIGHT NOW!
Next thing you know there going to make a machine to shit for you so you don't lose your gains haha
What you said pretty much sums up the way I feel about it. If a person has the time, it's gotta be cheaper to do it at home. I hope I never get that busy where I have to rely on a meal prep company. I don't really care for strangers cooking my food, but that's just me though.
They are a luxury. EXPENSIVE!!! I prefer preparing my own food anyway,,,I enjoy it.
I have one day a week I set aside to prepare my meals for the week.
rxagentYou heard the saying time=money.
For one person 2-3 hours spent on cooking could mean a loss of $60
For the second person 2-3 hours spent on cooking could mean a loss of $600
If you own multiple businesses and don't have much time on your hands why not pay for luxuries such as these "fit healthy meals" prepped and delivered straight to your door every morning. It beats eating out 3-4 times daily if you are trying to be fit. This is just one example of many. For me personally I'm not exactly where I want to be financially just yet, so these companies just aren't for me (yet).
Meal prep companies simply answer a supply and demand question. In today's service economy everything needs to be now now now, with the least effort possible... (Think Amazon buttons, because logging onto the fucking account is now too strenuous). I think they're a huge waste of money for anyone with a few (2-3) hours per week to make food, but my hat goes off to the guys running them. They see an opportunity and they seize it.
Meal prep companies are bullshit, as you said older muscle. Get the groceries bring them shits home and cook something and stop being lazy. Convenience isn't always better because it turns into a crutch eventually and not to mention it's way cheaper to do it yourself. I believe in the art of self reliance they day you no longer do for yourself your fucked, I work 72 hours a week In a fast paced and demanding job and still make time to cook my meals and hit the gym for an hour a day 5x a week.
Nice!
Costco is the shit. Meal prep on a budget!
Well depends on your job I'd say. But ya for the average person it seems lazy and expensive. But hey if you got the money why not lol
