Well fellas I finally did it. I did my first show this past weekend and I was pretty pleased with the results. I took 2nd in the open lightheavyweight and fifth in the masters. Pretty big discrepancy and I am not sure why but I was happy to bring home some trophies. My wife also competed and got 5 Th in her figure class so overall it was a good day. We had a blast and we look forward to improving our 42 year old physiques for our next show Thanks for reading ..

Thank you everyone for the kind words.. I joined this site 4 years ago and my life and physique has completely changed because of the knowledge I've gained from the folks on here . It is no surprise that many of you who commented are the exact people I learned from and I am sincerely thankful.

Totally addicted to the process .. I think i am going to take off for the summer, thicken up then start prep November for a show in March. I want to give my body a nice break cause God knows It deserves it. I can't wait to improve and do it again . What an amazing life altering experience. My wife also wants to put on some size so I think that will be our focus until November ..
