As we get older we lose people. A guy I have known here for the last 6 years passed away on New Years Day. He was old - 72, diabetic, had previously had heart surgery...he was a Texan and talked a lot of bullshit. But underneath it all he was a decent guy. He cared about the people in his life. He died in his sleep - I keep wondering: Did he fall asleep thinking about all his problems and the things that he had to do tomorrow, like we all do? Only never to wake up.... Sam (his name) was always nice to me. I tolerated his tall stories because I could see a good guy underneath it all. Life really isn't a plan or goal or anything we can control - we can often influence it's direction - but never it's conclusion. Truly love the people you love and tell them that you love them. It costs nothing...because a time will come when you wont be able to tell them.
Wise words brother thank you
Almost a year to the day I lost my best friend here ( the foreign country where I live) to a rare form of leukemia. He was a cool guy - laid back, gentle, never a bad word about anyone. Same age as me. I miss that guy a lot - and think about him always - he was my gym buddy and my mate. Sorry for your loss - I do understand. Yeah - about the gear - it does lots of things to the body - liver, kidneys, gonads...I guess that the 'less is more' philosophy is worth remembering...I have never done the big doses and never had the big gains - but never had the associated sides also.
Thanks he was a great guy ,sorry for your loss also ,human nature is when it's time to go i guess there's no one that can stop it ,and yea im sure gear worsened his condition who knows how long he had it and was stil on gear .
The days drag on, the years fly by.
One day at a time, brothers. Be smart, be focused, and be in the moment. You're looking backwards at your years before you know it.
Thanks brother
