I Apologize
I apologize to the community. I recently posted a link about a man that questioned discrepancies about the Holocaust and was jailed for it in Canada. Some members on here didn't like it because it mentioned a sensitive subject. Instead of being understanding by watching the video about the man getting his freedoms walked on by the government, or just not getting involved with the subject, they focused right on Holocaust. His freedom of speech being taken away was not as important. One person even posted all of this crazy conspiracy shit that wasn't even on the video to discredit my intelligence, I think he got his info from a completely different website that was linked to that subject on Youtube. So Hollywood had to come in and shut it down, because it was on its was to turn negative. I guess I made a bad judgement call by posting it, I thought the members here could learn from it, by I was wrong. I now feel that most people here do not think like me. Although this may not be the proper outlet for that kind of thing, I just hope that in the future we can talk about sensitive subjects without being censored. Again, I apologize.

nice post....I think if you ask a US soldier or British soldier survivor who was captured by the SS and placed into Concentration camps they would tell you about the Holocaust.
From what I understand the US and British POW's were not sent to the infamous concentration camps. Everybody else pretty much (soviet, polish, hungarian, jews). There is an amazing series about Auschwitz on netflix if anyone cares to watch. I was pretty blown away by it...

Also the U.S. was known for treating German POWs pretty well, which bothered many black soldiers that faced much discrimination at that time. I find history entreating, but you must remember that the meaning of history is "his-story", and is exactly that, it does not mean truth. I believe you must look at both sides of the coin so you can become educated about a subject. I also think that when people take away the basic rights of speech pertaining to a topic they have something to hide and it should be looked into further. In school I was taught that everyone in the free world was born with certain rights, and im finding out as I get older that this is just not true. When people with lots of money can place people in high political positions, they can delegate what subjects are allowed to be discussed publicly and what ones aren't. I also was never taught that you could be deported to Israel for questioning the Holocaust. The Patriot Act is being used against its citizens as a tool of terror, but its ok, because lawmakers put it into effect. To me it doesn't matter what issue is discussed, all of them will offend at least one person. The important thing is that we open our eyes to what is happening, because by ourselves we are weak, but together we are strong.
I watched a show on national geographic that said the Germans had a secret camp for US soldiers. I know the germans shot British special forces captured. They never went to POW camps. Hitler ordered all special forces shot when captured. I visited Auschwitz and Dachau.

I don't know what happened but I can tell you feel bad about what offending ppl but stand firm in your issues. It doesn't feel very apologetic. More explanatory. But at least you had the stones to say you fucked up. Some ppl can't handle that.

That's not even close an apology bro... an apology doesn't have a "BUT" attached to it.
And its a long standing policy that we have zero tolerance towards racism, sexism or any prejudices for that matter. With the wide variety of members here it is OUR job (Not just the MODS but everyone) to make everyone feel welcome so ANYTHING that may insult, threaten or cause dis ease to even .5% of our membership is unacceptable and DAMN RIGHT it will be censored!

The Holocaust was a racial issue, but trying to find out the things happened during it is not, it is just trying to seek out the truth. I was unhappy with how members conducted themselves and jumping to conclusions without watching the vid. I just wanted to bring, to whoever wanted to read my posts attention, that we are slowly losing our freedoms. The man in it was locked up for discovering conflicting facts and bringing it to the public's attention. It is not a racial or anti-semetic issue, it is an issue about everyone's freedom of speech. The Holocaust happened 70 years ago, we are losing our rights and freedoms now. When I was deployed in the Middle East I saw things that make me look at things a little different. I understand Eroids is not the place for me to be posting certain things and that is why I apologized. I didn't apologize for its content, which can be sensitive in nature to some. I wanted people to learn from the post. Also, I agree, Freedom ain't free, the military loves to say that.

my grandmother came here from the german polish border as a young woman to escape the holocaust, many of her family wasnt so lucky.
We all make mistakes about what should or should not be posted on our favorite website, I know I have. Good to see some one man up, not make any excuses and apologize. Good on you brother.
I'm all for free speach, but I didn't feel like Eroids was the place for this. It seems like that's what Hollywood said as well.
