genetics

ad

there is one thing we cant change in life, and that is the genes we are born with,

there are 3 main body types
1: endomorph- chubby, round
2: ectomorph- small frame- classic (hard gainer)
3: mesomorph- naturally well built, no problems gaining muscle

some people are lucky enough to be blessed with the classic adonis mesomorph frame with a little bit of ectomorph mixed in to keep them ripped even when bulking...

then there are the genetically f*cked... that would be me, and i am sure many others on this site. i was born an endo/ectomorph, so to break it down, my genetics determined that i am supposed to be a fat hardgainer... well i say f you genetics!! we have the secret weapon and we are not afraid to use it!!

So jump on a cycle, poke a stick in genetic's eye, AND GET YOUR SWOLE ON!!

if you want to learn more about body types, i inserted a helpful link below.

Never heard of an endo/ecto.

a person can be more than one trait, for instance - lee priest is an endo/meso- meaning you have traits of more than one body type. one is more dominant than the other- for instance, i am lanky, and have the small bone structure of an ecto, but hold fat like an endo. (luckily my bf is low enough right now that it is not noticable)

I know a person can be more than one but I've never heard of them being opposite ends of the spectrum. Endo/meso, ecto/meso yes...never heard of ecto/Endo. Sounds like an oxymoron to me. Like saying I'm lean fat. Interesting

I was doing some research recently to determine Testosterone levels in reference to body types and found quite a bit of information against not being able to naturally change your appearance regardless of body type.

You are correct pat,

Each body type has different hormonal considerations, as follows..

Ectomporh: Thyroid and SNS dominant
Meso: Testosterone and Growth Hormone Dominant
Endo: Insulin Dominant

Each of these really presents its own challenges to the changing process (well except the meso, but care still needs to be taken to maintain body composition)

hmm.. makes sense, i guess.

i would be interested to see the information on test levels and body types, there has to be some kind of correlation. now you've got me curious..:-) time to google!!!

Thats what kept me searching I was not able to find anything to suggest higher test levels in mesomorphs. But, I wasn't able to find any correlation between big muscles and a pronounced brow either but have seen it over and over! LOL ;-P

I honestly dont think i have a bit of meso in me, i definately dont look like it now... but a few years ago, i looked like a really fat guy with tiny wrists (endo/ecto)
