Email notifications

About mid afternoon yesterday, I noticed that I had stopped getting email notifications for replies to my posts. Browsing through the forums, however, I continued to come across numerous replies from others. I have noticed this morning that the settings for "email notifications for replies to my comments" no longer exists in our profile account settings page.
Because my email notifications were no longer working, and because the 'heartbeat' feature is not functional yet, I have no way of knowing if someone is trying to keep the dialogue going. In most cases, these replies are either someone that is asking questions for guidance or providing feedback. I enjoy being able to help where I can.
It is difficult to do this at this time. In order to know that replies are posted, I am having to try and remember where all I have posted, and then go back and find the threads to see if someone has replied with questions or feedback. Any chance this will be corrected?

would rather not have them.. im in here all the time..
and my email box is over 100 or more a day anyway..

Anonyou always had the option to turn it off, or set it to notify you only when someone comments on your posts. i get close to or more than 100 emails from eroids a day. doesn't bother me, because i delete each one after i click on the link. my inbox is never full and it doesn't take much effort to do this.
i like to know that someone is still asking me for advice. for those that wish to not be notified, a simple click of a box turns it off.
56tooI've also noticed no more tracking feature which basically does what you describe. As far as email notifications, Im glad they're gone as there was no way to control it.
Anonlol. the "heartbeat" feature (the icon directly to the right of the eroids logo on the PC version) is supposed to function like the track feature did. it's just not up yet.
emails used to have 3 settings for replies:
1) all comments to threads i comment on
2) replies to my comments only
3) no notifications for replies
it seems now like it has defaulted to the 3rd option.
