It's really no surprise. Folks will walk into the ER for free health care in the states. But they have the newest coolest cell phone.
We talk about helping folks more, how folks need more and more from govt to get by. But, what happened to family pride and handling your own business?
In America, the debt is $15 trillion, but we are saying that we need to spend more so folks can get more.

In someways I agree with you.
I've seen both side of the fence, part of the problem is the government created or thru law change allowed a good part of what is going on in the economy to happen.
Hell, about 10 months ago one of my clients stopped me in Costco and told me that he had just had the best 2 years financaly in the 100+ year history of the family business (4 generations). He then went on to tell me that just the week before he had gotten back from China where he had signed a 1.5M contract for several thousand piece order of an item I use to manufacture for them (asshole). I haven't seen a paying job in 15 months or a decent pay check in almost 30 months, I don't do welfare or food stamp or any of that shit,........but I sure as shit wished there was some work around. Also several of the contractors I regularly subed out to, have had pay days in almost a year and a half.
Good perspective and it let's me be clear: 1) I am in favor of programs that help those who want to help themselves. 2) Legislation and economic incentive (or lack thereof) has some blame for social problems.
Hope it turns around for you. And that dude is an asshole! Who brags to a former associate about how badly they are putting it to you? Thanks for bragging about how foreign slave labor is helping your family. Pathetic.

sgtstedankoI agree completely! It might be that it's a lost cause already brother ; ( There are way too many dip shits out there/in here. We the people, are out numbered. They've got us surrounded... This thing is all Face Book Jr now. I've honestly not been around here too long, but in the short time that I have, it's really changed. Some for the worse, some for the better. We'll just have to wait to see. Maybe fight our way out, then back in again...
