+ 2 Dental Work - Implants

ad

Good afternoon everyone. I don’t really talk much about myself personally on here but I had some unfortunate health problems several years back, it hasn’t came back thankfully. Unfortunately, it killed my dental health and I am getting some implants soon.

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask but I figured I’d give it a shot. Is there anything against being on cycle when getting dental work done? I haven’t scheduled it yet, because I wanted to get some advice from my eroid brothers. Mainly on if anyone here has had any dental work done on cycle, any risks? Things like that.

I understand we aren’t doctors or dentists here or maybe someone is lol, but I just wanted to get some opinions or advice on the matter. Could I ask my dentist and be straight forward? What’s the best plan of action for me? Just wanted some support and some advice from the vets, being still wet behind the ears so to speak lol.

Thanks for reading.

Normally they ask before surgery if you use any medication drugs etc ... Just be straight then they can prevent medication that works on the hart and give like strokes or hart attacks. I stayed for 2 months in the hospital and i whas honest about my cycle the didnt realy care about it . The where happy that i named what i whas using and they said there whas no problem .

How did these implants end up going pal - did you have conscious sedation for them?

Awesome man awesome. I finally got one of them in about 6 weeks ago but left the sedation as I was scared about how it would feel - BIG mistake! With all the instruments they have in your mouth together with trying not to get blood and spit in the hole they drilled I found it quite tough and they wanted me to come back and be sedated as I also needed a sinus lift and bone graft. So Wednesday just gone was back in for the rest and they gave me the Michael J drug Propofol!! Within 10 seconds of him plunging the huge 100ml barrel I was out cold, cannot remember a single thing. Its great isn't it - did they give you the same sedative? My jaw has been killing ever since lol

I woke up this morning bud and my front molar implant has been bleeding quite heavily during the night as its formed a huge clot on top and was all over my teeth and face, which is a bit worrying with it being 5th day in. Did any of yours start bleeding again within the first few weeks? I am thinking maybe one of the dissolving stitches has expired and an old clot has come off that hadn't fully healed.

I can imagine if they did 12 at once that must have really hurt afterwards, anything that causes my jaw bone to move even talking/walking hurts. When you got the crowns put on did it feel really weird at first? When you bite does everything line up differently to what it did before but then you gradually get use to it? I am guessing they take the abutments back out then place them through the crowns then screw them back in.

Hey bro. I guess that could be a legitimate question, I have been put under and had some teeth removed with 0 issues on cycle. I didn't experience any issues. Good Luck.....Peace

Bud I've had a lot of Dental work done over the past few years that resulted from my alcoholism days, at the beginning my oral hygiene was menial at best and in my final few years of abuse non existent. I've had tooth rebuilds, fillings. extractions all on gear - trenbolone / anadrol the lot. What the Dentist is bothered about is your blood clotting abilities during and after surgery, if you are on medications to thin this or your blood is weak at clotting then they need to know. I would also advise ceasing taking Cod Liver oil a few weeks before getting the screws for the implants put in as this really does thin the blood - when I was hammering this at one point my gums were bleeding a lot more than usual. Don't take any painkillers before surgery either - there they will give you Antibiotics to help the screw bed into the bone without infection and possibly also painkillers or prescription for some (they are all different). Then as you know you will return in 3 months for the crowns to be fitted Smile How does press know all this? I'm getting some new molars in the New Year after some of mine went bad and had to be pulled in the end Sad Depressing to think but as you know we gotta put the past behind us and get some knew gnashers to eat that Meat!! Lol

Yep the money involved is insane isn't it, made me fully realise why some of the dentists are pretty wealthy especially if you own your own clinic. I admit I'm pretty nervous about it all, but then I remind myself of what I've already been through with other work and it isn't that much different really. Its the apprehension of not knowing that's the worst - as you do not know what the experience will be like on the day. Are you having conscious sedation for it? Thing is afterwards when everything is in it will be well worth it Smile

I think veneers will be different to implants buddy, with implants you also have quite a few trips there such as the initial assessment and planning/X-rays, titanium screw insertion, crown impressions, then fitting of crowns. Then there is the check up after the screws have been placed.

Besides the fact you may not be able to train with any intensity for an amount of time while you recover the only other problem I know is if your BP is high it can cause problems with the teeth bleeding continuously which obviously you wouldn’t want.

Good luck mate. A set of nice gnashers changes the way people treat you instantaneously.
