I'm at the gym and there is a retarded boy he looks 17-19 years old .. These punks was making fun of him and just being mean like every time he would put down a weight they would walk right up and take it from him.. He started cying and it pissed me off so I walked over and got in there ass about it they was being dicks and finally walked away after they knew I wasn't playing...WHO THE FUCK MAKES FUN OF PEOPLE LIKE THAT?? Blows my mind away .. And what really pissed me off people was just standing there watching it happen!!!!

Good for you for standing up for him at least! There will always be awful people like that in this world, all we can do is do our best to be the "good ones" and stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves.
I have always prided myself in being the bully equalizer. I was bullied when I was small. I was a late bloomer 158cm 55kg or 5' 2" 120lbs going towards the end of my sophomore year. I grew 25cm 11" in a year. I was already a handful to pick on when I was much smaller and then I had reach, size, and was meaner than a snake. Needless to say I didn't get picked on anymore and neither did those around me. I hate bullies and I will be the first to step in till the day I die. I feel so strongly about this that I have to be careful so as I do not become the bully I hated so much all my life. So you did right to step in but be careful not to become one of them to them...... If this makes any sense at all?
Sirk1981I saw this kid and his mother by the middle school I live by, He was holding a sign that said "MY MOM IS MAKING ME HOLD THIS SIGN ALL DAY BECAUSE I AM A BULLY" i passed by 4 times that day and he was there until it got dark. PARENTING DONE RIGHT IMO!!!!!

Good on ya bro. Situations lile this are an epidemic lately. Last week I intervened when this new kid to the gym, little chubby fella, probably about 16 years old was benching, got 95lbs stuck on his chest. A group of other highschool douchebags instead of helping sat there and laughed and cracked jokes. I helped the poor guy out and worked in with him the rest of his workout, I also had a few words with those clowns and made sure they were very uncomfortable with themselves.
Like someone else already stated parenting has a big part in this, its like noone is taught respect anymore.
A lot of it comes from the parents not in stilling morals and having the balls to bust there kids ass when they act up..
you bet brother, you hear a lot about kids today and how lazy they are damb if the adult parent's aren't just as lazy. effort always felt better to me than laziness, don't get it amigo...
My brother has a mental handicap and when i hear someone defend another person like this it truly hits home. Thank you for doing this, when I was growing up I knew my brother would have to endure this type of treatment so I went out of my way to develop a reputation so no one fucked with him. Again thank you bro.

Who in their right minds would EVER think it's okay to do something like this? To anyone, let alone a person that has a mental handicap? And this is the exact reason I haven't looked at, loaded, cleaned, nor shot my Glock .45 ACP in a year. Because I'd be tempted to rid the world of a few more useless sacks of shit that like to pick on defenseless and weaker humans than themselves. My tolerance level for that shit is set at ZERO. It truly makes me sick that these asshats can't tell you that it's wrong to pick on a "retard" in this day and age. But as I see it with all the bullshit talk around here about walking with the immortals and being extraordinary beings in a sea of ordinary people we have a distinct responsibility. If we truly "walk with the immortals" or are supposedly a cut above the rest we are obligated to use our "power" to protect the weakest of the herd. Just like Uncle Ben says, "With great power comes great responsibility". So yes, you did the right thing my friend. Bravo. And as liaisons between the regular world and the world of AAS we need to set good moral standards to forward our cause and validate responsible use of AAS.

God bless you brother, I commented on a post while back about this same bullshit, at my gym we have a young man with downs, same thing he pours his heart out in everything he does and wears it on his sleeve, most kind and loving person you'll meet. unfortunately being in a college town some of these entitlement kids think they own the place and once thought it would be fun to mock and make goofy faces at this kid. guys, my partner and I were doing hammer curls we quickly walked over to these 3 and the instigator of the bunch my partner dropped his 50lb dumbbell on this guys foot and we both proceeded to educate them, before it was over Tommy the downs boy and about a dozen others standing behind us made it clear that this behavior would not be tolerated. one of the kids had a smart ass mouth and hasn't been seen since, the other two who followed the other assholes lead learned a life lesson have given Tommy a sincere apology and now have also befriended him. what a sad world we live in when people pick on and make jokes at the expense of those who can't fight for themself s. I'm a family man who would not consequently put myself in a situation that would warrant fighting others battles, when it comes to the special needs people you've just poked the bull and now you'll get the horns.
