Are all American Juiceheads republican??
I know this seems like an other weird post, but bear with me, I am member of several forums much like all of you and almost in all of them, when there is a political topic remotely related to U.S most members heavily focus on the negative sides of Obama administration and the values that are being discussed sound very much similar to those of republicans. Now I had an other post https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/off-topic/do-all-juiceheads-drive-a... that asks if all the juice-heads drive a truck given the direct correlation between size of your car and cost of the fuel/taxes/insurance again ppl who tend to drive those cars to me seem to be republican, now putting two and two together, I have a feeling I might be on to something, or at least given my years of on and off living in U.S west coast, easy coast and midwest!

AnonI don't have any affiliation, but 2 things I try to never get into a discussion about are politics and religion. Thats how wars have been started
A republican congress stepped in, and gas prices decreased. But diesel prices never dropped below $3 a gallon. So I think conservatives hate real trucks. Lol
If we believe that any of us are truly represented in this oligarchy, then we're deluded. Every candidate had been bought and paid for from either side.
Take a look at the last midterm election. Over $4 billion was spent on an old white guy popularity contest. 60% of that spent by conservatives. So essentially, 40% of that was pissed away. And we are talking 4 billion that was spent to reach 25% of the registered voters.
There are only 319 million people in the United States. Its pretty easy to see we could make a big difference in this Country with the money spent on an election that only 25% of the registered voters even gave half of a fuck about.
Damn Tren making me stay up and read....
Koch brothers are pledging to raise close to 1 billion USD for the the 2016 election. Set to damn near outspend the republican committee and pretty much finance their own political party. Yeah... Forgot candidates these guys just own the parties now.
That money spent in 2014 by conservatives/democrats and planned to be spent in 2016 pays major dividends by buying influence. That's where the real delusion sets in, when you got guys supporting this sort of financing and saying its good for the country. What a crock of shit.
You'd figure with all this money being pumped in, we'd get the best politicians money can buy right? The pool of people we get to pick from paints a whole different picture. I doubt I'll be voting again...
If only the people had a voice in the matter. Or any matter....
Go to sleep , you're confusing me!
Sleeping is what got us here... And it's pin day.... Lol
I think the most politically vocal members are the "republicans" you speak of.... so it'll give the impression that most guys stateside are the republican, 'merica, bengazhi!!, with us or against us,, obama is a commie/socialist/muslim, types.
I'm libertarian, and don't really participate in that nonsensical exchange. The democrat/republican parties both engage in the same bullshit talking points game and have their minions (who feed off fox/msnbc, blogs, FB posts) to willingly parrot it at the water cooler, local bar, concert, and unfortunately anywhere open discussion is allowed on the internet ...
I'm sure there a lot of us who are either sick of the noise or aware of the programming/propaganda machine.
AnonNo
I'm pretty far to the left, and I've definitely noticed that the general pop here and on similar forums lean pretty substantially to the right when politics comes up. Not really sure trucks have anything to do with it though. Also pretty much everyone in America hates both of the two parties no matter what their beliefs are, so you'll rarely find ppl who want to associate with the title of republican or democrat. The U.S. "democracy" is pretty much a sham as all the politicians are practically the same, and the elections are all about picking the least terrible option among a group of preordained douche bags.
Ace VenturaThat's right. I don't consider myself a republican or democrat. I reserve those titles for politicians. I always vote republican because I feel I align myself most with the values of their party's platform, not that they follow those values. And a third party will never win anyway..... <------ especially with that attitude.
I have a f350 6.0 superduty 4×4. ,got the wife a chevy silverado king cab 4×4 , and im a juice head , so that makes me republican ????

Only a democrat would purchase a 6.0 liter powerstroke.
Yeah, I think taking care of it is the ticket. Maybe replace the head bolts. It's all good. I love everything diesel.
Once you go diesel its hard to go back to gas , I love everything about it
That is what I was thinking when I read that. I would hate to see the bills from the turbo replacements and block problems... Plus if he lives in the rust belt that thing has to be looking rough by now. We be rolling 6.6 on 20's up in here!
Boom! I've got to admit though the new powerstroke's numbers are slightly impressive. I'll be interested to see what kind of shelf life they have.
Yea them tow numbers are damn good. Mine is only rated to 17g, but I regularly pull 20..
I'm about due for new tires. Right now I'm running Toyo open country 10 plys on 20's .
I like how they look, just not so sure of the tire mine seems to be losing little chunks of rubber.
If had incredible life out of other toyo's before but these open country not so impressed.
What do you like?
I have the Revo's on it right now. I had the same ones on 18's on my other one. The place I had balance the 20's didn't get it right but in fairness their equipment is old. I have been putting off but that needs to be done. I do have Toyo 35" OC's on my other baby tho and they seem to be pretty good. We just did the 3.5" lift (AEV) and wheels/tires back in the summer. It made her a bitch to jump into tho now. Gonna take her on a rock course in the spring, wish me luck, lol
Not a touch of rust , how do I post a pic here
But you right about the block and turbo , and yes im in the rust belt ,2 coats of wax a year one at the spring and one at fall , the truck has 210 on it and runs as good , as it looks , its how plp take care of there possessions.
We are just busting your balls bro. lol
I know bro , but , I got this 2 years ago , I payed 8 k , I put 1200 in it , ro its sharp ,0 rust , looks , new , im on the phone , I dont know how to upload pic , I wi tell you tho , the 6.6 , are impressive , I can only wish , your looking at 50k ,
Buy in the fall if you ever do go for a new one. That is when they are stuck with inventory and want to deal. I got just shy of 10g off the sticker.
Nice , if I have a good year im going to have to invest , like I said this got 210 , on it and I run the balls off it with the bussiness , of it is dump , by the way , I need the dump
Obviously republicans are cons who live in the snow.
Caveat, unless you're a union worker. All union workers are cons, and democrats.
::)
Libertarian..
I like chicken.
RustyhookerI choked my chicken.
I chickened my choke.
Where do you come up with this stuff from? "1001 pointless forum posts volumes 1-12" perhaps?
At least that would mean there's only about 950 of them to go. You should be done by April at this rate......
These are such broad generalizations I can't even... You honestly believe consumers purchasing and consuming SUVs or 4x4 or AAS or any number of other products, sit there and decide whether doing so would be in line with their political views? It's called utility.
I think each group has certain values that get expressed through behavior, men who like guns, action, tend to like other masculine or heavy duty things like trucks or big muscles etc it happens that the republican party is backed by gun lobby, oil and car lobby as well, because they all share the same masculine values? may be, this is just my observation
Simple statistical concept: correlation =\= causation.
I've noticed that in winter, people in states where it snows tend to wear ski masks. I've also noticed a lot of armed robberies occur with the assailants wearing ski masks. It can therefor be inferred that increases in snowfall will lead to an increase in armed robberies. I've also noticed that armed assailants tend to use firearms when conducting robberies, and that republicans support firearm ownership, and are backed by the gun lobby as a party. Therefor I conclude that robberies are performed by republicans when there is heavy snowfall.
Do you see what I'm getting at? You're still not addressing the issue of utility. People consume products based on how much utility it gives them, and sure a republican may get more utility than a democrat from consuming weapons, but their actual political belief system has an insignificant effect on that actual utility.
Democratic women like tampons. But that does not equate to democratic women are more likely to shove things up their vaginas, engage in risky behavior, and tear down the moral fabric of America in an effort to pursue sexual freedom and other feminine values.
Potato chip sales rise in the summer. Crime rates rise in the summer. Therefore we can infer according to Tbols methods that potato chips cause people to commit crimes
ps.. I never knew that about tampons ;-(
Only if they are baked lays... And puffed goldfish.
And yes, tampons are a monstrosity ruining American culture and must be made illegal!
If I ate those I'd commit a crime ....
In some instances, crime does pay... Be forewarned, you cannot just have one.
This is fucking gold bro lol. I'm moving to a place where there's no snow so I'm at less of a risk for getting robbed z
Thank you. It's such a simple concept yet people fail to grasp it, even though it's jammed down their throats every day by media, politicians, etc etc. I'm convinced that as long as people don't have to do research, I can lead them to believe that people who wear green socks are shown to have higher instances of heart attack, and must therefor pass legislation to abolish green socks for their own safety.
AnonThis is so flawed, I can't even.. What about a woman who likes guns and muscles? By your logic or "observations," I have masculine values and therefore must be a republican? Give me a break.
right? Because democrats, communists, fascists, whateverthefuckoneclassifiesas-ists are not allowed to love guns or muscles or "masculine values"- whatever the fuck masculine values are. (Read highly subjective)
Or, the republicans appeal to the gun lobby and corporations because they support constitutional values and free business.
As for the auto industry, It's the Democrats that woo the auto unions for votes. And the Democrat's that bailed out the auto companies.
both parties agreed to the auto bailout, each side did their part in "wooing" the respective core base. Bailing out an auto industry mismanaged for decades, was somehow acceptable... But bailing out the financial industry (you know, the industry responsible for keeping the economic gears turning, not just domestically but globally) was unacceptable to these parties? There's one thing I've managed to narrow politics down to. It's a yelling competition, meant to keep the more important issues out of the light because none of these lawmakers actually have a fucking clue what they are doing.
Truth is I was against the auto-bailout but facts remain it ended up working very well. And we the people got our money back (for once)
We got our money back for both bailouts. My issue was the principal under which the bailout took place, and while we could argue about the notion of bailing out private industry (banking sector not included for obvious reasons) I can see why the move was made not so much as a means of saving the actual auto industry in the US (I believe they actually could give two shits) but rather as a means of preventing uncertainty and a reversal in what was at the time an extremely fragile recovery.
This is a very valid and smart point here, thanks for this, it actually shows me the flaw in my view as I stated it above.
You aren't looking hard enough. Masculine values? LOL, that is a new one
