+ 29 Women's Beginner Cycle..Anavar

ad

I thought I'd post a beginning cycle for women as there doesn't seem to be that much info out there for women to go to

Please keep in mind that using AAS is not to be taken lightly and the side effects can be different for each individual as sensitivities do vary from person to person.

Anavar is a great way to introduce yourself to the world of AAS. Basic cycles can be as long as 12 weeks or as short as 8 weeks. Dosages range from 5mg to 10mg for a basic cycle.

It is recommended that if you are new you start your first week at 5mg split in half morning and evening. This is to keep your blood levels fairly steady as side effects will increase if you have spikes in levels.

If 5mg is tolerated well then move up to 10mgs. Again split morning and evening so you will be taking 5mg in the am and 5mg in the pm.

PCT is not normally discussed for women but it is an important part of the cycle especially if you start getting into some of the more advance stacks. Although, it is hard to find many who might agree, it is recommended that you taper yourself off on the tail end of the cycle. By doing this you set your system up to recover itself with out any huge increase in estrogen.

Generally speaking you may experience some fat loss and an increase in lean muslce mass given that diet and training are spot on..

#This is NOT a magic diet pill

Anavar promotes lean muscle mass with minimal sides and occasional water retention. In small enough doses that its impact on the liver is minimal for women. It is also attractive to women and beginners who are not interested in dealing with needles. The predictable and minimal sides are also attractive points to those not wanting to deal with the more individual and androgenic sides of most other AAS.

Typical Sides
· interrupted period / flow - may take a few months for the flow to come back as normal. Note this does NOT mean you won't get pregnant.
· you may still experience usual menstrual sides (cramps, bloating, etc.) on your regular menstrual schedule
· mild acne
· Clitoral enlargement and increased sensitivity
· oily hair
· some experience water retention (though not due to aromatization)
· may cause vaginosis / yeast infection (most any AAS has this potential)
· occasionally people experience nose bleeds

this information is intended for entertainment purposes and does not in any way shape or form advocate for the usage of aas

Hi there KodiacGrrl,

Having a little difficulty here..perhaps you can help...I am 5'9" 131 BMI of 20 BF: 17%. Currently on a bodybuilding exercise program and at gym 7 days a week..lifting 5 days ( working different muscle groups...once weekly..as in legs once a week, chest once a week...so they have time to recover etc). Cardio 15 min each day.....active rest on weekends...30 min cardio. I eat clean and measure out my macros..different on training and non training days....higher protein on nontraining....drink whey post workout and before cardio...also BCAAs thru the day and intra. I eat 5-6 times a day and get as close to 2800 calories as i can ( some days are harder than other depending on my work load)

I see slight change in my body and starting to see some 'lines' in my upper legs...but I have always had small arms...very frustrating.

Wanted to know if you thought running var and hgh simultaneously and at what doses and times of day....

Thanks so much!

kodiakGRRL's picture

ultimately the question comes down to what is your goal?

DogoDoc's picture

Thanks for your reply!

My goal is increase in size and mass. I have a small frame. Was in marital arts when I was young for 14 years and did cross fit a few years back...my legs have muscle memory and blew up when i did cf. I was a size 12 with a 27 inch waist...now Im a size 4

kodiakGRRL's picture

I wouldn't look for hgh to help with mass but the anavar is going to help add muscle as long as you keep your food intake up ... I prefer your style of training one muscle group per week do you do a push pull? I remember having a 26 inch waist ... a long time ago ;-)

DogoDoc's picture

k, no I dont do push/pull. I am not so worried about my legs as I am about my arms..delts...but i can certainly work in push/pulls. So you thinkstraight var? what dose to start..i think no more than 15 mg / day if i recall correctly....do you split the does am and pm? What are your thoughts on rad140?

kodiakGRRL's picture

I almost forgot ... I don't do sarms ...

kodiakGRRL's picture

work in push pulls with doing one muscle group per... since you want to put on size first you really need to work the pumps and not worry so much about weights ... so you'd do chest/ back/ bis/ tris/ shoulders/legs .. rest days are inserted where needed based on training ... look up fst 7 training it was meant to be used to stretch the muscle fascia .... I took my arms from 16 to 17 inches .. I have the genetics for this ... I cant judge your genetic potential but if you eat enough train smart and right and rest ... believe me I spend more time resting than anything else besides eating ... the juice is a tool that will assist you. I guarantee you that if you dont eat enough then it won't do much ... if your base isn't solid, when you come off you will lose your gains ... solid base plus calories plus training throw in the gear and you'll get bigger...
as for dosages .. stay with 10 mg per day especially to start so you can make judgements about increasisng on subsequent cycles ... honestly I tell beginners to split the doses but I don't .. i m very bad at remembering to take orals so I take mine once a day

DogoDoc's picture

sounds good. I am in the middle of Kris Gethin 12 week body building training...there was a week of FST...I take the time to stretch between sets on most every exercise.....do you recommend a preworkout? I tried a few...made me want to vomit..i think maybe its the taste of the fruit punch ( tried IMPACT and NO xplode).. I'll start the var at 12 hour intervals....so i can keep my blood levels from waxing and waning....going to start measuring my arms as well...as far as eating....I have found tilapia is the easiest protein...so im not so full by the time the next meal comes around....

kodiakGRRL's picture

pre workouts are psychological ... the only one I can tolerate is superpump max or 250 ...

DogoDoc's picture

Thanks, I will look into both of those....not only are pre workout psychological....but workouts in total are psychological! Mind over matter! If the mind can be tricked...it dont matter!

littletigar24's picture

I've found that I can tell immediately if a preworkout had creatine in it, makes me nausea in the first couple sips! Sometimes just a cup or two of black coffee has worked for me. Natural and energizing. But I enjoy the gym do much it's not a chore to go anymore.

MeggyFlex23's picture

Hey there KodiacGrrl.

I'm a newbie. Trying to research and considering doing an Anavar cycle. I am at a plateau. 5'5" 118lbs. And my workouts need a little extra push and I want to add a little size.
What would you suggest for a cycle and what kind of diet?

kodiakGRRL's picture

change your training ..... what is your diet currently?

MeggyFlex23's picture

I have changed training up here and there. My diet....lol....I have a hard time getting time to consume what I should due to working in healthcare and not knowing what the day will bring. Also....I don't eat any veggies...I'm super picky, kinda like a 5 year old. I eat whole grains, ground turkey, steak, eggs, sweet potatoes. But I have a HUGE weakness for sweets like ice cream, chocolate, twizzler addict! I had an injury and was out of the gym for almost 2 months. And I haven't got my diet right since then.

kodiakGRRL's picture

If your diet sucks then you are wasting your money running anavar

what does here and there mean? people plateau because their bodies adjust to training and "diet" so it is necessary and required if you want to truly gain anything from runninng aas to change one or both when you stop seeing results... aas is a small part of putting on muscle size and KEEPing it

BBGirl's picture

Any advice on how to cut back on the water retention? Just started 10mg/day about a week ago and I have noticeable water retention. I'm an experienced bodybuilder with a very clean diet. First time using any AAS or PEDs. Thank you.

kodiakGRRL's picture

you can try to run some aromasin but finding the right dose will be tricky .... I don't usually bother with trying to get rid of it .. extra water means extra stength and the water goes away when cycle ends

lcv123's picture

My wife is about to jump on her first cycle and I have a few questions, I send you a friend request so I can pm you thank you

LeanBodyMiss's picture

I am interested in running my first AAS cycle and want to try anavar and see how my body reacts. I have read that stack it with Nolva or another anti estrogenic brings even better results. What is your opinion?

UgtaBkdNme's picture

You don't need to take anti-estrogens. You're a woman, you need estrogen.

LeanBodyMiss's picture

That's why I'm asking. I have read that a lot of girls use anti estrogenic the last 2-3 weeks of a cycle cause estrogen in a woman according to its functions also prevents women from build muscle and lose fat. That's why I was wondering. Thank you

littletigar24's picture

It's not something I would mess with, your body likes to maintain homostasis and unless you are prepping for a show, this will not benifits you in the long run. Better off just really tightening your diet then having to deal with possible estrogen rebound, water retention, mood swings, yeast infections and other unpleasantness that comes from messed up estrogen levels. You can still build muscle and maintain your estrogen levels. Takes time but you get to stay lean and mean in the long term, not just for a couple weeks or months.

LeanBodyMiss's picture

Good point! Thank you so much!

Rcheni's picture

Hello, i have anavar and have yet to use it because i have some fears.
I train 5-6 days a week with cardio 2-4 days depending on energy.
I want to gain muscle but also maybe get my BF down i am currently sitting at 20-21 my diet is usually really good with the exception of the last few weeks(Post workout cravings) i am hoping that doing a cycle and having goals will get my willpower back on track ...Would anyone suggest cycling with anything to help cut while also gaining lean mass or should i do it separate? if so what would you suggest for cutting? I am already on the thicker side so i just don't want to gain muscle while also gaining fat ..would anavar atleast help me lean out a little ? say 5 lbs?

kodiakGRRL's picture

cutting is ALL about your diet.. yes there are compounds that are better suited for cutting but trying to cut and add muscle mass (it is all lean) is like walking down the middle of a busy highway... you are going to get hit by a car .. pick one gain some muscle while eating enough to support muscle mass and make it clean enough to minimize fat gain but don't necessarily worry about fat .... THEN cut fat with strict dieting and fasted cardio in the am.. not too much cardio as it will burn off muscle as well but enough to get the fat burning process jump started. Anything you "use" to cut is going to back fire in the long run because instead of changing your habits you adding a "pill" and if you don't plan on taking the pill forever then you will just gain fat back when you are finished with it. Change how you approach eating and food and you will change your life ... additionally, you should make note of the fact that you WILL be and FEEL thicker from running var NO MATTER what your diet is .... you are taking a substance that was made to add muscle on people with muscle wasting diseases... it does not discriminate WHERE the muscle goes.

GigamusPrime's picture

you are the shit thanks can I add you as a friend

kodiakGRRL's picture

yes you may

GigamusPrime's picture

So KodiakGrrl what would you suggest for a muscular 5'11 around 200 lbs woman who works out daily diet is good but needs minor work. She wants a smaller yet still muscular build with little to no side effects?

littletigar24's picture

What are her goals?

GigamusPrime's picture

right now she sees 30 pound drops gains it back in 2 months but her shape remains the same but her cardio is crazy high. she wants to be able to drop a good 50lbs with real visible gains shes killing herself and not seeing it she was even doing adipex and now shes getting discouraged. I use to bodybuild in the 90s and she was doing great during that time. I think i know how to train her just don't know about the other end

kodiakGRRL's picture

she's going to see a weight increase with anavar ... no getting around that .. what are her stats as far as body fat and what is her diet ?

GigamusPrime's picture

Hey KodiakGRRL how are you? So my wife and I were watching this show and Nichole Murphy was talking about HGH and it keeping here lean you know anything about this?

kodiakGRRL's picture

sure .... what's her diet like.... run hgh with a tight diet and you'll stay lean

GigamusPrime's picture

Thanks for this My wife has struggled for years but we have always been afraid of the side effects any other help for a beginner would be much appreciated.

What I meant to say, yes I am starting the cycle on the 1st. I had trouble finding any females in my area that use this stack. As they tend to lean over to cheaper products in order to gain chunky with out fearing side effects. Besides steroids are expensive in South Africa. The girls don't mind being manly... I pull the .|.. When it comes to personal trainers when they said I was doing it all wrong. But my trial and error (and lots of reading) tested my own body. Hence why I stress on the entire genes factor. So, I am new to this forum but not new to training. Will track a log, just get my stats etc in order. Can't wait. But thank you for your reply.

mjayoh's picture

Ag ffs did my entire reply not post?

mjayoh's picture

Anavar and Proviron cycle? Advice based on if someone used the combo rather than copy pasting what wikipedia has to say. We all have different genes. I will throw a bitch fit if a guy responds to this. We all have different stats to work with. I know what it does, just would appreciate practical feedback. As ive avoided these forums as ive noticed how bitchy people get.

kodiakGRRL's picture

I ve never stacked those and probably never will.. in fact I won't touch proviron more so because of the extreme androgenic effects (too much even for me) and the very nasty estrogen rebound after using despite tapering ....

I realize you are trying to avoid some nastiness but when you start out as defensive as you have you are probably going to get some nasty just by virtue of trying to avoid it..

if you do run the stack I d be interested in knowing what you experience

mjayoh's picture

Well i've seen sweet spineless beginners ask sweet kind questions and get trampled on. So I prefer not chit chat and get right to the point.

kodiakGRRL's picture

lmao.. I m sure the sweet spineless question was accompanied by "I've been doing a lot of research" or some such and attached to a question that clearly indicated that no such "research" took place, but to each his own

Hello, I am currently on Clen but I have only been on it for two weeks and I am currently taking a two week break. I am interested in going on Anavar but there are a few questions I am hoping some one has the answer to:
- Will anavar affect my birth control pill (making it ineffective and therefore not being able to have unprotected sex)
- Can I go on Clen and Anavar at the same time?
- is there any advice you could give with regards to getting acne?
- what would a summary of my diet look like?
- what would a summary of my daily work out look like with regards to more weight training or cardio or an equal combination?

thanks so much for the help!!!

littletigar24's picture
  1. Anavar will not cancel out your birth control.
  2. Simple answer, yes. Long answer, depends on your goals.
  3. There are risks to taking steroids, and yes, acne is one of those risks. I've never had an issue with it, so I can't offer any advice.
4 and 5 depend on what you currently do. There is no magic diet and workout plan that comes with anavar. Your diet and training shold already be pretty sound and consistant before you try anavar. If you'd like help with these, post up how you currently train, your diet and what you goals are and folks here can make suggustions Smile and honestly, after checking your profile, at listed 18 years old, this is the direction you should be going, working on your diet and training, not on drugs...

Hi there. New to the community here but have been lurking a bit. I am currently in my 4th week of my first cycle of Anavar. I have a couple of questions but also wanted to share my experience in case it can help anyone else.

First off, I do not have a low BF%....my guess is that I'm right around 30-32%bf. I have lost, and kept off 80ish+ lbs and roughly 50 or so inches. I have been involved in lifting for about 3 years consistently and have been training in powerlifting for some time, but seriously started training to possibly compete in January. I have a love/hate relationship with the scale and at this point really could care less about my scale weight. My reason for deciding to try anavar was simply because I really wanted to see some muscle definition and to increase strength. I run 5/3/1 BBB and lift usually 5-6/week, limited cardio right now - simply because I don't feel like it, although that could change at any time as I do enjoy running and biking.

Besides acne, I have had very limited side effects, which I am happy about. I am thrilled with my results so far. I have definitely seen an increase in muscle, my body looks harder, and my strength is through the roof. It's PR after PR after PR right now and I love it. With that being said, I am definitely thicker - which is not a big deal for me because I'm not looking to be super lean and shredded. I mention it because I have noticed a number of comments asking about weight and fat loss. From my limited experience, if you have an obsession with the scale and are looking to lose weight don't waste your money - dial in your nutrition and your training first.

With all of that being said, I'm hoping I can get some insight from some of you in a couple of different areas.

First off, I am on a fairly high dose. My pills are 25mg and I started off doing 10mg/day and then went to a full pill. I'm aware that this is likely why my results have come hard and fast. I was thinking that it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to cut back in a couple of weeks time....back to 10mg/day and then maybe taper to 5mg/day for my last week. I am unsure how long I will run this cycle for. I'm feeling so awesome, although probably a little bloated, but that could also be unrelated to the anavar. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Additionally, I would like to know what I can expect when I end the cycle. I realize that there might be a bit of depression however I haven't read much about any physical changes. For example, will there be any change in muscle definition? What about my strength gains? Will I notice that my strength will suffer? I want to be able to prepare myself mentally if that might happen - also it will allow me to plan my programming accordingly.

Thank you so much in advance - I really appreciate the time!

kodiakGRRL's picture

First off that was a great write up and thank you I hope that newbs will read it and absorb it ..

How long will I run this cycle for

It is good to have a plan but I usually listen to my body and when I peak in strength and then start to break down is when I back off the cycle.. sometimes that means I end the cycle a week or two early and sometimes that means I run it a few weeks longer. I ve cycled enough that I can pretty much predict how long I can cycle and still feel good.

bloated

that probably is the anavar.. it seems to have that effect on women even though it does not aromatize

Everyone is a bit different. I expect that if you don't feel depression that you will feel a bit down.. tapering off will help alleviate some of that but some is going to be the natural course of things while your body adjusts to the lack of hormones.

As for the physical changes quite a bit of the depends on how and what you eat, your base conditioning prior to starting the cycle, and training. As you know, powerlifting is all about cycling and peaking. Obviously if you are not peaking then your strength is not going to be what it was when you were peaking. I have found that because I had a very good base and continue to eat as if I am still on cycle I have had minimal losses in size and minimal losses in strength, most of which are related to having peaked in strength and cycling back down to start another power cycle back up. ... So, yes you will notice a difference in strength but you should be able to attribute most of that to the natural cycle of things, no one can be at peak strength AlL the time. It has been my experience that for most people if they remember to eat to maintain the muscle mass they have put on the losses are greatly minimized, programming should be based on power cycling up and back down to prepare for competitions with the objective to remember that you take what your body gives you and train accordingly. Done properly you will peak while on cycle towards the end of the cycle and then back the training down to coincide with the training cycle
