Hematocrit
ad
I’m 4-5 weeks in on Test E 600mg per week along with Adex .25 eod and one week in with slupp-332 750 Ed. Tb500/bpc mix ed. Been on .5 Dutasteride eod. Feeling good making good gains. Anyways, I recently was reading that you cannot donate blood if taking dutasteride and this was unsettling for me. I’m getting bloods done soon. My hang up is if my hematocrit is elevated and or bp issues at any point then what are my options?

Ranger3252Red Cross will take double reds every few months. Only way to lower Hematocrit, or stop using AAS. It helps you and other people who need the blood. Just check your local blood drives walk in, sign up and donate. Dutasteride, are you prescribed this? If so your doctor can write a prescription for Red Cross to take your blood and dump it.
I dont recommend this method, but you can self phlebotomy, I’ve done it in the past, you can get everything on some medical sites.
My hematocrit is currently 55% on 500mgs of test. But I also live at altitude and natty levels were always 50%. I'm currently trying 2 gallons of water a day, electrolyte supplement, ip6 1000mg 2x a day, and I'm going to recheck my levels in 4 more weeks. If that doesn't work, I'll dump bloods. But 55% hematocrit at my elevation isn't unheard of even not no gear. I don't have any negative symptoms yet, BP is also good at 117/76.
AK80Baby aspirin every morning and before bed. 5mg of Cialis every day. More water. Maybe cut back on the amount of Dutasteride and donate anyway? Maybe switch from Dutasteride to Irwin Naturals Prosta Strong instead or cut back on the Duta and still take 1/2 of the Irwin?
Aspirin, hydration, switching away from the 5AR all reasonable. Losartan may also suppress erythroiesis to some degree and might be beneficial if your BP is also up. Metformin may also help, but could also go the other way, depending on the individual. Both of these are pretty easy to get your hands on. Another one that may have an impact is Hydroxyurea, but this one may be harder to find. Might be worth trying some of the supps AK80 is talking about before hoping on some of the other meds.
But just cutting back and donating anyway while still taking dutasteride is a no-go for me.
The reason they require a wash out period after taking a 5AR inhibitor before you can donate blood is because if a pregnant woman receives blood containing dutasteride or finasteride, it can cause birth defects in the baby. Try the other stuff and not that.
Thanks man! Hopefully alot more chime in here! Like I said I feel good but don’t like the feeling of not knowing my options should a problem arise.
