It kills me how many people do not read the rules before posting forums these days. I'm starting to think that it would be a good idea to make a multiple choice quiz on the rules that all new members have to pass before being allowed to post on open forum.
How difficult would it be to create and add a brief multiple choice quiz like this with questions like "True or False: It is OK to mention a source by name on open forum"
If everyone had to do this it would force people to actually read the rules and leave absolutely no excuses for when they are broken.
Just food for thought after seeing two consecutive forum topics that were blatantly against the rules this morning

I once suggested a few extra karma points for taking the above-mentioned quiz.
Not a bad idea either
LOL, I got docked karma points and told not to do it again, for trying out and proving that the theory had the desired result......... I used the first newbie that came to my attention as a guinea pig.

Unfortunately it is very difficult bro. Truthfully the vast majority don't have any trouble at all. Sadly the biggest trouble makers are the under 25 crowd, (nothing new). Due to a few that cannot take a hint I am forced to start cracking down on them.
I hear ya brother. Probably wouldn't stop them from breaking the rules anyway, just a random thought I had. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to be a mod on here sometimes
