cortico steroids... i know right not aas!

ad

Ok last week I came down with what I thaught was and is bronchitis. This makes it the second time in less than a year so a little concerned I decided to see the doctor. The doc diagnosed and started rattling off a shit ton of drugs for which I am normally inclined to decline beyond antibiotics. This time, however I have just started a new job that is proving quite challenging and I need to be there and I need to be shrp so I said ok to the albuterol inhaler, I said yes to the breathing treatment, I said yes to the prednisone and I even said yes to the symbicort inhaler. Now I'm no stranger to wild shifts in appetite due to aas combined with training loads but what I am experiencing with this cocktail has got my mind blown. I haven't been to the gym in a week and a half and my body is acting like I have just undergone a severe cut to make weight and now under load is trying to get back to walking around weight. My question is has anyone else experienced this kind of stimulation to a similar drug cocktail or infact has anyone ever use say prednisone to boost appetite while on cycle?

They compete with each other. Anabolics lower your cortisone One groups anabolic and one is catabolic. You won't get the gains you're looking for using corticosteroids to pack on mass.

That is what has me stumped. The weight gain will be there in line with caloric surplus, but it seems completely counterintuitive given the catabolic nature corticosteroids. I have also seen true mesomorphs gain quality mass while on t3 doses that are scary, which also seems weird. Makes me wonder about doses of anabolics versus catabolics, where is the line you would have to cross to truly make a dent in your anabolic state.

This is what I thaught I would hear. Thanks for the chime ins, I'm starting to wonder about week long prednisone cycles during aas cycles to push past appetite walls. Anybody got any thaughts? Also its worth noting that I suffer from crohns disease so prednisone is something that is not out of my risk comfort area in as far as risking infection is concerned.

why don't you just take an appetizer booster instead of prednisone?

Nothing I have ever tried has worked this well.

I got prescribed prednisone years ago, expect weight gain.. especially noticeable in the face. Takes a bit of time to get back to normal after discontinuing.

When I was younger I gained 10lbs in a quick run of prednisone. Shit makes my appetite insatiable
