+ 13 Coming at it from a different angle

ad

Hi guys..... i just spent time typing this comment in a thread in the cycle section, i think it may benefit a few more guys here who are struggling to actually eat what they have planned for their bulking diets, hopefully this shed a little more light on how to get those precious extra calories into your cake-holes LOL.

I,m late to the party here and the guys below have spoke about macros etc......

I would like to come from a different angle if i may because a lot of diets posted lately have me shirking and saying to myself "no way i could eat like that for 12wks or more! i mean i would probably struggle to eat what you list for 2/3 days.

What im saying is .. its fkn boring and dry!

Bulking should consist of plenty of nice soft boiled veg and sauces to give moisture and flavour, having food this way makes you want to eat it,, and you tend to look forward to the next meal instead of sitting there grinding that dry shit down your throat!.

Lets mix it up a bit... for instance get some oily fish like mackeral or sardines mixed in with the red meat and chicken meals.... again for taste and easy chewable moist food that slips down the hatch easily instead of chewing all day like a cow in a field..... mushrooms sauteed in a little water creates loads of juice for steaks /chicken fillets etc.

Too many folks are reading Muscle and fitness and get to thinking all foods! all meals! have to be ultra-clean............ wake up guys they are catering for cross fit jumping monkeys not Bodybuilders.

Hundreds and thousands of guys hang around that 200lb mark for years on end because they cant (or wont) eat enough!!.

What we must do to break eating plateaus is make our food EATABLE...... boring dry shit will not make us big........... but tasty, moist and easy to eat food WILL.

Fuckers that have a desire to break the 240 and above body-weights KNOW already how to make their food slide down...... and very few eat the same shit every day unless on a serious cutter.

Serious bulking is a mean undertaking and takes some fkn commitment and concentration to uphold the strict regime................ for me it is THE hardest part of Bodybuilding period.

Use your imagination and show some flair in the kitchen to turbocharge gains with some moisture and flavour..................... anyone willing to throw any moisture rich recipes up in here im all fkn ears guys..... i will eat just about anything and will try anything once lmfaooooooooo.

When i preach to these news that they should bulk for their first two years in bodybuilding they must think im talkin out my ass.

I'm actually taking a break from competing this year. It is just to hard to gain any appreciable mass when you are prepping for a comp for 5-6 months out of the year. That gives me about 1.5 years to put on another 20 lbs to my stage weight. Probably looking at at least 30+lbs scale weight so I am really going to have to put my money where my mouth is and buckle down. Always nice to hear tips about eating and bulking to help make it a reality.

Don't forget the Soba Noodles, trust me you'll be glad you found the tip. There in the asian food section. Great with some srimp scampi or pesto or olive oil or anything else you want or can add to it. I think they are 360 calories per seving opposed to pasta which is 210. The volume is the same and don't get the, I gotta go take a nap feeling after.

You hit it on using them pre due to the easy digestion. They cook on 6 min so you are aware.

Great post brother thanks for the extension on the info to get folks imagination flowing to "create" a meal that they really want to eat instead of "make" that boring shitty meal again and again.

I never see fruits in any diet plans here apart from the gotdamn banana lol................ yeah eggs! hard as fuck for me to shift without some sauce.......... and if they chose and use the right spices they can jack- up their thermogenics without even knowing............... its endless bro where we can go with flavour.

Glad it got your juices flowing to post bro.................... Bro Fist

6oz of fresh pineapple with every meal bro... ive bone it for donkeys years for the digestive bromelain, i never buy supps i prefer natural whole foods every time.

Mixed berries with skyr................. i am obsessed with that stuff, protein count is higher than most powders gram for gram.

and i agree.... the gear posts here lately are totally brain numbing.......... we all know its the Kitchen that creates dreams........... glad you guys jumped in to help me preach it to the masses LOL

im getting gut pangs just reading this thread................... Smile
