Can clomid be used while you are on cycle just to stimulate sperm count? would there be amy drawback to useing clomid while on a high dose of test just for that reason?

Yes it can. But only if it is taken since the beginning of the cycle. It can prevent the testicular atrophy but not reverse it. The mechanism of action is not unequivocal resolved but it is highly likely because of the LH and FSH stimulating effects of clomifen.
The dosage for this is purpose is 50mg ed or eod. The most common sideeffects are skin allergy (small pimples back, shoulder, forearms), flushes, Depression, insomnia, Tension, impaired Vision (visual snow, espescially when eyes closed), Nausea, vomiting. Another important sideeffect is clomifens effect on the psyche. Many athletes Report of pms-like symptoms like depressions.

why only if taken from begining of cycle.. i am a little more then mid cycle, i couldnt start taking it right now only for raiseing sperm count? just for that only?
It prevents the testicular atrophy but it cannot undo it. If you start taking it now, sperm count reduction and the atrophy will stop from now on but they won't get bigger and the sperm count will not increase. But it'll Keep it at ist current Level.
To prevent the test from shutting you down its recommended to use HCG during the cycle to keep your natty production going and stop your testies from shrinking.
i dno about running clomid in cycle, this is used for PCT mainly for this reason, to help your natty production come back. So it might work yes, but dont quote me i may be wrong.

Then why do people use it mostly in cycle? Thats what i've always read
i am concerned mainly with sperm count only just useing it on cycle for that porpose to raise sperm count not test levels. im trying to find out if this would be ok to use for that while running test at high levels
