Shoulder pain

ad

I took 6 weeks off from the gym, the first day back doing shoulders and by the second excercise i have a sharp pain in my right shoulder again. Do most of you just keep working through it and keep doing shoulders week after week with the pain? or do you go light every week or avoid shoulder altogether?

Go to physical therapy. I have a minor labrum tear, rotator cuff fray and ac joint adema and pt helped immensely. They worked on muscle imbalance in my shoulders and back and I'm able to work out virtually pain free. Anytime I feel pain, I drop the weight. I hadn't worked out my shoulders for months because of this but now I'm able to. Just have to be patient and smart don't push it, it's not worth it. I won't raise my weight too much even if I think I can. I don't want a setback. Oh and make sure your form is solid.

I go at about 75% with all upper body exercises because of my shoulder. If you really injure it, you'll be out of commission. Be careful with it. Do some rotator cuff exercises as a warm up and between sets on chest day and back day. I have this problem but I don't push through it. As soon as I notice the pain increase, I stop.

You most likely have a rotator cuff injury. It is hard to say whether it's got a small tear or whether it's just swollen, but you definitely should NOT work through the pain... Take my advise and have it looked at buy a physiotherapist or it will only get worse mate!

x2, you do not want a serious tear in a rotator cuff so working through it is not an option. Get it looked at asap and work on other body parts whilst you're waiting to see someone.

Blast the legs hard and heavy bro.. this will keep the mass on your upper body and may even give you a growth spurt due to the central nervous system shock... keep protein sky high through healing stage to speed up recovery and maybe add a little deca into your current cycle for some joint relief.

Stay well away from drying compounds winny etc for the near future until everything is fixed properly ok.

Deca + high protein = heal joints!

5000mg fish oil daily, Shark cartilage, glucosamin... ALL very good for joints!
