C spine injury
Hey gang. Well im about 9 weeks into whats known as a degenerated disk at C6/7. In plain English the disk, or some of it has smushed out from between my neck bones. What has pushed out is pressing on the nerve causing extream pain down my left shoulder and all the way down to my finger tips. I should add that this didn't happen over night. Iv lived a heck of a life and this has happened befor. Its never been this bad but it has been every 2 years or so. Iv been threw the xrays mri,s PT and now im on my second cortisone injection. This has truly been a life changer. as of now im able to work out with very light weight and also I stick with a lot of cable work. Im left with a left pec latt and tri that's almost noticeably smaller then my right, and extreamly weaker. poor me poor me,LOL. I should also tell ya, for those that don't know I suffered a life changing injury to my back 13 years ago. that plays no part of whats going on now, I only mention it for the people that know me personaly. It seems that time is my only cure for this problem, How ever I was wondering if any of you guys have ever delt with this or anything close and how you managed to overcome. This shit has really given my a body blow and has me border line crazy. Id really appreciate any input from you guys if ya know of anything that would help, thx guys.

bigwillysent bro
FR me my man. I have plenty of info I can share and can answer any questions.
bigwillysent my freind
Been living the same nightmare now for years, can't lift my arms above my head, my neck is stiff and in pain 24/7, been trying everything, now considering surgery.
One thing you should consider is clay treatment, been at it for a week now and didn't feel as good in months, it's cheep, no risk, you put the clay on the area (1/2 inch to 3/4 thick) cover it with cabage leafs, seal everythig with plastic and medical tape you sleep with it, seen improvements the first time i did it, can find tons of research on internet.
Good luck my friend!
I have a degenerated C6/C7 exactly the same. At one point the disc became herniated and impinged the nerve that fired my right arm, pec and lat and these atrophied like 50%. I went for cortisone epidurals and on the 2nd epidural they punctured my Dula(sp) which is the cavity around your spine that holds fluid that your spine and brain all sit in. Anytime you sit up it feels like your brain is being squeezed in a vice. If you lay down everything is perfectly normal. Even though this only happens one in every 200-300 epidurals, it sucked enough that I said hell no and went on pain pills. Got hooked on narcos and was eating 15-20 a day and I finally turned myself into my doc and he put me on Suboxone. The suboxone has not only helped my opiate withdrawals but actually seems to help my neck pain a lot. Currently they said I should stop lifting all together or finesse lift if any at all. Pull ups and anything over the head causes pretty bad pressure in that area and my overall strength will never be what it once was.
bigwillyI keep coming back to this, man im sorry bro.
bigwillydamn bro that's terrible. man I don't even know what to say. im sorry for ya bro. in your case maybe the surgery would be best.
bigwillyFYI I did get an inversion table and it dose seem to help slightly. problem is my head don't weigh enough to tug my neck vertabrea apart,LOL
L4-5 annuar tear and a few bulging discs here. Doesn't really effect me much tho. It did for the first year and a half or so but it's been pretty ok for the last year and a half. Give It some time bro. Spine injures suck so bad cause they really suck at fixing them. The success rate of surgerys is super low and the chance of ending up worse then becfore the surgery is extremely high . Stay strong bro I know these things suck. Pm me if you wana know more details on what I've done to help it.
bigwillyI will dog thx man
L5s1 spondleistsis ( have no clue on proper spelling) and three bulging disks cervical and thoracic. Time and chiropractic care I found to be helpful. Pain pills I found that while they help a bit in the short term actually made me more sensitive to the pain, amongst causing other issues. Aleve I find helps to
bigwillyim very, very awhere of those other issues my friend.
Yeah def a slippery slope my friend, I did however find relief from a chiropractor, maybe worth looking into. I hope you find a way to manage it brother, back pain def sucks.
