+ 1 blood sugar question

ad

Ok guy's I need your advise. I ran my first ever cycle last summer with great success and I was look to run another cycle very soon. Before starting a cycle I never had a problem with my sugar bottoming out. Research I have done says for my age a good blood reading should be 90-120 but for the past few months its has been dropping as low as 28. At times ive been pretty scared and come close to going to the ER but was able to get it back up to rhe norm with Orange juice and a few candy bars. I need to go to the Dr and have it looked at. Im not saying it was the gear that done it by any means it might hve been an underlieing problem that just happin to come to the surface. Any of you guy's have this problem running gear help me out if you can thanks.

You definitely need to go to the doctor as this could legitimately be fatal. Also, it's probably not a bad idea to pick up some glucose tablets in the mean time. They are specifically designed for those who suffer from low blood sugar and can raise your glucose levels very rapidly when they start to tank. Good luck and please keep us all posted as you work through this.

Heh Shaun, I've had a similar issues on a few occasions starting late last year and as recently as a month ago. First I couldn't say what my blood sugar levels where, defiant feeling of going hypo. Cold sweats, light headed, disoriented. Feeding myself sugar balanced me back out. Went to my doctor for a full work up thinking maybe an onset of adult diabetes, so far we are both stumped my blood work came back within range on most everything. I say this because my estrogen levels where a few points above normal along with my red blood cell count but nothing to raise flags or point to a conclusion concerning my episodes. I know this my friend, if you're reaching the 30's with your sugar levels this can and will put you into hypoglycemic shock, don't wait, immediately seek medical attention and get this figured out. My kid brother is insulin dependent and I've seen him fish out on the deck more than once, if his girlfriend hadn't walked in the door just seconds after his last episode years ago he wouldn't be with us today. Just trying to make you see how real this is. Best wishes and keep us informed...

No hiding meaning guys. My next door neighbor just graduated from nursing school. I told her how I had been feeling and she said it sounded like my sugar. I went to the local pharmacy and boughr a cheap meter so that when I felt sick I could check it to see if thats was the problem. My sugar has only bottomed out realy low onlt twice and I should have went to Er but I guss I was scared to be told I had a sugar problem at only 36. Since my post I have made an apt with my Dr to get checked out. I was only asking the question to make sure it was just a underlined problem and not comeing from the gear. I would never mess with insulin im not that foolish just to let yall know. Has this happin to anyone eles after starting gear.

28 blood sugar is very dangerous, even potentially fatal. Hypoglycemia is in no way related to AAS unless of course you are fasting or starving yourself and doing tons of cardio. Anyway, sounds to me like you have some type of increased insulin release issue. There are some issues with the pancreas such as Insulinomas that could cause this. You final should see your doc ASAP and in the meantime I would be sure to eat every 2 hours and keep small snacks with you at all times. Also, stay off any gear or supplements until your healthy, that's just a smart thing to do IMO.

Listen to Gearhead!!! You're in a Hypoglycemic state! You need ot find the cause and then monitor it carefully. Hypogycemic coma's are fatal!

I'm not trying to scare you; this is your life! GO TO A DOC!

Tell you a secret about low blood sugar. Stop eating and drinking sugar or bread or any fast burning carbs. As in don't eat or drink anything with sugar starting first thing in the morning. Switch to complex carbs only. I have low blood sugar and it use to be a nightmare of up and down all day long. I'd have to eat sugar all day to keep it up. But I found if I didn't start the day with any, everything stayed fine throughout the day. So now I just don't eat fast burning carbs. You can have a little sugar like in peanut butter or if you decide to eat a processed meat or some cheeses have a tiny amount of sugar but it won't make any difference. It when you eat a couple of slices of white bread or something that it will pound you. Orange juice was the worst for me. Would almost pass out and hour after drinking it. And I love oranges and grapefruits but I just had to give them up.

First, most people don't have blood glucose meters. Why do you have one bro? You definitely need to see a doc ASAP. Do you live alone? Because at that low a glucose level (28) you are at risk of passing out. You can die from this bro. If that happens someone should call emergency services but they could give you a glucagon injection that would revive you. I really would see an endocrinologist for an exam for something like this rather than a family doctor. This is an ultra serious issue bro. I have never heard of anabolic steroids causing this directly. There are other medications that can cause this. Are you taking any Rx meds? Then there are a long list of liver and kindey problems that can cause this plus a bunch of other stuff.
