Bad ventroglute pip
ad
I pinned the ventroglute for the first time Sunday night and I know it's vergin muscle but I've never had pain this bad before. I still can barely walk with pain killers but the weird thing is that the whole ventroglute is Really Cold for some reason. Does that mean I might have hit a nerve or injected too close to a nerve? I have bad pain in my knee and all down the front of my leg. Could someone help and tell me whats happening? I did research and I know I hit the right spot on the ventroglute I used a 25g 1inch.

In my experience, when I pin the vg with oil that has a high guaiacol content, my vg gets achy and gets a hard lump for a couple days. Just something to think about.
jasonhi use ventroglute religiously love the spot (first time was scary) id say you were little off on the location its about a 2 by 2 area and ive been off before and defiantly felt it (hit nerve or something) never had bad pip when injected in right area (even gear thats ruff in other spots) and i use a 25 guage 1 inch, does fine for me. pm me and i might be able to give some location help remember think hip above waist line
Can you hit your sciatic nerve if you pin in the ventroglute?
WithdrawlAbsolutely not. Look up a sciatic nerve diagram online and you'll see how it runs down your butt and legs.
Rustyhooker25 x 1 is too short. Are you sure its deep in muscle to to very outer ventro? Sounds like you went subq and/or too damn close to your sciatic.
Ventro...25 x 1.5 or 23 x 1.5. Spotinjections.com .
Do you pin ventroglutes alot?
RustyhookerYes. Last cutter was hitting 4cc/eod. Gotta use many spots. Sounds like you went too shallow, possible subq,, a nerve etc. Ventroglute makes it hard to hit sciatic directly if the person pinning is familiar with anatomy. Your sciatic runs down the centerline of your butt and up into the sciatic notch. I have had irritating oils before where the ventro swelled towards the sciatic. Theres lymph systems that also can get agitated. I use a 1.5 and go to the outer last inch of ventro and down from pelvic girdle bout 2 inches. Aprirate and slow plunger. I also hit several spots on glutes as well. Spotinjections website is helpful.
Hey Rusty, I know this is an old thread but pertinent. My left ventro glute swelled a little and I think it's swelling onto the sciatic causing pain. Couldn't even walk yesterday but it's better today. On a little sust now. You think injected too high and the prop pip'd me?
RustyhookerSust does give some pip. Especially if high mg sust. Hot pad helps a lot. So does blending. Sust imo is an advanced oil as i advise ed or eod with sust.
Hands on hips with thumbs towards butt. Flex your glutes. That upper outer part is where i pin. Bout inch below the top and inch inside of outer edge. Irritate the sciatic will suck.
I know it didn't go that deep because I could feel it but the sciatic nerve isnt in your ventroglute tho
Terephthalic Pt...I never liked ventroglute. I'd always get pip which would cripple my leg workouts. Granted it was my first cycle, but I just stopped pinning there. I had a lot better luck with delts, glutes, and quads.
If you have access to a hot tub. Let the jet beat right on and around the spot for a good ten fifteen min. tll hurt a little at first but will feel better in a min or two. Then try to stretch and massage it. Do this morning and night if its convenient.
Whenever I've had real bad pip with a quad shot I sit in a hot bath and massage the area for a good 15 mins and its usually much better afterwards
Yea ive had a heat pad on it and it feels better after but in the morning the pain comes back.
WithdrawlWhat compounds did you inject and what mg/ml concentrations are they? If you have a lot of swelling it could put pressure on nerves.
I did .5cc of test 400 and .5cc of deca 200
WithdrawlSwelling shouldn't be too bad with that gear. There aren't many nerves in the ventro glute but maybe you got unlucky. Hopefully someone else can chime in on this.
Have you ever pinned the ventroglute?
I heard you can do like 2 or 3cc in it but I heard it was not painful so I'm shocked that it is. I went real deep in with the 1 inch needle but I can't tell that I have lot of swelling from just looking at it. Ive had a heat pad on it all day and massaging it.
WithdrawlI've done 3cc many times in that location. It has always been pretty painless. It's a good place to pin, that's why hospitals use the ventro glute a lot. The fact that the pain runs down your leg makes me think it's nerve related. If the pain starts to go away over time you're good. If it gets worse then you have a problem. Don't worry yourself over it just yet or you'll go crazy. Like I said before, sometimes we just get unlucky and have a bad shot.
