There is absolutely no need for REPS (read: shills) around here. Eroids.com is not your typical BB forum, either respect that or cancel your account.
The only way for a source to gain ranks here, is through legit community reviews and votes, certainly not by artificially creating hype across the website or to let REPS advertise their sugar daddies in pics, reviews and forum sections.
Recent bans are closely linked to this very problem, where certain users were intentionally "bumping" SI threads with useless comments. AND LIKE I'VE WARNED THE PARTICULAR SRC SI THREAD OWNER BEFORE, I'M TELLING ALL SRCES HERE AGAIN: SOURCES CAN BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING CLIQUES WITH INTENTION TO OVERHYPE THEIR BUSINESS.
Pro REP arguments does not hold much water, stock/payment/shipping questions are answered well enough by the community.
SRC that can not afford to interact with their users, due to lack of time, energy or language barriers, will need to fix their problems anyway they can but definitely not by buying out community members.
I expect all "REPS" to have their name changed by the end of the week, contact me or a mod to get your old name back.
No a rep is not a salesman! ARL decided to bring in reps simply because he doesn't do Boards. He's never on. He wanted a presence on his page and wanted his customers to have a new easy way of communicating. We are there to be a presence, answer questions ,assist with issues and basically be a liaison between the customer and the source do that he can DO HIS JOB IN PEACE! We are not salesman (not at ARL anyway). Some other sources who are active on the board probably don't need all the reps. I'm sure it will help any source to have reps but especially those who are far too busy to be bullshitting on eroids! The customers love the ability to communicate so easily. Anyone who's been doing this long enough knows how hard it can be to communicate directly with sources. We bridge the gap! My Job personally is to answer questions about products, procedures, assist with mistakes and be an active presence for ARL. ARL is never here so we are. Salesman ? Couldn't be more wrong!
Wowww...I literally typed up a forum topic "source reps"...? Wtf. But I never finished it. I was thinking...going into some supp intro pages turned me off to two suppliers cuz I felt like they were pushing products. I like eroids, its aimpartial site, I rely on the feedback from other bros...not someone affiliated with the company. I duno I GET it...but the way its being used and what its turning into is not cool. I was like not recognising some guys and wondering what were their credentials offering advice on cycles and shit...I dunno its kinda sketchy how five guys wait in the supp intro like raymore and flanagan salesmen jumping at the first customer trying to gas up their products. Its going in the opposite direction of what makes eroids great, honest reviews and info from guys who have nothing to gain other than just helping a brother out. I'm glad other ppl thought the same as I did...I think if those companies were smart they would limit reps to PMs only, for real it makes u look like used car sales lot. I don't want a rep to tell me the juice is good, I want a regular dude who is running it or has run it to tell me....now I know all the reps are prolly customers but the newbs don't, for example..I'm interested in monkey brand test so I ask in their supp intro and I get a response from five dudes and if their eroids name is "MONKEYrep" and they are like yea its fire, its best on the market...I'm not guna believe them I'm guna think they r just trying to sell me their company's product.
Well you used the term monkey so I sure you don't mean us but we don't push anything on our page. We simply assist you guys. That's it. And just about every review I've seen for arl since I've been a rep has praised our communication. Mission accomplished!
Myobolix-Pharma-I think this is the farthest thing from the truth.. the only way a rep would be a salesman is if they went onto other pages and pushed people to a specific source. Which they don't. I havent seen ANY reps posting or suggesting people buy from the specific lab they are "repping." Honestly, you'd be crazy to deny the fact that the high rank members dont get PM's about where they get their gear, or who they use..I dont think theres anything wrong with that..as long as they arent on the open forum source promoting!
Let me help you see this from the other side of the fence: Waking up in the morning, you have new orders to process, emails to answer, about 30+ PM's to answer, a supplier page to tend to, orders to ship, accounting of funds, organization measures.. and multiple other things to do in order to remain safe. Hell, it takes me an hour + just to prep the information BEFORE orders begin to get boxed. If there were 48 hours in a day, then I would agree with it not being necessary.. but the time it takes to operate on a satisfactory level, its pertinent.
-members are loyal to certain sources, its not hard to tell.. so now having people with "rep" names, its more respectable to KNOW why they are answering questions. When I wake up in the morning I have IM's from my reps with specific order #'s, questions, and so forth.. it helps me keep organized and honestly saves me hours during my day that I need to spend to keep things running smoothly.
Someone mentioned below how Rep's are a way for a source to slip out the back door.. im not quite sure how this makes ANY sense.. I would think the reps would be he first thing to signify a source is slipping out the back door. Figure, the reps are members here..not our butt buddies in real life. The rep would be the first one to know if a source hasnt been around or if they havent heard from them.. im not arguing the statement, thats just my logical opinion.
Reps have 0 special powers.. they're simply there to help people.. I think this is better than suppliers intro being overthrown by homo talk and conversations of nonsense. SO if reps remain professional and dont step out of line, I dont see what the big deal is.. mine get emails about their orders, cycle help, etc. A rep is no different than a member that answers questions, minus their name.. because like I said.. they have no special abilties.
bottom line is; if rep's remain respectful of the boards rules and guidelines, as well as to the members.. and follow the "no source promoting" rules.. I honestly cant think of one problem having them. I know its harder for you guys to see the purpose of having 3 reps.. but when you're a source on multiple boards.. I would swan dive into an empty pool if I didnt.
I guess the big picture is; Members dont see a point in sources having reps.. and us sources view them as something to make our lives easier in aspects that the members cannot understand. Agree to disagree.

This is on point. ARL brought us I because he's never able to get on. He's too busy. There are sources on here who are already very active themselves and now have reps. The kids thing, well I personally wouldn't want anyone with limited experience representing me but I'm not a source. Is definitely becoming like a virus on here. I won't argue that. But the way the post was started I didn't like. I am in no way shape or form a salesman. I don't do any pushin of products. I simply answer questions and help these guys communicate with the source. That's it! A liaison. Smh
As long as it is all done in the open and NOT hidden in PM, it stands a chance of working,.......taking it to PM's is like walking into the Used Car Saleman's office and shutting the door. Anything said or promised there,.............may NOT be on the final contract.

Yea once I started seeing all those reps, I got nervous and immediatly crossed them off the list of possible sources...its fishy. I don't think you need ppl pushing ur shit. Eroids works based on reputations. EROIDS WORKS BASED ON REPUTATIONS, its impartial, I want rviews from someone who doesn't have any interest at stake...keeps em honest.
Its not impartial, Its as partial as it gets. People make recommendations based on who and what they have used in most cases. Or read on someones reviews or intro page. The reps as far as I know are simply answering questions on "their sources" in most cases on general topics or inventory stuff. "Does the website update my order status", "does he have Prop in stock". Would you go on someones source page to ask who's gear you should use? Hell no, by the time you are there you made your decision. But I do see that a lot of open questions on an intro page "Did anyone use X, how is it?" some times you get 5 diferent answers. Find a supplier who you trust with gear you know is good and be happy that you have a place like Eroids you can get this information and selection at your fingertips.

No one PM'd me about such matters but I was thinking if a highly rated member, sneeze (KMC) sneeze had an issue with a "new" source and wanted to make their life harder they could try to get their help pulled or raise suspicion about their motives. (Knowingly)

My 2 cents, I will not stand firm on either side but I will in fact tell the story of the rep role. I was taken on for my understanding on how some things work. of course I could be a 13 year old girl behind the computer screen telling you this or that but in fact what would that matter? The task is only asked of you to answer certain questions. We are not supposed to say how you should pct or what products to purchase. That is left to research. When you have compiled a list of relevant questions you send it to the supplier. this speeds up the process of communication because generally the supplier is answering the reps p'ms before the random question like "how nice is your packing skills?" We then take the information compiled and distribute it accordingly to each who have inquired. this gets the questions answered in a timely manner. "free gear?" What free gear. This is a favor that I expect no "free" gear in for return. Nor have I received any or asked. I just like to have my questions answered in a good time frame. Hence why I then took on helping a supplier do that. I figured im on here enough as is why not be put to work. If BFG so chooses I would gladly relinquish the role of a rep in following accordance to eroids rules. I will not fight for the job but it does give me something to do. This was not meant to argumentative by all means and I have respect for everyone of you guys this is just the side of the story I had yet to be seen touched on in this thread.
Found that this may make or break eroids, already getting hard to get good advice due to hustlers with normal accounts now this i loved eroids because it was a group of lifters helping eachother even sources giving good advice but now seems like a bunch of kids trying to make a buck on the back of the good rep this board has
I think the rep idea is a good one if used correctly. Questions like how do I order,what that gear dosed at,when will that out of stock product be back in,I been running your test E for 2 week and cant feel anything why not, ECT... there are tons of stupid questions that are asked that do nothing but fill up email and waste a bunch of time. If a real question is asked of a rep all they should do is turn to the supplier and get the answer and be a middle man. I agree everything should be answered in open forum not just for safty sake but if the answer is in forum maybe it wont be asked as many times.

1.to make excuses for late shipments
2.to tell you the product is good
3.help a source move up (hype)
4.to do what the source don't feel like doing

How about 5-.... helping a new guy with Cycle, PCT, routine, supplement advice, or pointing them in the right direction? Helping provide the source time to tend to orders, and business.

Coming from someone who had to wait 3-4 weeks for Frankie to straighten out his situation due to answering pm after pm about when he's gonna open and whats in this and will you have orals soon. Yea I think a lot of sources could be helped by reps taking care of he monotonous shit while they handle business! "In a legit way", someone now leading someone to your favorite source without them knowing you are associated with it? Legit? The only thing I am doing is trying to explain a different view point of a reps responsibility. Again I am helping people who are already on the intro page, not leading them there!!!
