+ 6 Sumer EBC - Summer Trenathon - 4th Place!!!

Take my body to the next level!!!!
Was looking for 260 lbs, brought that down to a more realistic 245 lbs. (Might get the 260 after talking with Viking)
Increase strength and size! 1000 lb Triple Total, Bench, Squat, Deadlift (just about there right now)!!!

Edit 9/26/12 - Deadlift 475, Squat 385, Bench 285 = 1145!!!!!

Won't be happy til I break 300 Bench! New Goal - 1200 lbs

Oh yeah, win another EBC!!!!!!!

Final Edit 10/13/12 got up to 241 but didn't like the look, backed off on the Cals and ended at 230. Dropped about 4-5% BF according to the caliper test!

Came up almost 200lbs on the Triple, didn't make final goal but kicked the shit out of the original! LOL ;-P

Yea Baby, 4th Place! Gotta love that, looking at the monsters I was up against!!!

Sounds just like me and mel. her toes twist out after every rep... or did. what i did was take her back to a broom handle and made her do like 3-4 sets body weight warmup with me stand over her helping and correcting. then go to work out. NO WEIGHT TILL FORM IS PERFECT!

From my experience what she is doing is caused from fear of placeing weight on heals and off of toes. thats whay bar sits on her neck funny.... in a way that puts balance on her toes. to correct this maybe you could try standing behind her going through motion with her till she is secure that she wont fall backwards.Also if safety racks are avalable maybe have her let the bar rack on safety racks so she willl see she is perfectly safe.

Chest is tonight, going after the 300 flat first. I did legs last night, increased my squat by 30lbs to 345 x 3, then added another 50lbs to the sled 590 x 6 (3 deep). Once I get the 300 Bench I'm switching routines to emphasize size.

Probably still a good workout. Where on your forearm is the issue near the elbow or wrist?
My wrists use to give me hell so I have been wrapping them and listening to them if they start to act up so all is good.

By elbow, Dr said it was tennis elbow last year. They light up on both arms now! and I have bicipital tendonitis on the right. Sucks getting older! I have to stay strict and even then if the weight is too high they scream at me.

I know that you are on a mission to keep move heavier weights but you may need to back off the heaviest weight and add in more reps. You will still pack on muscle with a solid diet plan behind you. Focus on your wheels with the heavier weights until your arms are ready to rock again.

That is my new routine, 3D Mass, modified 4X, using negative accentuated, pre exhaustion and supersets. The Legs and Deadlift are still solid, but the forearm tendons limit most everything else. I was just trying to use the weight increase momentum as motivation, I have set many personal lifetime bests on this run. Guess its time to move to mass which is what this comp is about anyway.

Thanks Fast! I'll get the 300 eventually, Just have to do it smarter instead of just manhandling it! LOL ;-P
I have some Bench routines I can follow to add that last few lbs. It just takes time, but it will be clean and not just dependent on the ancilliaries!

No doubt you'll do it! It's always funny/odd how ya hit a plateau the outta nowhere it'll be surpassed by a good 5-10lbs.

Switched routines, 3D mass, Positions of flexion. 10-12 reps 3 exercises per body part, mid, stretch, contraction. Seems light but I have to Deload to recover. We'll see how it goes. How you doing Bro?

And a couple pokes from your uncle! LOL ;-P A few months back I gave him one of those 1 handed tape measures and showed him how to use it. I was just finishing a cycle and he was finishing PCT, I was 17 3/4 and he was 17 1/4 he did not like that! LOL ;-P

Yea the tables are turning once again! We grew up together 5 years apart lots of hanging out and bars. He got bigger than me eventually. Now he's 6'5" 265, I'm 6'2" 233 this morning. I'm sneaking back up on him! LOL ;-P

On my Dad's side, I had uncles and cousins at 7'. Waiting to see whats gonna happen with my youngest, currently 15, 5'8" 174lb. Can't get him interested in lifting! :-{

Yea Boyyyy! Upped my Deadlift Max tonight to 455!!!! Man I'm loving Deadlifts and Squats, the weight keeps going up, and NO PAIN!!!

I got a lot to do today, but I'm gonna try to get legs in today also. The gym closes early on weekends, and we have a Christening tomorrow so...... Just gotta make it fit. Don't know if I'll be able to increase the squat today, last week's was a "max" effort. I think I'll just try to increase the reps today!

Thanks Gfit! I ended up increasing reps today and I feel good.

Family activities along with a Holiday weekend make it tough for us iron movers to get everything in but we just make it happen.

I agree with you keeping the same weight for your squats this week but increasing the reps.

Yea its tough, I just went down to see my sister, she's only got a few days left, Cancer, she just gets drops of some kind of oral heroin/morphine now to manage pain, no food, barely swallows anything they squirt in her mouth. Just lays there and moans. I'd rather see it be over!
Tomorrow its my wife's, niece's, child's, Christening! Circle of life!

I remember you recommending that before on the reps. I was looking at some powerlifting routines where you state your max and it plots an 8 week routine to increase 10-20 lb. Who has that kind of time! LOL ;-P
