RustyhookerHope you heal up fast! Few fam members had theirs removed and adjusted diets. It sounds though like the pain alone would deter the want for the greasy food. Like Pavlov dog .
Hell yeah I know what you mean by the coal mine comment. Been a miner for 11 years now other than the bathroom issue it's a good way to make a living.
Hats off to you sir!
Two of the hardest jobs on the planet........
Much respect for you Sam ;)
Damn brother that sucks. I'd die without burgers. That's my crack! You getting it out soon?
End of the month.
Good luck. I hope that shit helps. Pain is bad bro. I just had my lower back fused like 7 months ago now. That shit was rough.
My mom has the same issue. If she eats any kind of junk food and she’s in agony. Get that thing out for sure. My moms insurance sucks so she’s been putting it off. Not a way to live imo
My girl reigned me in last week thank god. I was ready to crush a couple five guys double bacon cheeseburgers with two sides of Cajun fries.
Ended up with chicken kabobs. Can’t place a price on a supportive woman.
RustyhookerSometimes ya just gotta hit a day off for mental stability. Shes a keeper!! Plus kabobs are damn tasty.
Damn Rusty your killing me! I have to eat a burger for lunch. Im done! Got a question for ya as well. Sent you a fr.
With some green chile yum
RustyhookerHavent tried that yet...hmmm. put that on my list of future foods.
Where I live there is chile on everything haha.. It is good
RustyhookerI like spicy heat. Wifey makes chile colorado etc from scratch. Sweat n chow. Lol.
Nice my grandpa used to make that, much like asado
RustyhookerCrock pot sure makes it easy. Slow cook and eat it the next night.
Yep, I did it. I failed today. Damn, checking in on here is going to be my downfall. No more burgers Rusty lol.
RustyhookerI had 2 this weekend. Usually i george foreman cook em so theyre lean meat but i went outta town and splurged. Extra cardio this week! Lol
Lol you aint kidding. The foreman grill has been one of my long time allies. I love that thing. Yeah I had a 3/4 lb triple bacon for lunch from this good little spot by my work. I fell into a coma afterwords lmao. Tomorrow morning I'll be hitting the treadmill for an extra 15 min at least.
RustyhookerLately also been grilling chicken breasts on foreman as well. Either for chicken sandwich or chicken salad depending on my daily nutrition .
Try schnitzel on the foreman! Grease is squeezed out and the flavor still there. Thin cut pork, shake n bake and done in under 20 mins
That can be eaten on a prep frequently if the right ingredients are used
RustyhookerYessir! Yummy too
Mind sharing your recipe?
I used to eat steak burger's. Zero carbs apart from the burger bun according to the the label. Just fat and protein, and whatever a slice of cheese is.
Hey. Off season to get that meal in. I don't think it's such a bad thing here and there man. Each of those food items have a good amount of vitamins, proteins and minerals Etc, but I think it's what it is cooked in that makes it so destructive towards the vascular, cholesterol and fat storage etc, but what do I know, I am not at all an expert; I'm really a big-time amatuer, and I'm now learning about diet, but I do know one thing for sure, We Become What We Eat. And large fat and grease is passed through the heart before being processed through the liver. The food is.fine I would think depending how it's cooked is the only significance but the greasier the better
RustyhookerYessir! Lean patties and cook on the george foreman grill. Makes it better overall. Squeezes out the grease but still has flavor. I eat so much chicken that its a tasty break. Lol
RustyhookerMore and more chicken. 8 weeks til pix.
Walmart has those boneless, skinless chx breast @ $1.99 a lb; I would think these prices are similar nation wide if it in the US anyway. The packs are ~16 inches long. Takes 4 frying pans to cook a whole pack which is ~5 lbs or so, 8 pc of breast each pack and around 30-40g of protein per breast=200 or so grams of protein per pack @ $10 give or take a few pennies; I dove through 5 lbs the other night before last unable to sleep and I'll tell you the fullness that I felt the next day. I buy 12 now to get through the month which isn't shit after hearing what Phil Health does to his Chx breast.
Each sitting it's easier to put down~200 grams of protein down, and easy to do when you got the time...I just cooked another pack an hour ago and a large pan of pasta, but mixing it with mixed vegetables or rice and I keep a large pan of rice to mix with chx as well. 15 lbs of chx a week seems like a lot but 5 lbs goes down quick over 5-6 hours just nibbling. Lol.
I would watch Ronnie Coleman eat whole stacked plates of chx breast with BBQ in his videos...always eating chx. But I'm studying more responsible eating. I've always eaten a good amount on good days, but just not balanced or all that healthy all the time. Rock on man
unreal89I cant eat walmart chicken some funky tasting stuff texture is weird and alot of grissel at least the yellow 4-6lb packs havent had much luck with any chicken lately though.
RustyhookerBulk chicken has been odd. And name brand is awesome but then your up to beef pricing.
Pork lately has been super cheap and so easy for mexi style meals.
I figure it boils down to how it's cooked and with what. Why not throw in some pork every week. Pork has quality protein from wat I've seen just got to get the right pork. Tongue or feet or the like. Lol
RustyhookerCooking it does change things a lot. The push for all the free range, gmo, non gmo, etc has just cost us buyers the cash.
unreal89Yeah i gotta switch it up even payed 3.99 a lb for better chicken and it was worse fail!
It's called woody chicken. The texture is caused from rapid growth. If you can find smaller breasts the texture will be right.
unreal89That sounds about right got some frozen tenderloins that are alot better atleast there edible.
Couldn't sleep last night so I thawed 2, 7oz packs of Tilapia, and Fried them in a Bit of butter and mixed it with some pasta and a can of kernel corn.
Can't handle Salmon ever, no matter how it's cooked
RustyhookerMakes sense! It was just odd to have to switch 3 brands in a year. Lol!
....
Who knows what to buy anymore, especially if you like to consume egg whites. Those organic brown eggs are too damn expensive. I got 2, 5 dozen boxes of those medium grade A white eggs for just over $6 each, normaly $10-11, but then I'm like what's the point. I always think it through bit keep buying them anyway. Healthier to be cooked rather than dinking raw whites. Lack of research on my part. I'm like, As Long As I Fn get these meals in, so wats the problem, lol
unreal89I get the 5 dozen eggs for 6$ cause i went with brown eggs and spent more and found blood in one within the first dozen so back to the cheap eggs at that point.
And what ever the hell ur eating and doing is working. You are just packing it on from this current pic compared to your original EBC pic. Holy Moly, night and day. A major threat in this comp at that growth rate
unreal89Thanks man yeah wasn't trying to dis the chicken or anything I'm just running into alot of bad quality and I shop cheap so trying to find something that's edible I might be a bit too picky
I'm speculating a bit, and watch a bit too much TV, and probably have all this confused, and may be a good reason as to why people shop whole foods or organic foods and stay away from McDs. I figure there has got to be some quality proteins mixed in there, regardless of cloned chickens or GMO, however. I figure they use those chickens for laying eggs before being processed for the store in regards of chx meet, or maybe breed chicken just for the meat minus the eggs, and then grind down all the useless shit for our Chicken Mcnuggets; can't beat McDs when comes to processed, old and used up Chicken claws, head, tail, beak, etc. Lololol; who really knows anyhow. I stay away. Oh man, the truth; hey, there might be some good protein there. Too bad the general public doesn't care or don't know. May be doesn't matter cause there's not much anybody can do about it and it tastes great. GMO is one thing, and I would think Genetic Modification is safer than processing. I figure who knows what they feed or put into those egg laying Chickens anyhow.
Why not add Trestolone pallets into cattle to rapidly create more meat to be sold on the market. A bit of more hormone don't hurt. I benefit from it. Farm raised steer is actually affordable if you can find it, slaughter it, and or store it; the steer meat is very affordable actually, balances out in the long run. But who has $600 for a whole steer, including its whole head, feet, tail, and a freezer large enough to put down onto the table just like that. Lol, I'm just talking shot, FDA keeps these foods safe or the product would not be sold to us, and everything must be labeled correctly or that alone is a crime that could really hurt the company wholesaling the product. I trust the labels for the most part and most bodybuilders shop like us and cook their very own. While GMO, processing or not, we get what we need; I may have to consume more of it but the calories are there
unreal89That's why before the ebc I was so lean cause I didn't ever eat after learning about all our foods nano technologies every where and I also ph test my water make sure it's on the alkaline side gotta be as safe as we can these days 5G rolling out, cloud seeding all the bogus stuff going on.. tin foil hat ready.
You have to trim the fat off. And they are so thick I like to cut it up a bit. I cut the thin end off and split the other side in half length wise. Put in a pan with a little water. Season with some mckormick grill mates seasoning. Just a sprinkle. And bake on 350 for 20-24 minutes flipping every 6-7 min. Don't over cook them. Only til 165°. I do two 9x13 pans at a time. One with chipolte and roasted garlic and one with Montreal chicken.
McCormick Grill Mates is where it's at brother. I've got every flavor I think. Makes it easy to change up the taste when your eating the same kind of meat over and over.
I use Montreal steak on all beef and pork I cook as well. Sodium isn't an issue with me as I have low sodium levels so the doc wants me upping my sodium intake
Rustyhooker^^^^^yum!!!
Oh yeah
unreal89I trim all my chicken with sheers and walmart chicken still is horrible i marinade all my chicken and season but its the chicken sadly.
