Need Advice from experienced TRT guys

ad

I was diagnosed with hypogonadism a few months ago (testosterone level was 140). I was prescribed 200mg Cypionate once per week. I just got my follow-up blood work done after 10 weeks on TRT. I inject on Monday mornings and my blood was drawn on Friday morning. My testosterone level on TRT came back at 1048. My doctor said that was too high and told me to start injecting once every 10 days. My question is should I follow his orders or stay at every 7 days? I feel good, not super human or anything, but much better than before TRT. I know that the safe and easy answer is just to do whatever my doctor says, but I guess I am hoping to hear that my level is still safe and I can stay at it if I want. What do you experts think? I am 38 years old. Thanks!

I definitely want him to keep prescribing it to me. And I'm not really trying to get away with being juiced. I just feel robbed that I lived a portion of my life with low T, now that I have high T doc wants me to lower it. I'm definitely afraid that I will be losing out at 700-900 compared to where I'm at now. Can't I fool a blood test by waiting longer to pin the week leading up to my next blood test?

You could follow your docs orders or just ask him if you can inject smaller doses twice a week. Say 75 mgs mon 75 mgs Thursday. Tell him you want to avoid the high peaks and valleys I don’t see why he would say no.

You probably only need 125 to 150 mgs. Your doc most likely wants you around 700 to 900. If your test is in the 100s to start with you don't need much to make a huge difference.

Will I be sacrificing any noticeable benefits by dropping down to the 700-900 range from above 1000?

Listen to the doc. Also consider what Sam said. Biweekly shots are my preferred as well. Around 100-150 mgs should be plenty, which is in line with 200 every 10 days, just spaced out better. Insulin syringes help with the micro doses.

Edit: be glad your doc is taking your health seriously. 200 a week is too much test for the vast majority of the population.

Well, my doc says to inject once every 10 days. So it is either listen to my doc or space out better...

Do some research on blood level curves and cypionate ester metabolism then make your own call. If you’re feeling good at once every ten then leave it alone.

You need to follow the Docs orders man. I’m assuming you’re getting a script for that. So if you wanna keep getting that script you best be following what Doc says

Thank you for the reply. Yes I'm getting a script, but if I do a couple 10-day runs before my next blood test, how will he know? I am more concerned about the health aspect of it...

Id bump the dose down and continue weekly.
I take mine twice weekly. 120 mgs keeps me feeling good.
