+ 4 Drawing from a Vial 1 handed?!!
Given I am going to be an immobilizer Sling in 2 weeks time post surgery, I have been running through a number of potential issues I may encounter whilst only having the use of 1 hand.
Aside from the obvious ones such as Arse wiping and milking the snake (which Milky assures me he is gonna come over and take care of) I have come across a major problem - How the Hell do you draw from a Vial one handed?
I live alone so getting someone to draw and administer isn't really an option - only things I can think of is Pre loading a tonne of barrels for 6 weeks worth which I don't really want to have to do or maybe buying some kind of clamp stand that can hold a vial whilst drawing with a syringe - anyone been through this and have a solution or any ideas at all?

Theres a dude that rolls blunts on youtube with no hands. I gotta believe you can teach yourself to draw with one hand. Didnt that dude with no hands or feet just get convinced for shooting somebody with they were driving or somethin!? Lol
I have no doubt youll make a way Press!
I could show ya how in a video.
unseen423as @shredski said, vial adapter spike is the way. I had surgery on my right (dominant) arm and hand last June and was in a splint/cast for 6 weeks. Granted, I could pinch the vial with my thumb and pointer finger, but the vial spike made it way easier to do by myself.
I’m just going to say it’s possible to draw one handed, and pin one handed, leftie and rightie.
Vial spikes would make this endeavor a lot easier imo
Can you try doing it one handed mate next time you pin - are you sure the vial won't leak when holding it via just the barrel underneath?
I did just for you buddy and it did not leak it will definitely take some getting use to but totally attainable
We want pictures or it didn't happen Bro!!! LMFAO
Damn you’re a needy one lol idk if my wife walks in to me doing this I might end up in a padded wall vacay lol. But seriously the hardest part was spinning on and off the syringe but really not bad at all. I’m also an ex junkie so I’ve done some shit one handed while driving that the normal folk would think it’s impossible so there’s that lol
Damn right. Same here. I think we were actually a step above the expectations of the dept of motor vehicles. At least when actually awake while driving
Glad that shit is in the rear view. Pun intended --
Facts big dawg. Still amazing I’m still here and never hurt anyone (while driving) I’ve had my list of emotional damage lol
I came here to say this!!!
I almost bought a few spikes, but then I was like how do you alcohol sanitize them before each usage? I found the little cleaning caps someone posted - maybe @Jahbabble ? They seemed like they were a dollar a pop. Just didn’t seem economical for daily pinning. Buying an extra draw needle seemed cheaper. Maybe I just needed to find a different supplier.
Just swab the top and they have caps to put on to make sure they stay clean where u store them they are amazing
Tbh way cleaner swabbing these compared to vial tops
I was thinking the caps had like a built in alcohol pad and that you had to use a new cap every time to sanitize. So you just reuse the caps? That would make it way more economical. I guess I was just overcomplicating it.
Yea I use one cap per spike I swab it when I use it and swab it when I’m done pop the cap back on once I’m done with the vial chuck the whole thing new vial, new spike, new cap.
Will this work bud?

Edit: actually I think that would work. Below is another option, but it is a more expensive than the US.

Excellent find buddy!!
The caps do have some sort of disinfecting pad inside them. I got a box of 270 for $56, so about 20 cents each. They're way expensive on Amazon
Someone please call me out of the screenshot is against the rules
Thanks guys! Gonna take another deep dive and probably snag some. Sorry for hijacking your thread @press1
This looks like it’d definitely help out not having to change draw/pin needles. Not sure on a great option for those small, tedious peptide vials. Guess Milky’s just gonna have to take a sabbatical from work and move in.
Feel free to talk all you want on my posts mate, that's what they are here for - to get everyone talking to each other!
I am trying one of these for the first time right now. First draw I did not think it was working the barrel filled so fast and clear. Game changer!
I've never used one buddy so not sure how it works?
A vial spike is a transfer device that attaches to the rubber stopper of a vial and creates a convenient access port for withdrawing liquid. They’re commonly used in medical settings to reduce repeated needle punctures of the stopper.
In general:
Potential advantages include:
You would just have to spin the luer lock syringe onto the port draw back and then put it needle on it’s definitely attainable with one arm
Just looked and they are £10 each on ebay - does that sound about right?
I only paid $2.30 a piece for them at a med supply here in the states. I guess you guys don’t have that great of access to med supplies there in the UK?
I've found them for £5 each now - it seems they haven't caught on here yet so people who sell them are charging a lot for them LOL Most of them are for sale in the US atm.
AAAHhhh I see how it would work now matey!!!! GOOD ONE
I wonder where you can buy them over here then?
Bottom end vial into mouth & pray you poke the stopper & not an eye.. now in regards to ass wiping…
By the replies I have seen here the prison wallet might be an option to hold the vial also.....
And pray I also don't choke on the vial LMAO
The vial is not for practice....
Depending on how well I could clench my asshole, I would attempt to snug it up in there and carefully find the stopper with the needle lmao
I don't think loading the barrell will be the problem, hold the vial in you sling hand and draw with your free hand. Depending on how often you pin you may run out of sites since you can only reach half your body lol.
Problem is pal - If my right hand is in an immobilizer sling which effectively locks your right hand in against the bottom left of your stomach (you cannot move it out in front of you at all) then I would be drawing with my left hand blind from the vial and am not going to be able to see where the oil is drawing to in the vial as I cannot hold the barrel up out in front of me.
Ah well, let the lord decide how much you injecting for the day lol. The vial spike @shredski recommended is pretty good idea though. I used one for a little while, super easy to draw or push back in the vial if you draw to much. Probably wouldn't take long to get the hang of it.
LMAO I guess I could just go TRT but NPP is supposed to be great for collagen turnover and regeneration in tendons so I think it will help. Really not sure if BPC is going to somehow increase vascularity in the area that is being stitched back together, I guess we will see. Will be interesting to see if he will order another MRI to see or confirm when it is healed - did your Doctor do this?
I have my test and NPP mixed in a vial with a spike on it, makes for a quick pull every morning
And what about the Steroids lol
Why do you think I take all the exotic preworkouts? The aggression helps
He did not, he didn't feel it was necessary. Based on my ROM and strength on my last visit he felt I was good to go.
You’ll still have use of your hand lmao. Just because your arm is immobilized doesn’t mean you can’t use a hand to hold something like a vial
I'm actually aboutta pin here in a bit and I'm gonna try doing it one handed from start to finish like the helpless, disabled gimp you're aspiring to be.
Lay on its side after inserting the syringe. Pull back with just fingers. Definitely going to be a pain in the ass anyway.
Blimey - now that is thinking outside the box matey!! That may just work, lets see if Milky is able to do it LMAO I guess reconstituting a BPC vial will just be a balancing act (or prep some vials for the fridge beforehand)
Just pin 6 weeks worth all at once pre surgery
Problem = solved
Disregard my suggestion, I now second this one!!
Regular wünderkind
If you plan on injecting with the same pin that you’re drawing with I believe it can be manageable, the thing that comes to my mind, is to f you switch out needles, say 18-20g to draw with, and switching to a smaller needle, changing the tips out would be a bitch and prob not gonna happen with one hand
