Question for the Vets: Adjusting to New T Ester???

ad

Hello all you juice monkeys and protein princes! I have a question that I can't seem to find an existing thread on. If there is one and I missed it, my apologies.

My question actually has several parts, but I think it'll be helpful to give a little background first.

I have a TRT doctor who prescribes pharmaceutical grade Test Cyp. My Rx dosage is 200mg per week (in split doses) - standard stuff. About 5 weeks ago, I placed an order from one of the highly recommended/verified sources on this here site for a bunch of T Enan (Cyp wasn't available at the time) and ancillaries for estrogen control/support. I received my order swiftly and all was well in the world.

My plan was to start my cycle @ 400mg T per week (split doses; AI's on hand as needed) using my Rx T-Cyp and then switch over to my UGL T-Enan. (*I've always had great results from moderate T cycles because my training and nutrition is spot on, and because I've generally had access to pharma grade T. Just thought I'd mention before I get grilled... I believe in the old adage, "Less is more.")

Anyways! All was going swimmingly and according to plan until week 5 when I switched T sources/esters. All else being equal, the minute I pinned my UGL T, shit has hit the proverbial fan: libido is non-existent, I'm losing weight, strength, and my hard earned gains... Which brings me to my questions.

A lot of bro-science claims it takes several weeks for Test E to 'kick in'. I, frankly, don't buy that - especially if your blood levels are already elevated. The Cyp & Enan esters are nearly identical in terms of half-life; when I inject Rx T, I can feel it within 12 hours. So far, I have yet to feel SH*T from my UGL source's T.

I'm not writing this to blast or review my supplier - they are one of the most recommended and thoroughly enjoyed sources on this site. I'm writing because I'm wondering if it's possible that the body isn't able to use/recognize the new source of T for some strange physiological reason? Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Does it take 'longer' for UGL product to 'kick in' because the body is adjusting to the new solution?

It's entirely possible that the T I ordered isn't what it claims to be, but I'll have no way of knowing without having it tested or getting bloods done (the latter of which I have) and I'm currently choosing to give my supplier the benefit of the doubt. My main question for all of you homies out there is whether anyone has any theories, advice, and/or experience with the phenomenon of switching T esters and noticing a change.

Thank you for all of your time and input!

What do you men by LH and FSH going wonky? Any cycle i've ever done or seen bloods on, they're both in the gutter. Assuming he really is TRT, wouldn't they always be in the gutter? I'm not busting balls, just asking an honest question.

they should not be in the gutter and for some people when they are out of whack they feel like absolute shit ... it's about the only time I recommend using hcg during a cycle to bring them back up into normal range...info is from the endocrinologist

I just looked into this because it was bugging me. That endo should have his liscence taken away, or at least read up on this shit. HCG is suppressive, it mimics the function of LH but not FSH, and will decrease both with use. It does not and will not raise them and I would be shocked to see bloods that prove otherwise, and then neg myself.

When using any supressive endogenous hormones, both will eventually hit the floor. With or without HCG. That's what being shut down is. The only way to raise them aside from waiting for the shit to come back on their own after use is over is with SERMs.

EDIT: this applies to men only. I have no idea about how women react to any of this, so the endo maybe was referring to female symptoms/levels/use?

Yea for sure man. And I'm not claiming HCG won't make the guys plump up and wake them up. Cuz it mimics LH. I also didn't think I was saying anything you didn't already know. Just saying what we know is what I found when I looked into it. But obviously no knock on Kodiak and if I'm wrong I'll be the first to say it and happy to have learned something new.

Weird. I didn't think HCG raised them either. Thought it just acted as LH since it's so close in molecular structure. Gonna have to look into that more because I've never heard of anyone not getting shut down from a cycle. Interesting. Just when you think you start to know shit, ya learn something new.

Once I get my bloods back, that's the first thing I'm asking for. Not just to feel good, but because I'm one vain mother f*cker and I prefer having grapefruit between my legs instead of the mice nuts I'm currently sporting.

Best advice anyone will give you is to get bloods.

Yup.
