Diluting high concentration oils?
There are some oils that I've looked into, such as some Testosterone Enanthate 500mg/10mL vials that I'm quite sure would produce some PIP even if you injected smaller amounts of the product because of the crystals in the oil. I can purchase just pure USP grade grapeseed oil that is sterile and comes in a 20mL vial for dirt cheap and I'm wondering if I were to do something like draw 0.5mL's of the high concentration Test and then draw another 0.5mL of pure sterile grapeseed oil and swished the oils together in the same syringe if it would cut back on the PIP of injecting such a high potency ester like the one mentioned. I also have the option of drawing the entire 10mL vial and injecting it into a sterile 30mL vial and then adding 10mL of sterile USP grapeseed oil for a total of 20mL's of Testosterone Enanthate at 250mg/mL instead of 500mg/mL. My math tells me this would work just fine, but I want to make sure that even though the quantity of the oil would be correct that the dosage would be correct as well. Thanks for your inputs very much.

OK, I have tried to dilute high mg gear before and it does not mix. You need to realize you are taking an oil that is infused by heat with test and an oil that is not fused and mixing them. When you mix it in the barbell you will see the high mg gear looks like oil and the regular oil like water. They do not combine together just because you put them together. You need to reheat the 2 like you were brewing for them to mix properly and be diluted. Then filter it. I took high mg gear and regular and put them in the same barbell and you could see the 2 separated even after mixing them by shaking. I still got pip even after diluting that way. I heated 5ml of sterile gso with 5 ml of the gear then filtered it and that worked. NOT WORTH SAVING A FEW BUCKS. Either man up and take the pip or buy regular strength.
That looks like the general consensus here...looks like I'll have to skip out on that deal and just stick with the gear that I currently have. Fortunately I have enough gear here to cruise for the next year or two, but I was asked by a friend if this would work and it seems like the two just don't mix well in already prepared oil mixtures. Thanks for the info my friend.
It makes no sense to take 500mg of test and turn it to 250mg by adding 1/2 cc of oil. Just buy the 250 mg dosages and save yourself the hassle
If you saw the same offer that I was looking at earlier (can't speak of sources here), the difference between some 500mg/mL and 250mg/mL of enanthate is $10...that's basically buying an entire extra vial of enanthate for just 10 bucks. Financially it could make a difference considering what I'm looking at is highly rated gear. Speaking logically though it would make more sense to purchase the 250mg/mL gear and not deal with having to mix two vials together just to double the amount of oil and create twice as much "normally dosed" gear.
I would be Leary of that deal
Ummm.....if you are planning on diluting it like that why don't you just buy normal dosed stuff. Why dilute a half ml of 500mg with a half ml gso. Your still pinning 1 ml so why not just 1 ml of 250mg. Maybe I am missing something here.
I have some test500. Planned on using .5ml twice a week with 2ml of EQ so not worried about pip. Wouldn't run it solo

Never understood why people buy high mg vials, then go to all the trouble of diluting it when you can just get regular strength gear that won't cripple you. The highest I used was a 400mg blend and was fine for glutes. But these test 500's are definitely not something I'd even consider. 300mg of test is plenty for a 1ml shot Imo.
RustyhookerBecause I blend. Say 600 test...600eq...300mast at low dose and you have 2 huge pins .
Dont mix into a big vial. With all the bother why not just get normal dosed test? Your maths is off.
I agree. I could see why the price difference would make it appealing however it seems like more of a hassle than anything. Unless you're using ungodly amount of test and need it to not have to put as much oil in your body than I could see a practical use for this but if you're using 1g+ of test you're probably running it with deca or EQ which would take the edge off the shot.
It's not for a high amount at all...it's more to minimize the PIP than anything else, and the price of the higher concentration Test makes the deal worth going to the trouble of doubling the amount and dispersing the dose over a larger amount of oil. Grapeseed oil that's already sterilized USP grade and sealed in a vial can be purchased for $5-10 USD for 20 mLs and would essentially turn one vial into 20 mLs of 250mg/mL of Test. I know how to properly mix the two oils together in a sterile environment (especially considering I'd need no filters at all since the grapeseed oil has already been prepared for injection and has been sterilized, filtered, and prepped for mixing)...I'm just making sure that there isn't more to it than that.
I mean if you're going to do that might as well spend the couple of bucks to buy the whatman filters. Just take into account that you need to run the half the gso through the filter first to saturate it, then run the test oil through it and then put the last of the gso in. Also make sure to warm the oils first so they go through the filter easier. Do not heat them just warm them.
If you do that it wont mix evenly, you could draw up a barrel of just grape seed oil and inject it, that could happen multiple times over weeks, if you must mix it do it in the barrel each time you pin, draw your desired amount of test then draw your desired amount gso, give the barrel a bit of a shake then let it settle.
Even better idea.
That's what I was wondering...I could draw half and half of each once a week into a single pin and shake it for a bit if that's all it takes. This is just hypothetical though since I haven't committed to the deal yet, but I did have to wonder if I could dilute higher concentrations that easily or if there was more work involved. Thanks for the information.
Yes. There's a few threads in here regarding diluting oils with filters, etc.
