So I moved to this city where I live now been working for my brother in law for 3 Yeats now we married sisters so that's how this came about ,I lost a lot in the last city I lived in things went bad I was doing things on the wrong side of the law sort of speak making great money never got in trouble knew how to run my business like clockwork , till of course someone got jealous pointed a finger at me ,and I shut my operation down without even second guessing it ,sold everything cars bikes atvs, easy come easy go ,fuck it,bro in law comes in town says come work for me I will move you here pay for housing who could turn that down right, so I agree I got a multi level marketing company you can run the warehouse so I move here he starts making sick money it's coming in like truck loads millions in 6 month span ,but it's not from the multi level marketing because I'm running warehouse and the number of packages going out doesn't add up ,he teams up with some guy who did let's say a lot of medical billing under radar ,this motherfucker was buying new car every week , so much iits the biggest fraud case ever in history it's all over the news so he's facing time of course I'm missing paychecks and his assets are confiscated, so now I'm fucked to top it off now my girl pregnant so I need to move fast and get another job which is fine or I can go back to my old ways sorry for the rant guys I'm just so depleted mentally how I got sucked up into all this I'm good not in the biggest hole in the world but it just sucks, things were looking up pay rise was coming now I can't even pay my rent cause he owes me about 5k which I know he doesn't have ,MODS
if this is not something I should not be mentioning please delete my apologies just venting life is sad for me right now and needed to let this out

I was a Probation and Parole Officer for many years and saw a lot of guys go through the court/prison system. The smart guys went through once. The guys who thought they were smart were like a revolving door...always returned. The smart guys learnt from their experience and changed their ways - they got real jobs and changed their lives. The revolving-door guys learnt nothing, and always came back. you obviously have skills that make you employable - in legitimate jobs. Aim for those. As Irish said - the money may suck, but prison sucks worse (paraphrasing there Irish - hope it's ok). If you go back to your old ways - it simply proves a lack of character, determination and fortitude...and will probably end badly. The fact that you already know this is a good thing - keep trying, get a real job, have pride in yourself and your achievements. Keeps us posted - good luck.

If something looks too good to be true, then listen to your fkn conscience. Dont sit there and dwell on it, go out and get a normal job even if its 9 dollars an hour; swallow your pride and take care of your kid. I worked terrible peanut jobs before and hated it but it was better then the alternative. Fast money is fast jail time and if you do get caught you face a lesson that will haunt you the rest of your life. Life is what you make it, you could bust your ass today and live nice tomorrow; or take the easy route and have 3 hots and a cot and share a room with Bubba for the next 3-5 or 10-15 years. I have been in your shoes and it is not pretty, but I came out alright (in and out of jail for 10 years) until I wised up and moved away from the bullshit and straightened my life. I lost friends but they werent friends to begin with. I lost cars, houses, girlfriends, pride, and blood. BUT I am still alive and now live within my means and no longer give a shit what anyone is driving or how many houses they own. If you had it before you can get it again; the right way. It might take longer but at least you are a free man. Get your ass out there and get a job, your family now comes 1st, not you.
