ad

I'm trying to find a quality protein without breaking the bank. I'm trying to gain and I've been using a mass gainer protein mix ( body fortrus*) the stuff u get at ur big grocery store. But I keep hearing this stuff is crap. Could u guys steer me in the right direction and maybe even give.me a good priced source. Thanks a lot

Optimum Nutrition is my favorite I've tried for straight whey. Their mass gainers are good too, but the tastiest was Russian Bear 5000.

If you want Whey Concentrate there are a lot of very good options.

Oh Yeah! Whey Power- is priced good and a very good concentrate

if taste and quality are important-
AllMax has their Whey Gold, its affordable and taste good
Mutant has Pro 100, its very good, and a good whey concentrate at a good price

there is a lot of options that are quality and affordable. But read the labels. Don't buy a 35g scoop with only 20g of protein and 9g sugar. Its a waste of money. Buy chocolate milk at least when you get fat off that its expected and you didn't get ripped off.

I dont use gold standard any longer, read the label, they have replaced protein with protein peptides. When ON was a standalone company they were much better they were bought by a conglomerate of companies.

Has anybody used www.americanpurewhey.com
They have really good prices and according to the ingredient label it seems to be top quality

Isolyze (species nutrition) or isopure. A little pricey but mix's very well and is easy on the digestion in my experience.

Very clean but whey over priced.
wish they would bring it down in cost. Isopure is a bit more affordable the Isolyze. But Isopure is now owned by Glambia who owns BSN so it they try to make it more profitable they may start using peptides like ON does

Isopure...it's not a gainer though. You'll need oats for the carbs.

I stick to optimum nutrition it's an oldie Goldie bit works for me there are so many out there now who the hell knows what they put in it

You are correct!!! read the labels guys. You're buying protein peptides instead of actual grams of full protein chains.
