Over moderation or is it just me?

Anyone else get the feeling that eroids almost being moderated to the death in the past few months?
I've been on here for well over 2 years, and it never felt like this..
Every thread and link I look at... I see some sort of moderating going on.... Maybe I'm clicking on the wrong stuff.. but yikes.
I'm not an offender, but it's kind of like seeing a police officer at every stop sign making sure you come to a complete stop or its a ticket.
Oh well... I guess its a privilege to use this site and not right.. Just enjoyed seeing the looser leash in the years past.

Gentlemen, I know this thread is a year old. Not beatin an old horse here. I'm just randomly going through old discussions, trying to learn, learn, learn. I've been here only the last half of last year, and it's been the education of my adult life.
Regarding this original topic, from my point of view, I can't imagine this site has gotten worse since this original posting back in Jan of 2015.
Sure, I see young guys coming in, cocking off, then getting a BAN all in the same week.
But then there are the men (like me) who come here only thinking of AAS in the terms that the mass media and uninformed society have put in our brains. All bullshit. Within a week, our eyes are opened to the REAL possibilities, both positive as well as the unfortunate negative, with the use, misuse, and abuse of AAS. (Hopefully enough of us stick around to offer that helping hand that all of us who end up here need so desperately.)
Gents, a year has passed. How is eroids in January of 2016 compared to 2015?
RustyhookerThat post popped up last year when fanboys took over the site. A buyer couldn't even ASK a question before all the dumb fans would verbally assault. Day after day pm message of folks trying to simply get their packs, info etc.
Many folks were escourted to the door. And yes, its been better.
Truth be told I've stopped looking at SI pages since then... Usually were any type of drama takes place... And since it's not spilled over to the general forums I'd have to imagine it's gotten better?

No you're right, these new mods think they're like the forum Gestapo's or something...they're always asking for stats to "make sure we have the proper credentials". They yell at members for saying they ordered 3 censoreds and 2 kits of censored with the pinwheel Orange tops from censored.com. meanwhile they reap all these awesome benefits like working long hours for little to no respect, having their info and families info posted up, and being threatened on a regular basis...them mods that's the life....
But seriously Greg's pretty spot on! People are taking things too far and latelywe have had an influx of problem members....personally I try to only intervene when I think it's 100% necessary. It's nice to see good members help out and to see the forum self regulate
Have you ever seen a neighborhood go bad? Seems like a year or so ago everyone knew their neighbor, doors were left unlocked at night, and you could leave things in the yard without it disappearing as soon as you take you eyes off of it.
No one wants to participate in the neighborhood watch; so the cops come in.
Now the cops are here everyday banning someone from the neighborhood. I don't know why exactly I don't care enough to find out.but every time there's a ruckus, the cops are involved.
I wish it was like the old days where we knew our neighbors, policed ourselves, and relied on each other and not the cops.
I think I'm going to join that neighborhood watch, even if I'm the only one attending the meetings.

I hear yah. I suppose the site has grown to the point where a small town mentality just doesn't work anymore.
Don't get me wrong, I still love this site.... It's a daily ritual of mine to visit at least once ... But usually it's at least once every few hours ... Lol
RustyhookerBack when I started here and finally hit adv and could flag things, a mod literally gave me and any adv member the pep speech. Be responsible and help keep things smooth. It wasn't an order. It was help police the site. Make it a house everyone enjoys. I asked a 900 karma 2 weeks ago to do the same, he thought I lost my mind. Folks in si pages scared to ask questions because they get ridiculed. It's goofy.
Amen to that. It's worse trying to reason with the people who are attacking the guys for asking questions. There's one SI site I glance through since I'm currently on that source's gear, and I shit you not its like a fucking locker room in high school. They go yapping off at people, then you have the retaliation by other members that turn the whole thing into a comedy shit show, and people with serious questions get drowned out. There was one instance when a guy needed some serious help with his cycle, and nobody paid him any mind and gave him shit for advice. I then find that this member's BF% is WAY too high to be doing any kind of AAS... Morale of the story, the SI pages need cleaning, and people need to start using their fucking brains. /rant
Some of these SI pages are like a dang soap opera. They are pretty entertaining and contain nothing of any substance and value. I'll browse through some of them to get a chuckle and to see how stupid some people really are. Not all hope is lost though, there are good ones out there too that give info about new products they are producing and help fellow eroiders with problems or concerns about the source. If the mods really wanted to crack down some of these SI's wouldn't have any posts in them because they are so full of bullshit they would all get deleted. Maybe that would be a good thing?
Before the SI pages all that Bull was on the review pages and in the forums. At least now it's mostly contained.
I agree some of those si's are way out of line sometimes and when a guy has a legitimate question it gets drowned in nonsense
