PWO Shakes (After HIIT or Cardio sessions in general)

ad

I have always been curious to exactly how much protein and dextrose one should consume after a good cardio/high rep/HIIT session as opposed to a heavy lifting pure weight session..

I have been trying to cut my BF% down as of recent and am unsure of my PWO shakes for this..

Usually after weight lifting I consume..
40-60g whey
20-40g dextrose
5g glutamine/10g bcaa

After HIIT like today I consumed
25g whey
15g dextrose
5g glut/5g bcaa

I was wondering if that is ideal if I wanted to LOSE BF percentages...

Please comment and help a brother out!

That looks on par with supplemention. But you have to watch your sugar intack. Food is king in BB so try and get your carbs and proteins from real food will make all the difference in the end. Food builds lean quality mass compared to watery bloated muscle which you will lose most of post cycle.'food is king!! Banana or apple post work out shake with protein is good,'but eat some beef within the hour.

Yeah, I usually hit a meal withing the hour after too, I used to be a big shake guy but I realized I need the solid intake of food... I only hit shakes first thing in the morning and PWO.. Its just the cutting BF down part has always been a challenge for me.. I am trying it now without any fat burners or too much caffeine and instead just taking in my 6 a day but all low glycemic carbs.. the dextrose I am cutting down big time, I used to hit like 50g's PWO lol

I tend to think of them a stabalizers. Replenish with supplements as soon as possible and get the quality food in within the hour. Food is really what the body is designed to break down into nutritition. Aminos through out the day will keep nitogen retention balanced
