+ 2 Need help finding headphones for the gym..
ad
So I am kind of old school... I have never worn a headset or headphones in the gym unless I am doing cardio on a machine..
Well I am kind of interested in getting a pair because I feel like I will get more out of some of my workouts and keep me entertained while I work out...
I looked on amazon and in the stores but I am so torn.. I am not really into the name brand hype like "beats" and shit like that, I know most of the time it is just overpriced and I am kind of looking for some sleek headphones that are good quality an won't get in the way... I don't want to be buying a set every month you know lol.. Wondering what you gym rats use?

i got wireless sony's for around $200 that i think sound better than beats....if you still havent found a pair of headphones let me know and ill look up the item number
so after loosing a couple of fairly pricey headphones. I wnet with the cheapest amazon bt headphones. lol... they are cheap, crappy and loud. but they work every time.
Bluetooth Headphone, Hi-tecBT-1 Wireless Bluetooth Headset with Stereo Sound for Smarter Phone (Blue) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019IHEE34/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_5DpY2rLDqfHum
I got a nice pair of Bose, earbuds they’re like the active set I guess you could call them. But they were inexpensive and the best headphones I’ve had!
Ebay. Skullcandy earbuds $9-12. Usually retail at 20. They are a good name brand. Used them for years.. They stay put. Easily run the chord through the shirt and keep my phone in mu pocket.
+1 GREAT POST
My girl got me these for christmas and they're great. looks like a bit cheaper than she paid now too. they're wireless so nothing gets in your way, and they go over the ear and stay on tight. I haven't ran with them but they're fucking perfect for lifting

Sony MDR-ZX600/BLK (MDRZX600/RC) DJ Style On-Ear Headphones - Black/Red
Best pair of headphones I have ever bought.
I have had this exact pair for almost 2.5 years and LOVE them
IfbbmoeI had a similar pair of headphones from Sony and they were the best I've had in terms of quality and durability. I'm definitely sticking with them
I wear a pair of BEATS SOLO's that are the very 1st generation when they first came out. My point is they sound super and last a long time. Well worth the money.
I bought a pair called "august" on amazon, they are wireless and good sound and not expensive at all
I use razer headphones ... they looks pretty fine , comfortable and sound is awesome , so this is my advice.
With the tip of a friend I purchased some wireless headphones and got the extended service plan. The first time I broke them I went and got another pair that simple. As much abuse as they get you cant go wrong with free replacement!
your choice any good affordable brand of your choice me personally, I have 3 pairs of dre.beats $300 each a bit pricey but I like them.
I use Yurbuds for when I workout. They're specifically made for working out and never fall out of my ears. They are fairly affordable and sound good.
I don't like using high-end ear phones/buds at the gym, due to sweat, possible damage while lifting, etc. I save my nice ones for home.
Once I found these, I haven't used anything else.
I've been an earphone-esseur since I stepped foot in the gym. I'm a big believer that good music can intensify your workout and get you in the zone. Help you push more etc.
That being said I've tried a bunch of different headphones...from the $10-$25 ones I buy at the gym sometimes when I forget to bring some (Skullcandy usually) to the Bose in Ear QC21i for $300.
One of my favorite ones all time purely for sound quality are Grado Prestige Series SR60 or SR80... They are "open can" so they bleed sound...if you're okay with that then they reproud sound great...not EXCELLENT bass but it still sounds really good and has a nice old school look. I've been wearing those over 10 years...
I still love my Denon in-ear headphones, just amazing quality.
If you want bass heavy...these are gear in-ears v-moda bass freq
Right now I train with the Bose QC21i, they're nice, but not GREAT especially for the price. I bought them for my girlfriend for when she travels a lot, but they cancel all the fan noises which is nice.
Yeah my gf knew I was looking for a pair of headphones... and I am still looking, and she bought me a pair of beats headphones.. not sure if I will like them or not, we will see.. I am really interested in the in ear headphones, either by bose or sennheiser.. the more I look the more crazy shit I find.. anywhere from $10 to $2000 lol not kidding there is some crazy stuff out there these days.. I could only imagine how music would sound!
ArmedI got an older model of sony similar to these

4 years now, still works well, decent sound quality. Big enough to drown out whatever crap music they play at my gym, cheap enough to not care if they break or get sweat on them. I just tuck wire underneath my shirt.
Those look like my old plantronics I used for gaming... paid $20 and they lasted 6 years lmao
I have the wireless beats ear buds. Excellent. Set ur phone somewhere in the gym and ur good the whole area around. No wires and they have a design so they hook around ur ear. Well worth the money
How is the sound quality on those?
I like the bose earbuds. They come with soft rubber inserts for your ear (like three different sizes) They are not the loudest set I have had but plenty loud enough and they have very dynamic bass range. They are kinda pricey but so far both my wife and I have put in a ton of ours on ours and they are holding up strong.

I bought these by the way.. I have been using them ever since I really like them, thanks Darth
StevebAre they wireless?
Nope just checked.
Do you have a good link for your specific set, I am definitely looking for bass....
LOL, I was editing it in.
Save a few bucks on ebay
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1311.R1....
Good idea.. I looked it up on amazon they have that same set for 36.00 on ebay is 250.00 on amazon... I would hate to lose those Lmao!!
Gym workers probably selling all the sets they find that people lose. That is how my wife got her first pair of them, lol
Seriously tho they are really good headphones and mine even have a shirt clip so they won't pull out of yoru ears when deadlifting (for instance)
Do you wear your device on your arm or in a pocket ?
In my pocket.
Awesome... I just found a pair on ebay for $40 practically new.. Eroids remains to be the best site on the interwebs Lol!!!
