Bodybuilding diet
ad
Does anybody have any trouble in getting their diet strict or straight? I work as a driver and am usually on the road for 5-8 hours (depending on the route). I sometimes (ok MOST times lol) get fast food. I did take lunches with me from home for awhile (was mostly eggs or chicken). Now my problem is, I want to go on cycle but I don't want to get no gains and just water bloat if I end up having a shitty diet, like per usual.
I'm probably answering my own question in that getting food from the store would be cheaper than eating out while on the job. I eat a lot for a small guy (5'4, 180lbs give or take).
Any advice would be appreciated.

Armykid93 is dead on. You really have to get used to cooking in bulk and packing meals. Its the only way to stay consistant and be sure you will get your meals in on time. Check out my bulking plan I used. I was also 180lbs when I started bulking, no gear tho. Im out in a truck all day also. my coworker also says hes a bodybuilder, but rarely brings his food and a lot of the time ends up in the drive thru line. The differences in our physiques clearly shows the outcome of our eating habbits...
I suggest buying a very large cooler type lunch box and bulk cook on sundays. Cook yourself like 10 pounds of chicken and steak and fish and also veggies and rice so its ready to go. Then simply pre package it in Tupperware for each day. Its a lot of work but if your going to cycle you need to be dedicated to the lifestyle.
When I drove,I would bring a lunch box with ice packs.I would stop at a grocery store in the morning and get things for the day.It kept me from getting bored and hitting the fast food joints.
Great suggestion. What did you usually get?
My trip to my job sucks. It's a total 120 minutes there/back from my job. So really, I'm on the road for like 8 hours. I wake up around 8 and don't get back home till 730 or 8 if I'm lucky.
I would get a 1/4 or 1/2 pound of lunch meat.Slices of swiss. If I was trying to keep my carbs down,I would just roll meat with cheese.Sometimes I would get bread or rolls.I'd get the pre cooked chicken later in the day sometimes. It's not perfect, but it's certainly better than fast food.Fruits.I don't know if you like pork rinds, but there's no carbs in them. Not the healthiest, but I like them. You cold get a half gallon of milk, chug some down and throw some protein powder in there.Cans of tuna with pop tops or in the foil packs.Yogurt.I like sardines. Some grocery stores have pretty good salad bars and soups.
Good suggestions. I didnt even think of a lot of this stuff.
Easy man meal prep a few days ahead. Throw them in containers and eat on the go.
Yeah I know. When I did that, I bought chicken breasts and that was all I had for lunch. What else should I add? Some carbs such as wheat bread or what?
I really only eat three meals a day. Egg whites/oatmeal for breakfast, whatever for lunch, oatmeal usually before a workout, oatmeal/egg whites after workout, and maybe something after dinner.
jiimytattoo75hell when i was on road i used to buy pre cooked chicken strips and sweet potatoes in baby food good shit thou tasty got my protein and good carbs bro
