I feel so sorry for those guys that had to play under that piece of shit. He makes Bobby Knight look like a saint. I wish I could get my hands on that mother fucker and rip him apart!!! Some of those kids could of beat the shit out of him. I would have said fuck basketball at that point and put guy in the hospital. Sorry for the language but that video on espn really bothered me.

Im not condoning it but I couldn't keep count of how many asshole coaches Ive had/ dealt with when you're involved with high-level competitive sports.
breakingfaceI feel the same way. It's amazing how much coaching impacts performance. I had so many terrible coaches that by the time I hit middle school I was convinced I was a complete failure on any field. I can still remember the day my football coach sat down with me on a bench and gave me the pep talk of the century. That very day I began running ahead of the pack and by that time next year I was QB.
breakingfaceThe university had full knowledge of his approach to coaching and knowingly tolerated it. It will be interesting to hear what the investigation reveals.
Remember this comes in the wake of a gay Rutgers student suicide that gathered national press attention. Since that time Rutgers "led the charge" in a zero tolerance policy for bullying of any kind. They quickly became a symbol for a progressive effort to curb this behavior at the college level. All the while their head coach was kicking players and hurling gay slurs at them.
I know our subculture prides itself in a tough core and resilient attitude, however there's no escaping the negative impact this type of conduct has on people. Anyone who's ever worked in a hostile work environment knows it takes a toll both mentally and psychically. Its a horrible place to be and you cant escape because you rely on the paycheck or scholarship for your survival.
There is an obvious need to overhaul the culture in the Rutgers sports dept. This doesn't happen by just firing the squeaky wheel that got caught. The administrators that allowed this to continue must find a new job as well.
Well said bro. That's gonna be on my mind for a while.
