Help
Okay fellas I never thought I would post something like this but I'm in some serious need of advice.. Please don't call me names because I'm ashamed of what i am about to write. I am not on cycle right now and have just finished my pct.
Here we go.....
I met my wife four years ago in New Year's Eve. She's a beautiful woman and I connected with her almost immediately. Notice how I just said I. I have always worn my heart on my sleeve and that cost me through my high school years because I was broken hearted over two serious relationships then. I'm not saying it was their fault because it was mine. I cheated. I was immature and deserved what I got but you know the saying "you don't know how much you love someone until their gone". This made me very insecure for years. Anyways my wife and I dated for threes years. She has two daughters and we have one daughter together. I fell in love with her daughters. Their four and five. Our daughter is one and a half. Theyean the world to me so when her ex husband decided to sign them away I never questioned adopting them. I questioned the marriage that would qualify me. So we get married at the justice of the peace the day after the dude signed the papers and within a week their officially my children and I am thrilled. My wife and I have always got into stupid arguments and sometimes it gets physical. Not like punching or stabbing lot anything like that but pushing and yelling and what not. Well yesterday day morning we got into it over something stupid and she called me a "little bitch" and of course I got mad and I said some things that I'm not proud of but then she bit the fuck out of my leg. I means it looks like I got hit by a hundred mile an hour fastball. Man... I slapped her. Right across the face. I know I fucked up guys I know. She won't even tell me she loves me. She's blaming everything on me and I admit I have some fault. I don't want to lose my family. Please I need serious advice.

BigBmajI'm wondering how your relationship has been going since you first posted.
You may want to look into some form of anger management. If you could apply the anger and aggression in the gym, it would be a positive thing. Practice getting your proper sleep and diet, it can help a lot with the mood. I know personally that I had to fix my own issues instead of trying to fix the problems around me. When I helped myself the other things that bothered me seemed to fall into place.
Bro I can understand rage, I work in a psychiatric ward and deal with manipulative patients all day. Would I love to smack the shit out of them, yes, but i have learned how to control my emotions. There is nothing like the head of the house hold trying to take control by smacking his loved ones. How old are you, I don't mean to be a dick, but I used to do petty stuff like this when i was in my teens and early twenty's. When i was married to my first wife, we would argue all the time she was itallian/cuban and I'm itallian/puerto rican. We fought like cats and dogs but, never physically. If i was to ever smack my current wife, she would prolly barry me in the everglades or something. I wouldn't be able to cope with myself if I let it get that outta hand. My wife on the other hand would never call me a " little bitch", even in a heated argument. You guys need to fix this and fast, counseling, vacations, sex, church, kick boxing classes,yoga,..., ect. Whatever you need to do to alleviate the tension bro. What ever it takes at this point. Next time walk out and go for a ride or something, never hit a woman especially one you love! Godspeed ....Winning!
Asking for help is a great step, but forgive me if I'm wrong weren't you the one going around negging women's pics. If so you might have some deep seeded female issues that should be addressed through extensive counseling. Good luck brother.
Sounds like it's time to get yourself some psychiatric help, fix your issues, and go find someone new.
dredayDamn homie hope it all wotks out i dont really habe any wisfom to share
The stark reality of your situation is that your kids WILL be taken away from you and your wife by child protection if this continues. Domestic violence is taken deadly serious by the law and courts and especially child protection. If this situation that you described took place in front of your children and someone (you, your wife, a neighbor, etc.) decided to call the cops, your kids would be put into foster care immediately. It usually takes about a year to get them back as well. That is how the system works. So let me be clear here, either quit being selfish and be a man and make things right here. If you truly say you love all your kids, then make a choice to NEVER be physical again. It's as simple as that. This is in your control here, no one else. I do wish you the very best and I hope you can draw a line and never cross it, because the consequences are horrible for you and especially your children. Best of luck.
We haven't faught in front of our children. Thank you for your advice and support.
AnonYou don't have to fight in front of them .. they know.
BigBmajI thought the same thing about not fighting in front of my son. But the truth is that that shit can be felt throughout the whole house. My wife and I have gotten in physical fights and I always lied to myself about the influence it had on my son. Then one day I noticed. Mom and dad don't bite and hit eachother in a healthy household.
Good luck.
I'm very glad to hear that. I am truly sorry you're having issues and I hope you can work them out for good. I just wanted to point out what horrible consequences can occur when violence occurs. Best of luck.
I want to thank everyone for the support. Christmas actually started our heeling process. We got along all day. She actually sent me a msg when I was running a car load of gifts home to unload. She told me she loved me so much and that I'm her best friend. That really touched me because she don't express herself in that way very often. And Harley you are right....we do need help right now to keep us strong and we talked about this yesterday. Out first step is getting back in church. I lost my touch of religion years ago when my brother committed suicide. What's crazy is I had a dream about him Christmas Eve. It was almost like he was trying to connect with me. Anyhow there is still a lot of healing that my wife and i need to go through but I feel we had a break through. You guys have been great. I hope everyone had a great Christmas.
Anonyou are at the point where you should seek some professional help. the fact that the two of you are getting physical with each other is very disturbing, if for no other reason than what you are teaching those daughters that "mean the world to you." You are teaching them that this is what a relationship looks like and that it is ok. Don't wait, seek out a professional.
IMO the two of you have an odd way of showing love to each other "pushing & yelling a lot" ???
listen i know all the men are gonna say you shouldn't hit a woman and i agree for the most part but biting on yr leg??? how lady like is that...a woman shouldn't hit a man either...in fact neither of you should be laying ur hands on each other for any reason unless its in an affectionate way....so pushing each other needs to cease too....eventually is she gonna whack you in the head with an ashtray or something? when you have such open boundaries this is the end result....i think you both need to find a far more healthier way to argue and express your dissatisfaction....how old are both of you? personally i think you both have equal blame....it seems you have introspection so thats a good start....now if only your wife can meet you in that introspection then maybe you can both sit down and agree that this behavior is violent and extremely tumultuous and its something BOTH of you need to work on and change.
I'm sorry to hear that your relationship is headed towards this path of violence, anger, and disappointment. I too, would never hit the person I love. No matter how mad I am, or upset. Just think about it, would you want someone doing that to your daughter? well, your wife is still someone's little girl. I can understand you were upset, and sometimes that stress can meet your limit as a individual and you had enough. When you get to that point, that is your cue to walk away before it gets worse. You both have issues right now that you both have to deal with. At this point, you need to weigh out the pro's and con's. Ask yourself, Can this get better? Can we both accept each others behaviors and learn to co-exist as a couple? Is this for my kids best interest? You have a responsibility now as a father to take care of your children and sometimes the violence coming from their own home is what could harm them the most.
I have been in a similar situation, more yelling and no physical violence but I still left. It was hard, me and my ex just had a daughter who turned 1. but it was better for my daughter to have two happy parents who are not together than 2 parents who were monsters around each other. Apologize to your wife for hiting her, but she has to to take blame too. You both were wrong in this situation, talk, communicate, and if nothing gets better then leave and find yourself someone who is right for you. Good luck to you and merry xmas.
Thank you brother your advice gives me hope...
I can't even imagine being in a relationship with that much violence. It seems you and the wifey would be prime candidates for some counseling. You better deal with this sooner rather than later. Most chicks with a decent head on their shoulders don't stick around after they get smacked.
Good luck Bro.
You shouldn't be on this forum and ignoring your wife. Go do what needs to be done to makes ammends. Actions speak louder than words. So don't antogonize or justify whatever, and just get in there and do what the head of the house does.
You know what as much as I live this site you are right. I just can't help but come back for advice.
It's all about respect and it sounds as if both of you have very little for one another. For 1 thing calling each other names is as damaging if not more that the physical part of it. The main rule in my house is no calling names out of anger period because it only escalates from there. You'll never agree on everything but it's how you deal with it that matters. This kind of behavior is because either you have a serious lack of respect for one another or 1 of you haven't established dominance yet. The man doesn't have to be the dominant 1 for it to work but someone has to make the final call on the tough decisions. Being able to have an open mind and seriously consider all options is part of respecting your partner. If a compromise is in order you have to be willing to do this if the other person has a convincing argument but you you decide to do it your way anyways after thinking it through carefully and it blows up in your face you have to be willing to acknowledge that you were wrong and fix it. The dominant 1 has to take the lead on how a problem is to be dealt with in a family and lead by example. This is going to be harder now that you've been together for some time but it can still work. Again leading by example is the way but because you 2 have history it will take longer to change learned behavior. For starters do not engage in or be drawn into volatile behavior. Getting on the same page as to how you will deal with disagreements will be the hardest but once this is established it makes life a hell of a lot easier. Respect is the easy part just ask yourselves this. How would I feel if I said or did this to her. If it's bad, hurt , or embarrassed.... Don't fucking do it. That's respect and if it has to be done then explain yourself and find a more constructive way to do it. A person has to have integrity. With integrity everything else falls into place such as respect, love, hard work, making good choices, and the list goes on. I hope you share this post with her and truly wish you 2 the best of luck. If all else fails you have to split up. You rather your child deal with having divorced parents rather than grow up in such a volatile environment.....
Wow my man thank you for your time to respond. That's amazing advice man.
First thing both of you need to do is grow the fuck up! I am curious, was alcohol involved? What happened between the little bitch comment and the chomping on your leg? It seems something is missing there. Regardless, you two have children and apparently do love each other, it is time to sit down and set some hard boundary rules on how you two are going to treat each other. If it makes you feel better Mrs Ice bit me once on the arm hard enough to leave a mark for months, lol.
Bro, in order to make peace you need to step up and say you were ultimately at fault. You should not have belted her one.
I never drink but I'll admit I drank tonight. I know that's weak if me but I just wanted to let go. Other things happens between her calling me a little bitch and the biting but nothing physical. Thanks for the advice brother.
GearofWarThat's a shit situation there my friend. I never condone hitting a woman but it sounds like you've got a little mutual history together as it pertains to getting physical. It's especially tough because it's Christmas Eve and all is supposed to be right in the world, not fucked beyond all recognition. Did she call the cops? Pressing charges? Either way it's not going to be great for a while I'm going to guess. How long have things taken to simmer down in the past over similar incidents that included physical violence? What sort of damage did you do to her face with the slap? Was it a quick fiver across the cheek or a full-on open palm haymaker? All I know is what you've told us and it's really hard to offer solid advice without knowing you both personally. I mean you seem like a pretty good dude from just reading your stuff around here. What is do: Beg for forgiveness, promise and swear on your life to never let things get that out of control again, reiterate how important the kids are to you even though you aren't currently getting along with HER, and finally; Give her plenty of space and as much time alone as she needs to make a rational choice or decision about your relationship. Brother, I'm truly sorry that this shit jumped off on X-Mas Eve for you and I'll add a little prayer to mine for you tonight in hopes that you both can rebound and find it in each other's hearts to move past this horrible incident. Peace and love.
She has called the cops before. Yes I am at ultimate fault. I should have been a bigger man. It has never got this physical before.
It looks to me you have a great family !! Think of the kids I hope the kids didn't see any of this ?? However marriages have ups and downs. My wife has hit me once and I have never laid a hand on her. What is she blaming on you ?? Whats the full story ? My wife is a very small women if I would lay a hand on her she would go through a wall, I know my boundaries. You have something spacial Children !!! She called you a bitch for a reason ? Yes 95% of us guys on here have to step down and man up !! Juice can make us go crazy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone has faults no one is perfect. You less than 24hrs away from good memories those kids need both of you !!
That's great advice and honestly it touched me. Thank you
Time and some anger management classes will help. Know matter the outcome seeking help to control your anger will help you personally. I am sure anyone would have a hard time avoiding laying hands on anyone that bit the shit out of them but learning to do so will help. Taking the blame might speed things along.
Thank you brother.
