Pitting edema....test enanthate cycle only. First time user.

ad

Hey guys. Been taking 450/mg enanthate for 6 weeks now. I noticed a little bit of water retention in leg around week 4, week 5 was more noticeable in leg and some in feet, now real bad in leg and feet look like fucking shoeboxes. Edema is so bad I actually had a leak drain out some fluid. That just happened 3 days ago.

No, I am not running an AI. Yes, I should have been. Yes, it was fucking dumb and yes I was told to. That aside, how the hell can I get rid of this. My blood pressure is still holding just around 137/88. Never had this issue before, and no known underlying health issues causing this besides the test. Also noticed in my hands as well to. Puffy, and very hard to close.

I have no pain while walking, I can stand all day and no pain. I feel a bit of tightness while stretching though. I just started taking 2 pills of 'cleanse & lean', but am thinking I need to run a bit more. I drink around 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 gallons of water a day. Im a sweater. My diet has been around 85% on, but the past two weeks I have allowed a few more unbalanced meals than needed. I cant think the extra sodium is causing this. My cardio hasnt been on par like it needs to be either, and I realize that it takes not only a lot of planning, but serious dedication to run gear. I fucked this cycle up, and know next time my mind and body need to focused more before I run something like this again.

My questions are: what do I do about the nasty water retention? Should I lower my dose on the test? Should I go and buy an AI and start taking as soon as I get it? This is where my newb comes out, but I am accepting Im the moron who did this to myself. I just need guys to help if you are willing. Im not panicky, but this shit does worry me a tad.

*************UPDATE*******************

Well, good news and some bad news reporting from ER. First, I can verify 100% that I have some wicked pitted edema. Secondly, with regard to the P/E, I do not have it bad enough where it is draining water. After the doc looked at both legs, we started talking about skin allergies and whatnot. Came to the conclusion that the time I switched over shaving cream to a generic brand, was when these little bumps started to form. He told me that weeping edema takes a while to form, and none of my symptoms or what I was having was such. Looks like I have a case of a real bad skin rash.

EKG came around as a precautionary tool, b/c they werent happy with my extra fluff I have. Said anytime someone is over 300lbs they start to get concerned about heart. After being hooked up to that, they found out my heart, though pumping extra, is pumping just fine. No irregular, no odd beats/sounds. Doc said they could skip the MRI since the EKG will always show them first where we need to proceed. The doc did want an xray of my heart and lungs...everything came back clear. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Doc said for my size, besides a little higher BP and resting heart rate, things are pretty good, especially for my weight. His recommendation was cardio, cardio, diet and training. Said not to be so obsessed with building more muscle right now, but focus on shredded down what I have then make decisions from there.

So, aftercc an array of tests and work, I need to drop some weight and do cardi. Low level diuretic and an AI. All pretty good news thought.

Did you mention to the doc you were taking test?

Liquid Steel's picture

Hey bro thanks for the update! I'm glad u went to the ER and got the tests and found out what is goin on in your body! Hell yeah bro hit that cardio and in due time u will achieve your goals!

friefrie11's picture

Thanks bro. I am going to keep a log of my journey here, which will include a cardio and relatively detailed diet log. Will also include a % of body fat & lean body mass adjustments weekly.

Liquid Steel's picture

Hell yeah thats awesome bro! U got this bro jus happy to see you did the rite thing bro!

HotPinkGirl's picture

Yeah you work just fine... You over there and hubby over here. Let's keep it that way. ;)

Liquid Steel's picture

Bro u knw whats up! U r riding shotgun in this bitch! No Homo!

friefrie11's picture

Ya I know. I may have fucked up the cycle by not running the stuff I should have, aka AI, but the added swelling I dont need. I knew better than running it with body fat over 30%, but I thought it would be ok. Goal is to get lean without, then decide if getting back on is the route I want to go. Your good peeps!

will229's picture

Nice work bro's! This is why this site is so helpful. Hopefully this guy reports back to us after everything is cleared up..

Liquid Steel's picture

Bro listen to these guys take your ass to the ER! You do not want that water to get to your heart! U will be in for some serious shit! Your heart is fighting its ass off the way it is seeing how big u r! No being a dic jus want you to be healthy bro!

friefrie11's picture

Not a dick comment. Heard the same thing earlier in the gym. I took the diet pretty serious, but didnt with my cardio. My main goal is fat loss, and yet I avoided the very thing I needed to do. My heart is working overtime keeping blood going to where it needs. My doc said just because it is working great now, doesnt mean it still will be working the same in a few years. Weight is too much, and my primary focus needs to be getting the weight off. I figure once Im down to under 10-12% body fat, I will have a much better idea of where I need and want to go with my physique. 36% body fat doesnt show much definition in my abs...lol.

fast48's picture

Why arent you in the ER before congestive heart failure happens?????

Is this real or is dude on way?

Liquid Steel's picture

I dunno but, I hope he's takin this serious and not blowin it off!

Liquid Steel's picture

All the test in the world is not gonna help ya lose weight! Strict diet and cardio will! In the mean time get your health issues in check and healthy times will come be patient and keep up your hard work and dedication! There's a lot of great peeps on here to help ya out along the way the ones commenting on your health I'm sure would gladly help u out in any way they can bro!

friefrie11's picture

Ya, Im stopped. I know I can always start another cycle when things are better, but my main health isnt worth it. Just gear to use another time. Thanks cdaddy!

friefrie11's picture

Even though Im bigger, my docs have always been happy with my labs and shit. Just not going to fuck something up over a stupid cycle. Not that dumb. Clean up my diet even more, start really hitting cardio for fat loss but more importantly my heart. Keep hitting the weights and focus on one thing first. Health...

will229's picture

Hit that cardio hard bro!! I had a friend that was around 315 and he went nuts on the eliptical for about 9 months straight. I'm talking 1 hour hard per day and he dropped to 220. I was damn impressed. Fuck the gear for now; you will have your support here!!

Liquid Steel's picture

Nicely put bro! I jus said the same! Great advice

Liquid Steel's picture

X2 bro!!

Keeping a pillow below the legs while resting or lying down improves the return of blood from these areas. Avoid standing or sitting in the same position for prolonged periods of time. Shifting the position of the legs or taking a few steps in between prevents water from getting collected in the feet. Certain types of stockings that fit snugly to the feet and improves blood circulation in the feet may also be used.

Restricting the intake of salt is often beneficial. Increased consumption of fruits and vegetables supplies the body with all the essential nutrients that improves blood circulation and prevents water retention.

Ai,diuretic, and a doctors trip. Had a friend who had leg swell like that before and it spread. Ended up being real bad infection. Had to get drained and put on antibiotic which didn't work and because he waited so long to get MRI from doc they ended up cutting a huge chunk of leg out from surgery.

friefrie11's picture

Thats the shit I wont let happen. Sorry for your friend there too.

10000ngdl's picture

You are letting it happen right now, too much estrogen is kill your ass. Go to the ER and tell them everything before you drop dead.

will229's picture

Wait I just read that you're 5'7" and over 300 lbs. This edema worries me a bit. I think you should probably stop this cycle. Edema can be caused by other things, not just testosterone. It could be an infection of some sort. I dunno if I'm just overreacting here, but this kind of sounds alarming.

jimboe85's picture

+1. I truly believe that's the ticket. You made the mistake by running a cycle at that body fat and for a first time. The mistake isn't in not running an AI, its the body fat. That much fat will most certainly cause estro issues. You should loose a shit ton of weight first. Being that much overweight is always gunna cause problems. That's top priority to loose that weight brother.

friefrie11's picture

I too am a tad worried. I never had any issues prior. I get regular check ups and in fact, was just at docs office 3 weeks ago. Said Im as big as a horse, but as healthy as one. Just told me to get weight down as well. I know this too.

fast48's picture

ER now! Buh bye!

fast48's picture

Huge high five for pointing out his stats!

fast48's picture

Those stats correct?

friefrie11's picture

Yes. Stats are maybe 5'8''. Weight is now around 347. Pre-cycle was 328lbs. Body fat is sitting around 36%, tested hydrostatically. Thought that the small cycle of test would aid in dropping some body fat. Guess I should have focused more on cardio perhaps...No health issues, but I gained this water weight fast over the past week and a half.

fast48's picture

TO ER WITH YOU! Good luck...update us after ER. You can go into failure.....

Liquid Steel's picture

Yes bro u r on point! High five bro!

will229's picture

I dunno, but I figure gaining 14 pounds on first cycle of test E for a 300+ lb. guy really isn't that much weight. So, the fact that pitting edema has set in already sounds a bit scary. But again, I don't know enough about this kind of reaction to tell him to continue the cycle. I know if it were me, I would stop. Hit the reset button and get my health/diet in check before I run another cycle.

fast48's picture

Fully agree. Watery runs like deca/dbol its regular to drop 10lbs water if not using ai right. But given those stats.....ya. Er

fast48's picture

Bonehead!!!!!! GET YOUR AI RIGHT NOW!! TWO DAYS IT CAN BE TO YOU! CAN YOU HEAR ME??? YOU GOT WARNED!

WHAT the hell is leak removal? Gah!!! Smh!

friefrie11's picture

I will grab from same place I got original gear I guess. I need it fast. I was warned, I know. Just dumb, no excuses. Leak meaning my leg actually drained out liquid yesterday. Ive put on over 14lbs of water so far.

fast48's picture

Like sweated severely or blew a hole in your leg?

friefrie11's picture

No, like water blister formed, popped and hole leaked fluid a few times. Like a drip or two down the front of calf.

will229's picture

Dang, this does not sound good. Can an AI really help that much for this Fast? I've never heard of that.

fast48's picture

Thats why i need to know if he can get laxitive. Piss it all out. Lay propped with legs elevated. Gotta get more info.
