+ 1 Favorite excercise poll
I was talking lifts with my buddy tonight and we started out talking about absolutely necessary exercises that should be incorporated into any decent training plan...like squats on leg day in my opinion are absolutely necessary. Inclinesnon chest day...etc. but then we got to talking about what our favorite exercises were, maybe not completely necessary for a well developed physique but just really fun exercises to do.. my favorite are as follows.....
Chest. -cable flyes! I know it looks stupid to some people but i get an amazing pinch dead center in between ny pecs i cant get with regular flyes
Back. -lat pull downs, nothing opens my wings up the same, i look like im carrying rolls of carpet under each arm lol
Tricep- rope push downs with a nice wide flare at the bottom for pump in the lateral tricep head.
Biceps... preacher curls. Love the pump and stretch here.
Legs... hack squats.lol i just realky started doing them recently and theyre growing on me lol at first i hated them but after a.while you feel the difference in the tear drop.
Delts...i love me some lateral raises high as fuck. Love that capped look.
As you can see my favorite exercises involve mostly pumping and shaping the muscles which is a Painfully enjoyable process... though i still feel heavy low rep compound exercises are more important for mass and strength.
I just wanna see what exercises you guys really enjoy the most...me and my buddies were actually really different, he just likes goin as heavy as he can go on his basic compound lifts lol
Cant wait to read this. Thanks in advanced guys.

BFR with intermittent stretching for rest
Dips and cable crossovers for chest. I don't even do bench anymore.
Interesting.
Chest - flat BB bench. I'm old school like that
Back - barbell rows. Slightly above being parallel with the ground. Just a little body English with heavier weight. Pulling the bar with a narrow grip in an arcing motion to the belly button
Tri's - cgbp. Heavy. Hands suicide and twisted in to the point where my index finger isn't even on the bar to isolate the tris as much as possible. Throw some chains on it
Bi's - one arm at a time hammer curls
Legs - squats. I'm old school like that
Delts - behind the neck wide grip BB overheads. Klokov presses if you prefer
iNarcissistI change my mind, new favorite back excercise is Dorian Yates style bent overrows with a supinated grip. I get a much tighter pump and can go a little heavier. Its also helping my biceps look a littler wider.
I'll be trying this this morning buddy ;)
Hope your well mate?
iNarcissistIm great man, been caught up working alot lately. Im doing back today. In like couple hours after i eat. I bought some chains in 15lb increments 4 of them about 4 feet long. gonna be doing some weight pull ups today. Tryna get those wings to fly
Fucking love t-bar rows.....this is my overall favourite exercise. I can do it all day maxed out always leaves me feeling like a beast.
Bent over rows....I look like a twat doing them but feels like I'm working my entire upper body from the core outwards exalant for building strength.
Decline shoulder press (free weights) always to failure when I do this leaves me shaking like leaf when I leave the gym.
Anadrol1000Chest - Heavy slow negatives followed by drop set to total failure .
Back - T-Bar rows .
Shoulders - Viking press.
Legs - Squats .
Biceps - EZ bar curls .
Triceps - 2 handed dumbbell press behind neck .
bigmurphIm in to hitting my shoulders hard. I don't know why but my shoulder workout just makes me feel incredibly strong. Im not even a haevy 4-6 reps lifter after my ruptured bicep I now lift medium weight in the 8-12 reps area.
I have to say shoulders are my favorite muscle to work out.
Using basically everything I can I really like to mix it up also im not big on using the same routine wk after wk I think that it causes plateus that are hard to over come when if you just keep it different all the time you will always be moving forward.
I also enjoy hitting my chest with a incline, flat, and decline workout. I have been able to really shape my chest with using all 3 on my bench day.
Bench for chest day heavy to! Back day is straight leg deadlift or T rows. Leg days is the leg sled or standing ham curls. Shoulders it's just everything haha. Bi and tri is isolated singal arm curl and straight bar push downs
