Can't control my appetite!
Okay so I was always the skinny tall guy being that I'm 6'9" so I could always eat whatever I wanted and I was active so I had no fat. Then I lived a very sedentary for over 10 years and was in terrible physical shape. Hit the gym got my shit together. Long story short, after I got in decent shape I have only ran bulking cycles and I'm in the middle of my first cut and the hunger pains are killer! I am used to consuming anywhere between 6000-8000 per day and I literally can't control my appetite. I am getting results but my only road block is food cravings. I'm sitting around 16% be now and trying to get to at least 14% but preferably 12%.
Routine and cardio are on point I just need to find a way to curb my appetite. I'm on cycle now currently just test.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can't give you much advice as in the same boat on my first which is going great but I'm Actualy in the car right now driving back from the gas station where I grabbed a frozen pizza and a coke. Just caved in lol. 80% of the time I can follow my diet which seems to be enough to let me get lean. I started at 18-10% 8 weeks ago and I'm currently around 13%. But if you were bulking on 6-8000 cals then I assuume you can diet on like 4000 cals so if your not you might be able to eat a little more each day while still losing fat at a good rate.
Cutting sucks bro! I hate it. Can't wait for winter bulking time lol.
You can say that again bro. I feel so small right now lol. Can't wait to get big and Actualy get to eat again.
Yes it's going to be amazing. Although if can hit my goal this summer (and I will) I'm not going to ever dirty bulk again. Just lean gains and maintain a bf under 15% at all times.
Yeah it looks good to be all swole at 275 lbs and 18-20 % bf in a shirt, but not so good with the shirt off. My ultimate goal is 275 and 12-14% bf. Probably a good year or two away from that. But it's a marathon not a sprint.
Hell ya bro dirty bulk never again. It's just not worth it especially since when I do it that way I end up looking like shit for like 9 months out of the year and I don't compete I wanna look good year round. And I hear ya on looking good in a tshirt. When I was 220 I looked like a beast in a tshirt, except for the fat face and slight double chin I had going on lol, butl looked like a total mess with no shirt on. Now it's kinda opposite, good with no shirt and now I'm at do you even lift status in a shirt lol. But I'm gonna add some serious size this winter I can't wait. My long term goal is around 220 at 8% so that's atleast a solid 3 years a way unless I can stay lean and basically bulk year round instead of wasting 4-5 months cutting and maintaining each year. But I'm in no rush to get there , wanna do it quickly but safely.
Eat massive salads and things that are all dietary fiber...a salad with two of those massive mixed greens containers from Walmart with cucumber and tomatoes and try the calorie free honey mustard is enough to eat all day and is only 200calories which makes about 8-10 bowls of salad you can eat one a day for a week also add 250 cals of turkey or chicken which is like an 8 oz breast to each bowl
Such a simple and yet genius idea. I can't believe I haven't done that yet! Thanks bro.
Yeah be careful at first because all that fiber may give you the shits...but those massive tubs of lettuce and spring mix from Walmart are 35 calories for the whole tub...I mix either half spring mix with romaine or spinach which are also 35 calories a tub...then Walden farms makes zero calorie dressing the honey mustard is good the bacon ranch is OK...the regular ranch is disgusting its really trial and error....then again I think 6oz of chicken or turkey breast I'd like 250 calories so cut up 6 oz on each salad which 2 tubs of the salad mix is 70calories and this will easily make 7 large salads so each salad is 10 calories then add the chicken @ 200-300 cals or turkey or fish then the dressing is 0 add another 100 or so cals which is like half a cucumber and hand full of tomatoes and shrooms and whatever else you want total cals with chicken is about 450-550 cals add a ice tea or if u don't mind a few cals an Arnold palmer (my favorite) and bam you have a massive diner salad like 2 12" plates full and all under 500ish cals
How many calories are you eating now? Are you losing a 1/2 lb to a lb a week?
Tip: brushing your teeth helps curve your appetite, funny as that sounds it works for me and some others that tried it.
I struggle a lot especially on the weekends with my caloric intake. During the week I'm around 3000 calories ed and sometimes even less. But on the weekends I'm out with the wife helping her with work and she is a liquor rep so we are always at events at restaurants and bars. So I snack more and eat more than I should.
Even when I'm doing good I am fucking starving all day long. I get terrible hunger pains and my stomach growls non stop!
So far on this cycle I have gone from 270 to 253 and I can't seem to get below that. I want to cut calories more but the hunger pains suck!
I have been on for about 10 weeks and stopping at 16 weeks and pct. I was on tren at a low dose for the first 6 weeks and obviously that helped a lot. My first tren run and it was good but not for me.
You most likely do not need to go any lower for a man of your size. Are you doing those HIITs and cardio?
Keep cals up your cardio., don't eat less you will only lose muscle and slow your metabolism. Bring almonds or a protein bar with you when you go to those events. Save your cheat meal for something special with the wife. I usually use my cheat on leg or back day, never on an off day.
Here is a quick 200 cal (10oz)serving accompiment to your chicken, fish or top round
Lentils and spinach
1 bag of lentils
10 garlic cloves
1 bag or frozen spinch
4 tbls olive oil
2 Salt & MSG beef broth pack
Brown up some garlic and the olive oil in a large pot (one you would boil pasta in)
Throw in the lentils and stir them for a 3 few min
Add water 1/2 way in pot and put burner on high to soften the lentils (15 min)
Add spinach and broth, cook for 5 min
Simmer and enjoy.
Should make 10-12 servings. Quick easy protein, good fats and good carbs
Don't forget your green tea. The little things help
Thanks for the advice bro. And yes I'm doing 15 min of hiit on the recumbent bike at least 3 times a week. I can't do a lot of running or jumping because of back and neck issues.
Actually today I switched up things and I want to see how this goes. I rode the bike between each set today and it was definitely a workout. Kind of the best of both worlds. I'm going to do this routine for a few weeks along with separate hiit cardio sessions and see what happens.
