Weight loss
ad
Hi
I'm a vegetarian 50 year old and i already checked my test levels, it's normal "6". My doctor recommended SAXENDA to me. Do anyone know anything about it? Is it work and is it easy to find this product on market? Also if anyone could recommended the best steroids to combine with Somatropin to weight loss?
Thank you

Yo my man, props for asking before pinning shit blindly. You're 50, vegetarian, test at “6” (assuming nmol/L)—so you’re not tanked, but you're def not optimized. Doc threw Saxenda at you, now you’re curious about HGH and steroids for cutting? Alright, let’s unpack this like someone who’s actually sweated through a recomp phase, not some AI bot slinging wiki facts.
Saxenda (liraglutide)..... That stuff’s legit if your diet’s already on point. It’s not some miracle injection. It slows gastric emptying, makes you feel full faster, and tells your body to stop snacking like it’s 1999. Clinical data shows you can drop 10--15% of your bodyweight in 6--12 months with it, but only if you’re moving and not eating like shit. Side effects... Oh yeah. Nausea, puking, bloating, some people feel like they got food poisoning for the first 2--3 weeks. If that doesn’t scare you off, it’s solid. Not cheap though, like $1,300/month if insurance ghosts you.
Now HGH (Somatropin). Yeah, it can help shred fat. Visceral fat melts better on low-dose GH, and you might even feel tighter and sleep better. But don’t expect miracles overnight, it’s a long game. Also, if you dose it too high (especially with insulin resistance creeping in at our age).... Boom, blood sugar problems, gut bloat, carpal tunnel, and more. GH is more like a polisher, not a fat burner.
Mixing GH with gear for weight loss though...... Bruh… that’s some risky shit. People think it’s a magic stack but forget that AAS increases water, raises BP, and can tank lipids, not what you want while cutting, especially at 50. And most people who try this route don’t do bloodwork, don’t track insulin sensitivity, and end up just holding watery muscle thinking they’re lean.
You said weight loss. That’s diet, cardio, consistency. GH and Saxenda can help if your foundation is rock solid. But steroids just for weight loss, Nah bro, that’s the fast lane to looking puffy with shredded organs.
If you had to touch something mild with Somatropin, maybe a low-dose Primo or Masteron could help you keep lean mass while cutting, but that’s only if bloods are clean, BP is tight.
Real talk
Saxenda: legit but expensive, side effects can be rough
HGH: slow, long-term fat loss tool, not magic
Steroids + HGH for weight loss, Not worth it unless you’re pro-monitored and dialed the fuck in
Best stack at 50: clean diet, light GH, cardio, sleep, maybe TRT if needed, not full-on gear and praying for abs
You don’t need to pin your way to fat loss. You need to move, eat like an adult, and maybe let GH and Saxenda help nudge the scale not do the damn work for you.
Alright here’s the deal, this is how I’d do it, had a buddy over 50 who did it just like this while on GH and dropped like 35 pounds in 3 months. No crazy juice, just locked-in eating and staying consistent.
He kept it stupid simple:
Morning (fasted or with GH)
Black coffee or green tea
Walk 20--30 mins, nothing wild
No food yet if using GH, wait 60--90 mins so it works better on fat cells
Meal 1 (break fast, around 10–11am)
4 to 5 eggs (scrambled or boiled)
1to 2 pieces of Ezekiel toast or oats
Handful of berries
Add protein shake if you're light on meals later
Meal 2 (lunch)
Big-ass salad with
Mixed greens
Chickpeas or lentils
Cucumbers, olives, avocado
Olive oil + vinegar dressing
Add tempeh or tofu for protein (you’re vegetarian)
Meal 3 (late afternoon)
Quinoa or brown rice
Steamed broccoli or spinach
Grilled tofu, seitan, or veggie burger patties
Sprinkle of flax or chia seeds for fats
Pre-workout snack (optional)
Banana or apple
Almond butter or small protein shake
--Don’t overeat, just fuel to move----
Dinner (light and clean)
Zucchini noodles, cauliflower rice, or just more greens
Lentil or vegetable soup
Olive oil drizzle or avocado for fats
Herbal tea after, no sugar garbage
Rules he followed like religion:
No snacking at night
Ate within an 8--10 hour window
Drank a gallon of water a day
Took magnesium glycinate, vitamin D, and B12 daily
Didn’t touch fake meats full of seed oils!!!!!!!
He didn’t count every calorie, he just kept protein high, carbs smart, and fats clean. GH helped with sleep, fat loss, and energy, but the diet did the heavy lifting. That’s the shit people forget.
Personally, I’d be curious to know your height and weight, just to understand how serious the situation really is. Sometimes it can be handled without any extra meds, just with a smart diet and regular exercise (I’m a fan of circuit training for fat loss, by the way).
As for Saxenda. If you’re already thinking about using a GLP-1 mimicker, I’d honestly lean more towards Semaglutide. It’s more proven and clearly more effective than Saxenda.
Wait I'm confused here. This is your original post so whose height and weight are you asking for?
This is from 7 years ago, so he probably has moved on to bigger and better things lol
Saxenda is not studied enough. If u want to take that then get the script and fill it. Just beware of thyroid Tumor growth that leads to thyroid cancer and a whole box of other great side effects. Why does everyone want a script to get in shape.
Calorie deficit + cardio + weight training = weight loss
But to the OP, if you don’t know if you need it, you don’t need it.
I wish it was that easy to just add some AAS with HGH and boom your ripped. Following your formula is the only way.
basskiller89Boom x2
Hello Sir,
Few things that comcern me here, first of all don't think we can discuss any names of substances in the open forums as that is against the eRoids rules and you may get negative reaction from MODs.
Another thing that concerns me, why would doc recommend you a fat burner? Normally docs recommend diet and exercise, that's a bit unusual to hear from a doctor.
Next thing that is concerning is the idea of implementing hormones in to your life. Considering the information you have put on the top it doesn't sound like a good idea as lack of knowleadge and experience will lead to bigger problems later down the line.
I would recommend to look in to your nutrition and exercise plan as more likely the issue is there and some adjustments needs to be made to get a desired results.
Hope you won't take this personally and this will help.
Regards
Steroids are not fat burners. If you are looking to lose weight, dial in your diet.
Also, if your doctor recommended a product you are unfamiliar with why not......wait for it........wait for it.......ask your doctor who recommended it in the first place?
Why would ypu be concerned with "is it easy to find this product on market? " If your Dr recommends it?! Get it from him!!
