Burnt out!

ad

just wondering if people tend to burn out after a 12 week + 2 week taper cycle. Im not sure if im just having a bad couple days at the gym but my fire just isnt there. I havent even stsrted PCT yet. To make things worse, I think the mindfuck that PCT is going to suck has already started.

I am weighing in a full 25 lbs heavier. Right now im bloated as fuck from my easter weekend gorge fest. Before the weekend I was at 20 lbs heavier. I know im going to lose some but is it realistic to think I should be able to keep 10lbs easily. How fast do you typically shrink?

Anyway, Im hoping its just a bad patch but I definitely feel like I need a break. Im just to afraid to take one because I dont want to lose everything I worked so hard for.

I never thought I would say this but Im ready to end it and start prepping for round two.

his taper is a prop taper, not the old school taper with the long ester. what i have him doing is incorporating the prop at 100mg EOD the week following his last enanthate pin. this allows for the fast-acting ester to become introduced in a manner that compensates somewhat for the dramatic and progressive drop in serum levels as the enanthate wears off. this is something that we started throwing around this forum right about the same time or after you joined eroids.

yeah, i thought about you having a host acct after posting that. what up, badger??

even though i run trt doses between cycles, i still like to taper down with prop. gives me a softer landing into cruise so to speak.

you're in the taper phase? if so, your serum levels are on the decline towards baseline levels. no big deal. you can and should expect some small changes as you transition. try to get out of that mindset that PCT is gonna suck. PCT is designed to keep you healthy and reboot your system. some of us don't have that option, so trust me when i say that it is a good thing.

you can also expect to lose some of your total weight during this time. if your PCT is done properly and you dial back the intensity and duration of your training, while still eating clean, you'll keep most of you gains and the weight lost will mostly be water.

the mindset that you have now is just the basic human tendancy to resist change. you've been on cycle and have become accustomed to and learned to like it. now that it's ending, you are subconsciously resisting the transition is all.

I can always count on you for good info. I am.in the tail end of the taper. it didnt even occur to me that my levels were declining simply because im still pinning. I think you are right abiut the subconcious resistance also. there is no doubt I have myself psyched out for PCT. I know I have a proper game plan, I know I will keep eating and lifting but the mental edge is a bitch. I felt unreal before, now im just...blah.. lol.

Ive been hitting the gym 5 days a week for 12+ weeks. im going to scale.it back to 4 days for a while. starting next week when I officially enter PCT.
In a way ive already scaled back intensity...I just didnt have it like I had it weeks ago.

Just take a few days off and let those muscles heal up, after a few days, you go back and you'll probably be stronger than before, you need the time off to grow anyhow. Just keep eating on those days off, but keep it clean. I always come back a lil stronger, and with more desire, after 3-4 days off every once in awhile.
