+ 1 PCT following 19-nors & late onset galactorrhea (milky nips)

bigJOHNstud started an interesting thread on lactation that started over a month after coming off cycle and I made a couple of posts:

https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/clear-liquid-coming-ou...

I read a medical journal article linked in the thread and kept clicking on links and came to an article titled "Diagnosis and Management of Galactorrhea" in American Family Physician:

http://www.aafp.org/afp/2004/0801/p543.html

There was a very interesting sentence in the article that I thought was worthy of a new thread:

"Galactorrhea also may develop following estrogen withdrawal because of the absence of the inhibitory effect on prolactin action at the breast."

To me this supports the idea that it's not prolactin rebound causing the lactation but rather estrogen withdrawal. I wonder if the aggressive antagonism of estrogen receptors in the breast by using tamoxifen and clomiphene during PCT effectively enhances the action of prolactin that wasn't problematic on cycle?

Interesting...
