Anyone familiar with Indole-3-Carbinol (DIM)?

ad

My doctor pulled me off Arimidex altogether today from negative side affects and opted instead for a more holistic / natural approach with Indole-3-Carbinol or DIM @ 200mgs per day.

Not very familiar with DIM. Apparently it's a plant based estrogen suppressant. Anyone out there currently use it now or in the past?

I have a prescribed TRT script for 200 mgs testosterone enanthate per week from my doctor.

Thanks for any insight...

I eat slot of broccoli and green veg in general. My e levels are always extremely low regardless of what I'm taking and I always wondered could it be from the D.I.M found in The veg etc. Just wondering did you give it a go n if so did u have any positive results

DIM has a huge synergy with testosterone, it does well as an anti e, how much Anastrozole were you taking.

I was using 1.5 mgs of arimidex weekly. I divided my dosage by 1/3's: .50 MON / .50 WED / .50 FRI.

I tend to aromatize quite heavily. When I started TRT, I was trying to hit the sweet spot with my estradiol levels between 20-32 @ .50mgs arimidex weekly, but my estradiol kept getting higher and more out of whack (which was fucking with my optimum testosterone ranges by pulling them downward) until my doc tapered up my arimidex dosage accordingly and my estradiol stabilized around 22. But then the secondary side-effects became too much...

Right now I'm on 400 mgs/daily of DIM from Smoky Mountain Naturals. My estradiol level has jumped up a bit from the elimination of arimidex - currently tested @ 36. But still getting good libido response and morning wood functionality... which is a key biologic indicator of endocrine homeostasis. Mental clarity and focus seems better alongside workout recovery time. All the headaches, joint stiffness, and much of the ear ringing (tinnitus) has subsided - which I believe to have been caused by the arimidex.

What have been your results with DIM?

Its used in alot of the over the counter cycle assist and pct assists and is supposed to lower estrogen a bit like reversitrol, they market it as a support in " pro hormone cycles" i wouldnt trust it.
