test level of 3500
ad
I just went to my family doctor and had my test levels checked. He's prescribed me Andro Gel in 2009 because the last time my test was checked it was 89. I started using test -c at 800ml a week for the past month. My doctor called last week and wanted to know what I was taking to make my test go from 89 to 3500? I told him some stuff I bought online used for a test booster. I don't think he bought it, but it was worth a try. He wants to re-take my blood work again in two weeks and see where it's at after me stopping my test-c or (test booster). My question is, do I stop cold turkey or just lower my dose to bring my test levels down to a more normal level? Can this be done in two weeks? He'd like to see my test level under 800.

My insurance pays for my blood work every two months. I have a blood disease called hemochromatosis, it effects my bodys natural test levels by blocking the signal from the pituitary gland. So, in the past I've been on test gel and the shots from my doctor, just not using the level or strength I'm injecting now. When I was getting my shots from the doctor, he injected 1cc of test C every two weeks, now I take 2CC @ 400ml every week. Getting your test level by the doctor is very easy. Just ask him about having it checked the next time you have your cholesterol checked, its as simple as checking a box on the paperwork.
Just a question, when your getting these levels checked is your insurance paying for it or is it out of pocket. Im 26 and I dont see how I could ask my doctor to check my levels and put it under my insurance not to mention why I would be asking him to check it. This is a serious question because I would love to check my T level but I dont have the funds for out of pocket blood work.
theres a way to get the tests ordered online. I'm not sure how it works but there are independent labs that might be within a days drive that will test for a very affordable price. use the search bar on this subject.
I went cold turkey for three weeks. Test dropped from 3500 to 1100. Doctor told me to keep using what I was on, just cut the cc down to bring me below 1000. So, I've been using 2 X 1cc @ 400ml per cc a week, now I'm gonna do .5 cc twice a week and re-test in a few months.
if your insurance finds out you are fckd. no really you are. don't even mention anything related to gear for that matter. don't even take the test fck it. take it in like 2 months. just saying.
losing insurance is not good.
Ok, my test are back and I went to the doctor. It actually ended up being three weeks since my last shot of test-c. My results were still 1100, down from 3500.
this confirms my suspicions that injectable stay around a lot longer than most people presume. did you go cold turkey from in between the time of the tests? and thank you so much for sharing!!!
Look into black licorice extract. I use it when I want to lower my tset blood levels fast and hard.
Let's assume you have been using test c for 4 weeks. The half-life of test c is 8 days. If you stopped cold turkey now 2 weeks may not be enough time for you to be within normal range. My 1st suggestion would be to push the test out a few more weeks. 2nd suggestion, at week 3 get your own blood work done (there are private labs that will do it for $60), your doctor will not see these tests, nor will your insurance company, if the results are where you want them to be the coast is clear to go see your doctor.
Hope this helps you.
actually, this is a really interesting case study. Theoretically with two weeks of cold turkey, the cyp should go just under two half-lives putting your next test range in the score just under 1000. If your insurance finds out youre on aas, I'm thinking that might not be a good thing, but I don't know how those things work to be honest. I'm not saying go cold turkey, that's your choice, but if you do please please follow up with the blood work so we can see.
Call in two weeks and say you have to work OT then make an appointment for two more weeks. cut dose to normal trt, 200 every 2 weeks. JMO I would do this so you dont lose your legit meds. Every endo I have went too says they have people they know do too much. Im 48 and on TRt for test level of 170. I think being honest is the best bet.
If you stop now, your Test level will drop back to normal like a stone. I'm a TRT patient and I have been through this before. I would not recommend the gel. Let your Test level drop all they way down and make sure you rehearse seeming pathetic and lethargic and almost suicidal cuz you don't have your Test booster. Other thing - make absolutely sure he orders an E2 level for ya - if you don't ask he won't order that test and you want that number . . . . Complain to him you're on the gel - need more - ain't working LOL
Gels suck. IMHO.
Yes if u stop test c should be out in around 2 weeks but I would make sure ur doing the gel he prescribed (trt)
