Just wondering who might have had some pretty serious swelling using straight prop. I have gear experience running about 25 years back so no problems ever personally but I hear of those who swell with it and have seen a few over the years that do. The main reason I ask is that I have a cousin, not new to gear at all, that swells with prop. He does not swell with products containing prop but he does swell with just prop. His last 3 pops swelled to about the size of a half an apple. I had him run about a third of the last one with deca to improve the oil to alcohol ratio in the prop and still swelled. Just wondering how many of you have had his issue and did it soon pass? A little more info would be that I have used the same product, Balkan, many times and I know the one he is using is g2g so no issue with the quality. As well, he has never had issues with long esters at all and used many different brands as well as long/short ester Balkan products just his first use of straight prop.
