+ 4 HELP A BROTHA OUT !

ad

Ok so I spent many yrs trying to figure out the secrets of building and while I had found the compounds fairly early on still didn't know the diet work et. Spent hours in the gym thinking "I'm sure Arnold trains 8 hrs a day"! Ate everything I could get my hands on and yes, got bigger, just bloated big though and not knowing diet would lose muscle in the process of cuts.
So I'm at the gym and overhear this conversation by a dude obviously on the juice and understands his diet, the whole 9. He's advising this poor would be 25 ish yr old and its all the same shit, protein shakes, creatine, eat a lot of meat etc etc. So is it that it was so hard for us to learn the real thing that we feel it should be hard on everyone? I don't know its all I ca n figure I guess, we got beat we beat our kids kinda thing! Lol i pull this guy aside and say brother, log in to eroids.com and start reading the diet info, read the whole damn site and get i n there and get the real scoop, that GNC shits gonna get a grip on you for yrs. He tries to start questioning me and again, just log on brother, I promise you, everything you need is right there.
Stop the cycle of shit we had to endure brothers, help a Nooka out and if you don't have time send him here, the spend 5 yrs figuring this out thing is not something we should pass on just because it kicked our asses back in the day. Come on now! Lol

I gotta reply to this again...it's going to focus on the GNC comments, as for me I could care less either way how folks feel about GNC. Yeah, there are ALOT of shit supplements on the market...and there always will be, especially since gear is illegal in this country; not EVERY supp is trash though. Supplements are a big business and just another part of the making money game. That's what GNC is, a business, and a RETAIL business at that...so, guess what, they are obviously trying to 'SELL' and make money. Do they really care whether a product works or not for you...honestly, I would hazard a guess saying, probably not in the long run! The employees in the retail locations are SALESMAN, it is their job and they will try AND they will succeed in selling products to anyone they think they can sell too. It's the nature of the business, and the world at large for that matter. Now, the deal here is that I don't care what anyone has to tell me, BUT certain products do reap their benefits. One is a multivitamin. Who out there can honestly say that they get ALL their vitamins and minerals and other essential 'building block' nutrients thru their diet?...and if you say you do, well then I would say you are delusional. It's just simply not possible. Second, we all know how important protein is to our endeavors in life, at the gym, etc. So, since when did the added value of buying and taking in some whey or casein become the wrong thing to do for the fitness minded? The proof is out there, research has proven the benefits of protein powders. Third, there are some other supps that are of some benefit to the athletic type, such as fish oil and BCAAS. Lastly, all the other shit in there is for the birds and can just be left behind. The vultures know who they can push to, and who not too...if they see a 'jacked-up diesel silverback mofo' strut in their store, most of the time, the smart employees know to not even bother fuckin with ya...if they do, tell 'em you aren't intersted in being sold shit you don't need and fuck off....HAHAHAHA!!! A look of shock will spin across the face....that's my take on the whole matter because like it or not, I will go buy vitamins, protein, fish oil, BCAAS, and my joint supplements...because even before I started running gear, I felt the benefits from those 'ingredients' for my cocktail of life nourishment and I consistently will from here on out. Yeah, the GNC game is pretty gay with some, and I wholeheartedly agree about the comments relating to what the clueless douchebags talk about when it comes to some supps(esp. test boosters), in the gym or wherever...they can't help it though, it's called lack of an education and poor research effort. It's a big problem, not for anyone of us to fix though...and frankly, I think it's somewhat amusing. Whatever keeps the simple minds happy...that's just good business, right?

WTF test boosters with antiestroblockers? ROTFLMAO For real man they are so flipping brain washed on that shit I dont even bother telling them shit, but I can assure you they sure look at me funny when I tell them I dont take no supps! Just a buttload of meat and weights!

I will tell my mail man about roids if they will talk to me about it. I talk like I am not on them just know a little about them. Hell I even asked my local cop what he would do if he found out I was using steroids. He said nothing. lol

Heathen's picture

Shit I asked my local 5-0 what they thought of steroids. I was told to share!

My bro asked his detective buddy basically the same answer. He said they really don't enforce that they just pick guys up that their told to pick up.

I found this site a couple of months ago searching for sources. I thought it was a scam at first so I lurked around for months just checking out sources seeing who got what where and how fast. I've been away from the scene for a while including the gym itself but I love hoarding gear back in the day. Even though I'm not ready to get back on I figure it's always best to be prepared. So i took the plunge made some orders and wouldn't you know they all showed up. I always waited for the questions I wanted to ask to just pop up which they did. After lurking I said F it time to start asking your own questions. And what I got was great advice. I could ask ?'s on any level no matter what and everyone is eager to help. I especially like how the vets that have been aroud the block step up and tell it how it is from experience. Sorry for the book but I thank-you for sharing and making it comfortable it feels like home.

Like you I lurked many sites gathering info and reading between the lines to find the truth. Never joined a single site other than this one. To me it just seems like a lot of smart intelligent people on here and less bullshit. All the other sites seem to have a majority of people with bigger egos than brains.

Hey bro!!! Family type environment is where it's at!! Man, I was thinking the other day that if my REAL family keeps remarking how husky I've gotten and subsequently begin to ask me the dreaded questions..."R U on steroids?" and such, that then I would just show them where the support is and hell, see if maybe they wanna join up too!!!....LOL....Well, U guys were always wondering what the hell I was doing always draggin around my laptop and phone and shit...so here is what I've been doing all along and don't give me no shit because if it wasn't for this crowd, I'd be a sad sorry sack of bitchtits!!!...HAHAHA!!! No I really think they are afraid to ask cause they don't wanna know the truth. They are just happy that I finally got myself back on track and staying away from Ole' Johnny Law. What I enjoy the most about being on here is the appreciation of each other and everybody, when in truth most of us probably don't even know each other in the physical realm. I was real reluctant at first to even join and then to even start commenting alot because I was wary that I was going to get bashed for being a new guy....funny though, it never happened. It was quite the opposite as I was welcomed in like I've been here for years and we are all just old neighborhood chums connecting again, decades later over the wire!! I was just commenting about this somewhere else, in a different sense. I wouldn't trade this for anything....the thing is, can't take it for granted though either. The information age has made it so easy on us in some ways while also dragging us down in another....but that's a different subject.

All the wasted money at gnc....that i lost. A good whey....chicken...meat beef me up fast and cost 1/3 as much. Paid trainers at my gym still promote that oddball betaexcedysterone(moth moltin) crap. So yes....when asked i help.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

I give everything i have freely brother you know that well,i do it to firsly to keep people safe secondly for people to achieve personal goals, info i input must be working because my guys are sending tons of PMs and they all seem to be growing or cutting well,it makes me feel pretty good when a couple hundred brothers are hitting personal targets.

fast48's picture

Im 5-4 195lb midget. I expect my trainees to fly past me in size and strength. Or I've failed as a trainer.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

So underground back then it was untrue asking for aas info was like trying to steal somebodys wife!

fast48's picture

Asking back in late 80's was no different than buying a beer. The best part was everything was genuine pharmacy human grade. I was still too young(18) and growing fast to buy/try em. But it was easy and inexpensive real deal gear.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

In uk it was near impossible to get hold of unless you were well in with the gym owner lol.

fast48's picture

Which to me seems odd since laws seem more lax there. Always politics in everything. Lol
