They allow you to permanently retract the needle inside of the syringe after use, or pull a plastic cover over it that permanently locks in place

I save all my supplement bottles large enough to put a syringe in. Then close the Lid up tight then take it out and throw it in the dumpster. The last thing I need is to get stuck by a needle when taking out my garbage.

drugstore i buy a box of a hundred for 20 bucks , i wouldnt understand why they would refuse you its in the best intrest of public health

Here in New Zealand, We have a Needle Exchange Programme where we can swap our Old/used syringes for new ones for free

I put all mine in an old protein container, tape the lid closed and write bio hazardous waste all over it in big bold letters. Then I throw them away.
