ad
Ok guys I plan on getting to the pro level in 3-4 years, I am still learning and building my body to get the that level. What I want to know is how much gear is the big boys running? And what the main gear they are running? I am 5'6 so I'm shorter then your average 5'10 bodybuilder but I plan on compete at 230-245lbs. I am 175 now so I have a long ways to go that why I am giving myself 3-4 years, just give me tips on what them mofo be running. Not like Phil, Kai or Big Ramy on but the amateur pro

Anyway, for what it's worth, here is a partial segment of a post I submitted a while back------may give you an idea of compounds and dosages involved.
Keep in mind that there are THOUSANDS of different configurations----in the end, all of us must find what works for OUR bodies.
Cycles to turn Pro
Obviously you need to be on drugs to turn pro. Your cycles should evolve as your body changes and as your level of competition changes so I have outlined some basics...
these are not contest prep cycles, these are offseason cycles to help you put on muscle for your next level of competition. if you cant grow off these cycles and place well in the corresponding league, you can up the dosage or you can face the music that your genetics arent good enough.
Cycle #1 (first cycle ever, before doing first show)
test only for 10-16 weeks, less than a gram
Cycle #2 (assuming you placed well and are now going on to the next phase in the competition chain)
less than a gram of test
add in deca (about 50 percent of test dosage)
Cycle #3 (you placed well again, you are now going into a regional show)
dbol or anadrol
gram of test
600+ deca
tren
gh
Cycle #4 (you placed well, at this level it may take a few tries but now you are going to national level show)
dbol/anadrol
1.5g test
1g deca
eq
tren
gh (10-12 iu's)
igf (cycled)
slin (this is key if you were able to wait this long to use slin..you have a shot at turning pro)
Cycle #5 (pro qualifier, you need to show up looking like a fucking monster. time to go all out...)
abombs/dbol
1.5-2.0g test (if at 2g, break up the esters)
1g+ deca
eq (800+)
tren
gh (15-20 iu)
igf
mgf
pgf
slin
SEO's
Pro Level (time to put on enough muscle for your first pro show)
2g test
deca
eq 1g+
abombs/dbol
20+ iu gh
tren (find a very clean source)
slin (this is now your best friend)
igf
mgf
pgf
SEO's (get used to it)
obviously more exotic compounds are used in contest prep for hardness and conditioning but this is the basic framework and evolution of how someone with good drug response genetics can become a pro. in addition, ancillaries are used dependent on if you need them or not. most guys use adex and nolva year round, add in femara come precontest time, proviron year round etc.
This is awesome I really appreciate it!!
Just curious but why do you want to go "pro" so bad? You want to be famous? You like to compete? For the bitches? For money or something like that? Just wondering what your motivation is. For me I am cycling because I want to be strong, fast, lean, and I honestly just want to look good. I want to be the best me I can be and lifting is part of my life but not my whole life. I just was curious as to why people get it in their head that they want to be a pro bodybuilder. like that becomes your whole life man do you think you got what it takes or is it a waste of time? maybe some food for thought? maybe consider what you really want to do with your life? Not trying to be a dick just trying to understand your thought process.
I don't only want to be my best I want to put my best against the best and see who comes out on top. I don't care for the fam or the bithes. There all nasty anyways haha but I don't expect that much money unless you have a name like Phil, Jay or Ronnie. Plus even if I did get to the Mr. O and won all that money would go to my parents and family lol if what I make is the minimum to make a living then so be it. Its just a dream brotha, I don't see any reason why you don't have a big ass dream?
DONT think that running pro doses is going to be the key in getting you there....
If you dont have the genetics to compete at the pro level (and there's a 99% chance you dont), then all the gear, dieting, training, praying, and hoping in the world isnt going to matter.
Right now you're at 175 pounds at 5'6"----after 4 years of training.
It aint gonna happen. Not to be a dick, but if you had the genetics to be freaky (a requirement at the pro level), you'd already be there.
And could you please define "amateur pro"???
Never ever would I be some dumbas and run pro gear amounts lol I want to live longer then that!! And not 4 years of training I'm talking 4 more years to get to that level. I've been training for a solid 3 years no gear. This last year I started using very little gear I did a test cycle of only 300mg a week for 10 weeks and gained 10 solid pounds. If you seen me in person you would see that I have the look and the genetics that are needed to achieve this dream. Ya I know very little actually make it but fuck it man, we all gotta live for something!! Lol
go at it with a back up plan. Real job to fall back on.
I don't plan on just making everything I need off of being a pro in the beginning. Of course I would have to get a big name and everything to actually start making a income that could afford everything I need and extra. But unill then of course I would have a job and still just my ass off everyday in the gym and on my job. I don't plan on just having a easy life, because nothig in life is easy. Especially this dream haha so yes ill always have a job
Well you certainly have the right attitude---we should ALL think like we are aspiring to turn pro.
Brother look, I'm about your height and about 200 pounds, and youll find a pic of me in my profile----trust me, I wouldnt have had a CHANCE or turning pro even in my prime.
Even natural, the pros BLOW away any of us here on eroids. Arnold would have smoked us all by the time he was 16 and hadnt yet touched steroids......Steroids are waaaayyyyy behind genetics when it comes to attaining the size to compete at the pro level. Not trying to bust a dream----just dont want you to labor in frustration and resort to bigger and bigger doses just because you think that's where the answer is.
BUT-----You can still be HUGE and freaky compared to the average guy---and your attitude is what will take you there. Every time I walk in the gym, I have the mindset of a barbarian---- ripped shirt, boots, and mad as fuck.
You'll do well because you thirst for it.
All through middle school I was a stocky good built kid. When I stood next to a kid for some reason I just had a look like I was lifting weights when I was 12. Also now when I am next to a guy that has been using gear for 3 years and is 6'2 280lbs and I see he looks like a really big guy but his genetics aren't there, and I am next to him being 185 I can simply see things on me that are there already that he doesnt have and I'm only 185! I will keep fighting for this dream untill I see for myself that I have no possibility making it.
Just like any drug you want to start low and gradually work up as you figure out whats best. If you have the right genetics then test, deca, dbol should work like a charm even at moderate doses.
It already is working like a charm ;)
Build that size. It's all about the big numbers. Calories, body weight, and heavy iron. You may feel good about how you look at 175 but trying to go pro is a serious endeavor.
From what I see at only 175lbs is genetics that I have that are better then your average guy. Yes I know gear will make my genetics pop better then a average none juicer but I'm comparing myself to others I know on juice and at 175lbs, well 185 now. I see definition, seperation, roundness and overall proportion that is better then guys that have been doing it for 5 or more years. Trust me if I didn't see it in me I wouldn't want to go for it man but from what I see, I see potentially. I am 185lbs and I look about the same size as a 210 guy.
beyondimportsShit I've been trying to go pro too lol. Lmk the secret if you find it lol
Patience ;)
hey there kid, incase you check back here from time to time, you keep hammering on the point of 4yrs, trust me when I say this it will take much longer than this, many fresh pros breaking out of the amateur ranks into pro status might have had to fight there way in the amateur ranks for 4 yrs after they built they're foundation. Ok so people drop the name Boston Loyd he's been at it for approx 4yrs he's accomplished a state level show win and is nowhere ready to compete at say the nationals or usa's and he also is trying to beat time by taking mega doses of aas, hgh, slin, peptides and who knows what else, I can promise you this by running a pro protocol already his body is already hyper toxic and if and when he does succeed he won't have a long carer and have certain medical issues that if he makes it to middle age it will be met with regret. some things a successful and somewhat healthy pro has, a one of a kind rare set of genetics, hyper responder to anabolic's, patience to build a foundation that may have taken up to ten years to build. I'm not and would never crush a man's dreams it's just that for a guy to say Im looking at being a pro in 4yrs and the shit you would have to pump into your body to make that a realty could fuck you up for life if not end it early is real. one of our most knowledgeable and trusted vets here Viking has spent many years doing it right seek him out and learn brother.
I listen to what everyone has to say, of course I know this dream is one hell of a dream to achieve and that is why I chose this dream. I understand it takes many many years to achieve what I want but also remember this, it only takes ONE time to step on that stage and bring the best condition to get to the pro level. I'm not sayin your first time ot second or even your 3rd time, it may take some years to reach exactly what is needed to win that pro card but it only takes ONE time for the judges to pick you to win your pro card. And never ever will I listen to Boston Loyd that's what o have you guys for
lol and no I won't start blasting stupid amounts of gear into my body. I'm on 600mg test e and 500mg Deca a week right now going on 4.5 weeks and I love my results. I started with dbol as a kicker but now with this stiff kicking in its game time!! Watch and follow me and please help me achieve this dream. Your guys knowledge is what I need and look for to help me.
I've never met or competed against Boston Loyd and at this point in my life our paths will most likely never cross. There are lot's of us out there that have been around for a long time and are in excellent health and to listen to that kid run his mouth you would think we were all a bunch of street drug junkies. The use of steroids needs to be managed properly like any other course of drugs, and, if it is, bodybuilders, should expect to live long healthy vigorous lives. Mr. Loyd can pump himself full of whatever compounds he wants but to suggest that the drugs are going to transform him into a legend does a tremendous disservice to a lot of kids with dreams and talent and discipline. I'm gonna give ya a point bro for the sentiment behind what you wrote but IMHO, the kid is nothing but a punk. (That said, I don't want to see him get sick either, that's not what I'm about).
Thank you!
thanks Gear, I agree that kid is a punk who does us and our chosen sport a big disservice and highlights the exception to the rule. and my disdain for him comes from the many young men who follow him and will administer his protocol from the very start while throwing all caution and judgment to the wind. thank you for sharing you knowledge and experience along the way Merry Christmas amigo!
I eel like a lot of you are taking this as me going all out for the next year to get on a pro level, understand when I say 4 years I mean 4 years to take to slowly build up to a pro level. I do not want to just shoot the fuck up to as big as a pro or national amateur level ok I'm going to take 4 full years to build my way to that kind of level
Genetics are what separates the champs from the also rans. I hate to say this but you've either got it it or you don't. Are you a monster without any gear, if not find a new dream.
My genetics are very good I believe, compared to a lot of people that way 200 pounds and I weight 175, I look bigger and have just a way better build
AnonMy tip always get bloodwork on how your organs are doin, thyroid, liver, kidneys, chole ext... Also get EKG's people can take all they want and be big but keep track of how your body is doing so you dont damage it.
One thing. You must know things like insulin, diuretics and other compounds can KILL you. Just because its tossed around as part of a cycle does not mean it is not one of the most dangerous things you can put in your body. Make damn sure your goal is worth the risk and you have all the info you need to stay safe as possible.
My goal is a dream brotha! And thank you a ton for tips and what to look into and make sure I get a great understanding of it. All of you here on eroids is what can make a champion alone, the info and knowledge in this place could create legends
Look up gh15 Bible explains what it takes
Ill look into it brotha thank you!
aylmejorThis... Truth right here
If I was going pro. The last thing I would be worried about is gear. 1st thing I would want to do is study bio-mechanics(Kinesiology). Then I would want to study sports nutrition. This is the 2 most important things to me. I would not want to trust the opinion of a trainer without having my own knowledge to reassure I am receiving correct info. After this I would get a training session or seminar from a pro. I wouldn't care if I had to spend 5k to do it. I would walk up to the pro and lay down what I wanted to do and beg for advice. I am not a pro and I never will be but that is how I would go about it.
Learning as I go brother, definitely will look into those 2 things. Help me get a better understand of the body and what helps and what doesnt, and I'm not all that worried about the gear I just am curious to find out the amount of money I would need each month to get to that level, also remember I'm talking 4 years to get there. Not the 245 shredded but a 215 shredded is fine because then I still have room to build what is needed rather then get fuckin massive and then try to make parts of my body catch up with others its so much harder when your bigger
10's of thousands if not 100's of thousands of $ bro, Food, training, coach, the gear is prob the cheapest thing on the list
ever seen what jay cutler shops for in a week
HE FILLS THE FUCKING CART
Unless your rich now already is really hard and grueling(not to mention expensive) to get a pro card, guys train for ten solid years in this life just to get 4th in a show that 1st or 2nd get pro cards--sponsors are the way to do it and not just anybody gets one of them, pretty much gotta become pro FIRST!
no easy task
What you're saying about nutrition is so true. Have you read any of John Meadow's material? I think they guy is a genius. Gear never made a champion. Just a sample -

We all need to be careful here IMHO with responses to a question like this because it can really be wrong and misleading. Bostin Loyd is promoting himself, building his name, and unfortunately making a spectacle of himself with discussions on gear use. Bro, it all depends on how long you have been using and how big you are. Trust me on this. We build up tolerances to all kinds of compounds over time and while I think there is some merit to the "receptor clearing" set of theories, that only goes so far. That's why I (my humble opinion although my opinion seems never to be completely humble) like to rotate compounds when I can - to avoid getting stuck with running grams of s**t. It also depends on how much muscle you are carrying over your natural genetic max. If your 40 lbs over your natural max - the gear you need to maintain that will be different than if your 60 lbs over your max. Don't assume that cause someone is a pro that they are running 3-4 g of gear a week. It just ain't so. If your 5' 6" and you step on stage at 245 shredded, the other guys will walk off stage certainly at an NPC event when you are just turning pro! Also, there are a lot of other compounds at play nowadays besides conventional Testosterone based anabolics. Hope this answers maybe a part of your question.
Yea bro I get exactly what your saying also that is why I'm giving myself like 4 years to get where exactly I want to be before I go killing stages I need muscle maturity and to understand my body better then anyone in this world can. I will not go to a trainer for shit, I am going to build my entire body myself learn every single thing about it. Yes you definitely help me out too any advice is good advice!
I agree with a lot of what you are saying. Rotating compounds that work for YOU is definitely key. The only comment I really will make is on natural genetic max. I believe that with continued AAS (especially if HGH is thrown into the mix) that genetic max gets pushed out further, but that conversation is beyond the scope of this post.
Yes. and HGH is ALWAYS used. And, also, there are a few of us (maybe more than a few) that compete and I can only tell you that maintaining anonymity here is really important. I'm impressed with your knowledge bro +1
Thank you for your kind words.
If you look up bostin loyd on you tube he goes into detail on what he runs hope this helps Goodluck man
He is a great example of what not to do.
Why do you say that. He tells it like it is
Those are ridiculous dosages for his level of competition.
I can never find the video where he talks about everything he used
how much money can you afford per year? turning pro is expensive.
"amateur pro" What does that mean?
Ya should have just left it at amateur haha and I know it expensive and everything just wanna know how much they run
So you are talking about national level competitor at the amateur level?
Yes, everyone that fighting to get there pro card. That level
If your genetics are good and your diet is on point and you have the right people behind you the following should get you there.
T3
Insulin
Diuretic
AI
PDE5 inhibitor
Dopamine Agonist
HCG
SERMs
2.5g of AAS a week
Looks like I have a few things to start looking up, thanks bro!!
