Muscle Cramping

ad

Hello everyone,

I have been taking d-bol at 30mg/day, along with 200mg of test cypionate every 3 to 4 days for the past 2 weeks. I have terrible cramping in my lower back and in my calves. Walking up a flight of stairs has been painful. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced similar sides.

I have no flexibility in my legs - attempting to tie my shoes is difficult. I have been stretching at least twice a day to try to relieve the cramping and tightness, but it isn't really helping much.

If anyone can provide some tips, they would be greatly appreciated.

its the d-bol man. im in the army so I am forced to run every morning, and whenever I kick start a cycle with dbol it feels like my calves, shins, and feet are going to explode.

Id say you need to drink more water. Just once I cramped pretty bad in gym and I didn't even know what happened. Then a pro strongman friend/mentor of mine told me its water. Since tht day ive never cramped even once

I've added more water into my day today and picked up some calcium/magnesium to take before bed. I sure hope this does the trick because feeling this cramped up is really getting old.

Even though its only been one day with more water, the cramping does feel less severe. I'm hoping it clears up in a couple days with the added minerals and water.

Thanks for the advice! Drinking more water certainly can't hurt to try.

need more fluid and iron and electrolyte son!

I just gave blood and my iron level was pretty high. Could be related to the electrolyte/salt though. Possibly some salt and drinking more water. I'd really like to get this issue out of the way so I can train the way I want to. At this point I am limited by the ability to withstand the pain in my lower back. Typically, it has been winnie that caused my body aches and pains, not the d-bol. I'll try these suggestions one at a time and see if I can isolate the issue.

Lower back and shins were horrible for me on dbol/test. I used to do a 20 min walk home from work and have to stop halfway because my shins were hurting that much - was never really sure how to get around it other than walk slower!

The Punisher's picture

It doesn't matter how slowly I walk. I can't walk fast because it has been hurting way too much. This really sucks. Lower back is killing me. I am going to kick up the calcium and magnesium and see if it helps. I'll let you know if that does the trick, that way you can benefit from the advice as well.

I had strange cramping I hips, obliques, and shoulders when on test and dbol. Made pinning glutes impossible.

I have been taking potassium supplements, eating a very clean diet with potassium rich foods as well. I have also tried electrolyte replacements (gatorade/powerade, GU energy drink, pedialyte) and haven't noticed much benefit. It has to be a deficiency of something. Maybe dehydration?

^ that's what I'm going with!!

X2 - Believe it or not - Sodium as well. I lot of us get on the distilled water kick - gallon a day or more - my coach told me once to drink a glass of salt water - 10 min later - problem gone.

You may be on to something here. I HATE salt. I don't consume much salt at all because I don't like it. I'll have to add some sodium into the mix and see if that helps at all. Although I hate the taste of salt, I hate feeling like I'm crippled even more so.

My intra-workout drink always has rock salt, good advise !

Try taurine. What I do though is take calcium twice a day and that has kept the cramps that I used to get from d-bol and other orals at bay. Also make sure that you are drinking a lot of water.

I have seen drinks with Taurine before, but what form do you get it in?

The Punisher's picture

Thanks. I'll give it a try! Can't hurt.
